If you lie to me, I'll slay you with my sword. If you speak the truth to me, I'll slay you with a spell. What will you do?
a) be slayed by the sword
b) be slayed by the spell
c) Run away!
One of those is correct, and I want to know why. >=(

Hm...good riddle. The answer is this.
a) Slayed by the sword
Say that you will be slayed by the sword. That was the truth, so he will slay you with the spell. Ah...but then it would be a lie, so he'll slay you with the sword. Then you'd be telling the truth, so he couldn't do ether. Do to this one simple answer, he is unable to kill you ether way.
So how did I do?

My riddle's from a game called Morrowind. I've gotten the answer right, but I don't understand why it's right. To me, none of those make sense.

What was your answer, Trunks? Koola's explanation seems appropriate.
For Hercule's: Tear open the clown to find the key inside of him, then put the chair underneath your brother and (with the clown off the chair) give him the key and allow him to unlock himself and help secure his fall (you can use the clothes or yourself if you want. Put on the clothes (I guess the first brother could have done that before >.>) and take the black light that the clown was holding and go through teh first door and use the black light to illuminate the path.
Oh, and the key coulda been in the pants, too, I guess. Or possibly the flashlight--there's no way to discern by the riddle.
