A long Vacation - Old Dave - 04-01-2006
I've talked with Rad and it's come to this.
I'm joining the Marine Corps. The contract is signed and I've taken my oath, there is no turning back. It's a done deal and I leave in May for Parris Island. Right now I'm in a bit of a turmoil with my Family over all of this and on top of it my girl is having my child.
It's a hectic time, I'm training physically and working at the bar getting it ready to hand over to my family. I don't have much time online anymore and as a result with Rad's permission I'm setting Uub to NPC.
I'll be on and off aim so feel free to hit me up, for those of you who have my number call me. Right now though my life is moving and I'm running full out to try and catch up.
It's been fun, I'll be back when everything is better and settled and I'm out of boot.
But I will try and pop on and off before my departure date just to say high.

Have fun. Oh! And if you're a man, you'll do Airborne too. You'll love both, really. Those were some of the funnest times in my life. On top of all that, you should have some of the best ideas of roleplays ever. I know I did. I guess what I'm trying to say here is, Good luck and we'll all miss you til you get back.

You know, the funny thing is, I am watching wrestling right now, and there is like...hero music in teh background as I read his post. It was almost..uncanny. Anyhoo...you're off to protect our country, man, good luck, and have fun, and for god sakes don't get hurt. Remember that little baby everyday, it will help when you get lonely. You're life is about to change all for the better, so when you are feeling down, just keep that in mind, and also, your friends are all here to talk to you whenever. I know I'll be IM killing you a few times, you know, when I am missing someone I tend to break down my "I don't really like to hit the IM button" thing I have going on...(I am blitzed folks, so...*cough* yeah...>.>;
Well, there was my outburst of teh day...so off to TV land I go...maybe...there are a lot of commercials...wait...ok...ill shut up now.....

Good luck man, and Basic Training becomes memories faster then you think.
