Day One: Morning - Burter Jr - 05-26-2006

Day One
6:00 AM - Noon

The sun was starting to peek out from behind the horizon. Morning had finally come. The darkness was creeping away.

"Ahem! Wake up, my little warriors!" Came the familar joyful tone of Mr. Jak. "I hope everybody is adjusting to island life well! It's now 6 AM in the morning!

I'm a bit disappointed that only two people have fallen in the starting hours of the competition! I hope you guys can pick up the pace!

The fallen warriors are:

#10 Panbuukin
#41 Piccolo

And now, it's time to announce the new forbidden zones! These zones will be activated in six hours, at the noon update! If you're in one of these spots at noon...BOOM! Hehe!

D-8
F-7
G-1

That's it! Good luck, my warriors! We've had great ratings so far, and the personal collar camera sales have shot through the roof! Keep making this a successfull tournament, sweeties!

This is Karl, over and out!"

Day One: Morning - Yamu - 05-26-2006

Yamu?s rampage shredded tree after tree, leaving a path of fallen timber that would have made Paul Bunyan envious. The camera?s soon became bored with the rampant and unfocused destruction of the freakish human.

?Shit?is this asshole going to run into somebody anytime soon? People don?t wanna see trees?? one irritated producer mentioned in the control room.

?Hey?is he headed where I think he?s headed?? The head director asked looking at the current locations of all the remaining participants.

?Yep?I wanna see what that guy can do??

?Five bucks he drops in his first fight??

?You?re on!?

His name was Herald Humes Sinclair. He had left the Complete Works of William Shakespeare open, a play left unfinished for the first time in twenty three years, seven months, and twenty one days.

He rushed out of his study, though the umbrella lined foyer, through the bare bone kitchen and into the massive walk in pantry in the back. By placing his fingers at an exact split in the cherrywood boards a small gap appeared in the wall into which he slipped through and into a small well lit room that had a simple desk overflowing with computer hardware.

He sat at a simple but comfortable chair and activated his personal terminal. ?Records. Yamu.? Please let me be wrong?please don?t make me do this?

A very familiar automated voice came from the speakers of his terminal. ?Yamu. Fighter Class: Alpha Class Minus. Possibility: Shows strong Omega Class potential??

The computer rattled as all the known files and some of the key pictures on record were displayed. There was no mistaking it?Yamu had re-appeared on the System. Which meant he had to do something he had rather not?

Yamu tore through the brush enraged at his own decline. He had fallen from a state of self-created grace and he hated himself for it. The tree?s sap was a poor substitute for blood, and he began to feel the bloodlust that had once made him the second most feared man among the Nine Pits. The intoxicating rush of primal exaltation that was only achieved when a whole infinity of possibilities were smashed out of existence by your own hands. The quenching of a carnal desire to kill that could get so intense that the release after bashing an opponent?s skull in with a rock would make any woman?s company pale to a ghostly white by comparison.

He felt that way again, adrenaline pumped itself faster then his body could replace it, tensing his muscles like a snake about to strike, sending his heartbeat racing and his irises widening, letting him get a keener look at all around him.

He was an animal in a human?s body, he was rage and wrath wrapped in skin and given a weapon?a weapon he badly wanted to use.

Day One: Morning - Retane - 05-26-2006

The warrior was well rested after a few hours. The sun had risen and the flood of it's brightest rays had ceased. The warrior pushed himself up to an eract position. The pain had lessened but it was still there. The namek pulled the hood over his head and looked down at his figure.

The natural dressings and partially tattered clothing made him look, more wicked and rough. Perhaps the get up would intimadate his foes and make them second guess themselves, which would allow him a slight advantage. A smile spread on his face only for a short period of time.

There were obviously stronger and better equipped challengers in the game. He wouldn't be able to fly solo for much longer. Allies could come in handy afterall, and he was wounded.

With one hand he pulled out his deck of cards and shuffled them. It was obvious which was the ace of spades because it was stained with blood. At least his previous foe would rmember him. He drew the top two cards, the six and ten of clubs. He looked south and pocketed his cards. He drank more of his water and bagged the canteen.

Ready for whatever came his way, the namek was off again. He had the perfect tactic to use on his next victim. It was time

(OOC: Dun Dun Dun!)

Day One: Morning - Minoshia - 05-26-2006

Blood ran down his face, glistening on his skin. Minoshia let it meltinto his cheeks, sliding onto his lips he attacked it with his tounge, tasting the familiar blood of his family. Blood from familiar friends was much les satisfying then that of innocent victims, the Konat was sure of that. The rush wasn't even close to equalling what he had felt back in the museum on Earth, when he crushed that women's skull between his palms and her brains and blood had shifted like the magma in a volcano and ruptured upwards onto his torso and face.

He felt it happen, but he didn't know if Tapion had noticed. His eyes burned as dark in color as the red ooze covering his face. He lifted his sleeve and wiped the blood away calmly, smiling at Tapion. The older warrior gave back a questioning smirk, slightly confused by how the event hadn't caused the young child to be grossed out in any sense of the word.

The streak running down his vision was running stronger then ever, pulsing across his left iris. The blood red eyes of the young prince had begun to deepen to black around the edges, Minoshia was grabbing at every small bit of sanity he could reach, hoping it would be enough, that it could overcome this minor adrenaline rush.

Then it happened, a whirlwind of the calm, the pulsing attack of the streak wore down to the norm, and the black faded from his eyes. Minoshia came back from the brink, and felt added weight to his shoulder. He looked at his brother, smiling back at him, the most perfect smile. At that moment, Minoshia didn't want to move. He wanted to sit there forever and bake in the undeniable warmth that was emanating from the brothers, this emotion enveloping them. The Konat couldn't put a finger on what he was feeling, something he hadn't experienced since he was a toddler in his home land. This simple action of comfort had given him a stronger glimpse of hope then any amount of anger, rage or blood lust. At that moment he realized one thing. He needed his brother. Minoshia reached out and hugged his brother with all his might, the two rolling onto the grass and laughing. The younger Konat began to realize what this feeling was, he thought it might even be love. Was it permanent, was his curse gone? He doubted it. He probably wouldn't feel love again for another millenia. The warriors would still feel their pain, Minoshia would still shed blood. But in this moment, when everything was perfect, the younger warrior didn't want to kill anyone. It was a notch in his belt he would never forget, this Love.

Day One: Morning - Burter Jr - 05-26-2006

Face to Face

Nappa and Retane

Retane hurried across the field to get under some shelter. He didn't want to bring too much attention to himself, but he figured it was safe with the sun only just starting to come up.

As he passed into a handful of trees, he heard a voice nearby. "Is that you, Retane?" The namek spun to see a large, hulky saiyan grinning at him. "Good to see ya."

"H...Hey," Retane was a bit surprised at the friendly entrance, but played it off well. He stepped forward and the clapped hands in greeting. "You too."

"How's the morning treaten ya?" Nappa jerked a thumb at his bag. Some nunchaku were sitting on top of it. "I've been campin here, hoping someone would show. Glad it was you."

Retane threw his bag down, acting as if he was going to stay. "Good. An Android attacked me earlier," he lied. "Burned me up a bit. I'm fine now."

"Damn, that sucks," Nappa admitted. He shrugged, "We'll be good now that we found each other."

It was then that Nappa made the mistake of turning around. Retane pulled a card from the box and looked at it. Nine of Hearts. His eyes began to very gently change color, and then darken. The card was almost completely engulfed with the color black.

Nappa stopped walking when he realized that things were getting dimmer. When he turned, he realized that Retane's color had changed a bit as well. "What's...what are you doin? What's going on?"

The darker namekian stepped forward, right in front of Nappa. Nappa stood his ground, ready in case something was going to happen. But nothing prepared him for the sudden flick of Retane's wrist, and the card that peirced into his neck.

"Hrk..." Nappa grunted. He reached up, agressively pulling the card out. Blood spilled over the namekian, but he didn't care. The red liquid kept oozing from the shocked saiyan even after he fell backwards, onto his butt, and then all the way laying down. He put a hand over his open wound. A single card-sized slit that stopped his breathing.

"A blanket..." Retane whispered, almost possessed by the beautiful feeling of the night stopping the day. The sun couldn't get into the his little circle. "A blanket of darkness. Just for you, Nappa."

It was then, after that dramatic closing, that Nappa was the third person killed in Dante's Abyss.

The nunchaku is there if Retane wants it.

Day One: Morning - The Not Cool Not Tapion - 05-26-2006

Tapion felt it too. It was a strange feeling to comprehend, once stronger than he had felt before. He had never loved a woman and his brother was the only family he had left. He had nobody else he was close to. His brother meant more to him than even he, himself. This feeling of trust and honesty and loyaly...and love...it meant more than anything as well. He couldn't describe it. They embraced as they rolled down the hill, laughing, actually laughing. Even the younger, evil one laughed. Tapion could feel the power of their connection between the two as they embraced and knew Minoshia felt the same way.

It felt as if the burden of sin had been lifted. All of the regrets and memories from the past were forgotten at that point in time. All he could think about was what happened then, at that time, with his brother. It felt like a warmth in his heart that spread through his body. The warmth spread up his spine and into his mind, giving a positive attitude and the warmth was revealed with bright, wide eyes and a smile that never left his face.

The two slowly rolled to the stop, Minoshia was on top and rolled to the side next to his older brother. The two laid side by side, silence took over the brotherly connection as they both felt the same way, safe and secure and happy. They were with each other, younger and older brother. It was right, that point in time was right, it was perfect. Tapion would give anything to keep it as it was but they both knew it couldn't last forever, especially since they were on an island and in a competition. There was blood to be shed and the two figured, without discussing any plans, that they would stick together for awhile during the competition. It was something they needed, something that hadn't happened since the takeover of Earth.

That was so long ago, though. Tapion had longed to be with his brother and had thought of him frequently when the two were seperated. But the perfectness, the love, the silence, it was broken by the younger of the two, giving a few words on what he saw to the side, catching Tapion's attention.

"What's that...? It's a building, an office of some sort, maybe."

The older of the two's head rolled to where the younger was directing to. He was right, there was a building there.

"Wonder what's inside? Let's check it out."

Tapion actually didn't want to, he wanted to just lay there and talk with his brother, get a handle on the situation more and be there for his sibling but they were vulnerable targets. The two raised to their feet, Tapion was first followed by his younger brother. They walked side by side around the building to the front entance. Minoshia tried the handle, it opened. The two stepped inside closing the thick door behind them.

In the bulding it was silent with tile floors so with every step there was a thud, the two were unsynchronized as they walked. This building was small, with only a couple desks and computers. There were filing cabinets as well which Minoshia went to as Tapion went to check the computers, both already acting on impulse and as if they had a mental connection, telepathically speaking to each other to do what they were doing.

Pressing the power button to the computer, nothing happened. The power was out. Minoshia opened the filing cabinents to see they were empty. The place was cleaned out. They were smart enough to keep information from them that they could have used. That was fine, though. Sitting in the comptuter chair, Tapion looked to the right side of the desk and pulled out the bottom-most drawer. There, lay inside, a small black flashlight. Everything else was empty, as if the flashlight was set there waiting.

"Look what I found." The older of the two commented, revealing the new item before placing it in his bag after checking to see if it works.

"Neat."

"So what's next?" Tapion asked aloud what both of them were thinking.

Day One: Morning - Minoshia - 05-26-2006

The flashlight was quite a handy tool, unfortunately the sun had already risen and his older brother was a little late in his discovery. The Konat watched his only remaining relative took it away somewhere in his baggy clothing, almost identical to the younger's own. The younger prince was back in his cold, calculating manner. No matter how happy he was, he had to remember business was of the essence, and the business here was killing others, and protecting your allies. The darker of the two souls looked at his brother, fiddling with the blank computer. The last person he truly cared about.

The youngest then scampered away, making a racket on purpose, hoping his brother would follow. Tapion turned towards his brother and chuckled, chasing the little demon up the narrow staircase that had been hiding around the corner. As they both ran up each little step, their feet echoed in the atmosphere, light shining down from the doorless frame above. They burst outside on the roof, Minoshia jumping up and down in excitement, they could see for miles. He waited for Tapion to come to his side, which he did. The taller Prince put his hand on the younger's head and ruffled his hair to the side, running his fingers through the mohawk protege. Minoshia lifted both his arms up to his mouth, creating a small megaphone.

"The Konat Princes are back!" He paused for a second to listen to his brother chuckle. "Come and Get us, The Kings of the World!"

The duo stood atop the building, together, and happy. Nothing could stop them, and they were never more serious about winning this tournament.

Day One: Morning - Uno - 05-26-2006

The miniscule warrior returned with no luck. The saiyan must have retreated to another location, and Bujin wasn?t planning on trying to tackle him on alone. The Changeling stayed behind and kept the old Namek company. As the teal warrior returned to the new home base, Koola was reminded of how he made him look like a fool. He could?ve cared less about mending wounds. He knew how to fight, and that?s all he needed to know.

More rustling had been heard, now would be a bad time for an ambush. Especially since one of them had been injured. Koola gazed at Bujin and they both nodded there heads lightly. The bluish alien picked up P.D. and all three of them scurried off. From out of the brush was a group of, furry raccoons. They ran away from the little flea bitten rodents.

'Hey, Koola! Guess who feels like talking. Remember me?'spoke a child-like innocence in the depths of Koola's mind. The Changeling grunted deeply.'Not a very good time. Koorsala.' the female sprit in the tattoo had returned.

'What do you want? We?re kind of busy at the moment.' Koola looked over his right shoulder to see if anyone was following there trail. Fortunatel, none had followed.

The group slowed down and came to a halt. They required rest, again. And until the number of people dwindled. It would be best to lay low.
There were only 42 competitors left on the island, or so they thought. One of there fellow clan mates had died earlier that morning....

If only they reached the paunchy saiyan in time, they could have aligned with him, but they were to late, he was dead, nothing could change that fact. Too bad, that chunky saiyan could have been of much use to the group.

'Anything exciting happen yet?' Piped up Koorsala

Koola sighed deeply, of all the weapons he had to get, why did he have to get her?

'Nope, not a single thing. It?s been sooo boring during this live or death tournament! It has just been BORING.' replied Koola telepathicly.

The purple changling layed Piccolo Daimoun down on the ground softly.

"...You?re lying!" Koola had completely lost it and screamed in a high pitch tone. Luckily, It was so loud that no one could tell where it had come from, but if anyone were close by, they could immediately tell who it was that had screamed.

That?s when a figure jumped out from the wooded area. Bujin tackled the man roughly into the ground. "Who are you?!" Interrogated Bujin. Then when Bujin got a closer look into the mans pupil, he could tell instantly who it was that had ambushed them, it twas Blue.

After a brief explanation from Blue, the group of four began to drink small sips of there precious supply of water, and feasted on slices of the namekians bread.

?I don?t suppose you know what happened to Yajirobe or Silver, do you?" Questioned Koola.

Blue only stared grimly. "I haven't heard a peep from this Yajirobe, and as for Silver, well...The dude went off his rocker and eliminated one of your companions."

The whole group went dead silent, until Bujin growled angerly. ?That bastedr! He?s gonna pay, and he's gonna pay good!? replied the infuriated warrior.

?You think you can kill me?? Replied a familiar voice.
Everyone gazed upward, and saw Silver standing high above them from atop the branch of an old sturdy tree. ?Well, I?m waiting.? Smirked the cocky orange haired punk.

ooc: We?ve alined with Blue. Silver's going down!

Day One: Morning - Burter Jr - 05-26-2006

Face to Face

Blue, Bujin, Captain Silver, Koola, and Piccolo Daimoun

"Leave him to me!" Shouted an angry changling. Koola crouched for momentum, and then lept into the air, his own weapon in his hand. The Sledgehammer, though heavy, was easily lifted by him.

Silver just grinned as he jumped from the branch high above the ground. "Fools!" He said aloud, free-falling at Koola.

His foot planted on the swung hammer. Silver literally stepped on it like he was running, and then kicked Koola in the jaw, sending the Changling zooming to the side. The injured PD was the next to jump up, holding his hurt arm. Silver easily spun in the air, knocking Daimoun to the opposite side he hit Koola.

Silver landed perfectly on the ground. Bujin and Blue both got in fighting stances. "I got ihm," Blue told the little blue man, and then shot forward.

It was creepy how good of a fighter Silver had become so quickly, as if there was something stronger posessing him. Blue swiped his sword back and forth three times, and all three Silver managed to avoid the red-haired warrior's attack. On the fourth strike, Silver spun to avoid the stab and planted a food in Blue's gut, and then knocked him forward with his wrists. "Ha!" He shouted, firing ki blasts from both hands.

"Agh!" Blue groaned, falling forward. He hit the dirt hard when the energy hit him in the back.

Silver turned to face Bujin, holding the spoon. "You're next, midget," the man said rudely. "What say we turn up the heat?"

As Bujin saw the alliance leader's green aura start to appear, he too let loose a wave of energy across his body. "You...traitor!" Bujin shouted. The spirits of the two clashed without either moving, the powerful ki starting to rocket across the island. Koola, Piccolo Daimoun and Blue had all got up, but were only watching as the two raised their ki higher and higher.

"There are no friends in this game," Silver repated what he had said to Panbuukin.

"You're wrong there," Bujin told the traitor. "There are always friends. Always!"

Ki fused onto Bujin's fingers. Energy rolled into a ball on Silver's palms. It was going to be one shot. There would be no drawn out fights. Someone was dying. Right there.

The two lunged forward, arms outstretched. "See ya, midget!" Silver shouted triumphantly, throwing two powerful ki balls at the powerful blue warrior.

"Ha!" Bujin lept up, jumping over one. He slammed his hands together, allowing the ki in the fingers to fuse into one single disc. He spun around, letting the other ki blast pass him. "Destructo Disk!"

The disk shot into Silver's chests, cutting through his misled heart, and out the back of his body. His reaction changed from arrogant to shocked. "What...How?" Was all he could muster in the excitement of the moment.

Bujin landed on Silver's shoulders, and then jumped off onto the ground. The orange-haired warrior hit the dirt, hard. A victim to the evil of the game.

The Spoon is there, if anyone wants it. Decide amongst yourselves.

Bujin is tired for 24 OOC hours from Spiritken

Day One: Morning - Old Selipa - 05-26-2006

The time had come and gone with the Saiya-jin waiting, the breeze the only thing to pass her by as she looked over the horizon line. As she gazed endlessly she thought back to the first time she had come upon this planet and the battles she had fought. This time things seemed a little different but the outcome would always be the same, death.

As she lifted her arm to remove some hair that passed by her eyes did she recall the movement when her foe Android 20 exploded due to his collar, the sight was not one she would have forgotten to quickly after. She had even looked deep within her to realize who she was and how fragile life was. However now did she also look back and recall that she chucked her life countless times into battle without the thought of what might happen to her. She didn?t know if it was that she tired to run away from her past and the problems it caused or the pain of not having what she desired.

Time was running out and she still had not done much. Her daughter grew and with the time that passed by did the evil within the child grow. She had lost contact with her partner, her hearts desire. She was lost, she had friends but they where all over the universe. Yet a part of her knew that soon she would be running into them all in good time.

Day One: Morning - Raz - 05-26-2006

With a grunt under his breath, the Saiyan struggled under the throbbing pain he was now feeling in his lower abdomen with an attempted rise onto his knees. It was a pure bulk of Hell that now pulsed with a threshold of agony... within his pants.

Goten had been able to compose himself as best as possible given the circumstances given. "One... two... three... Alright, everything present and accounted for."

"Bastard slug." Cursing, he dipped his hand into the sack to remove the bottle of water with a break of the seal; taking a swig to rinse his mouth out. Over on his right lay the unmoving body of his ally whose untimely demise seemed a complete waste with the weapon that had done the Namekian in nearby. Apparently the straight of his assailant?s armament was solid enough to be used to break through an impressive intensive of bone and marrow.

Thoughts of poetic irony filled the Saiya-jin's mind as his fingers curled around the handle of the Tonfa, gripping it tightly with a surge of air rushing from his lungs in a sigh.
"Yeah... It'll come." Lifting to his feet he weighed the new found weapon to get its dimensions down. It was pretty well balanced to say in the least, demonstrating a quick swing to himself before raising it to the rising sun a certain revengeful smirk crossed his face. "Find each other. Kill each other... You can count on that."

Armed and with a slight limp, the Saiya-jin left his point off to find a haven for the moment a good distance from the kill that wasn't in plain sight. Even if he had a direct hit to the head, it wasn't the one he used to think with... all that often...

Day One: Morning - Orion - 05-26-2006

"Ugh, I hate that girly voice of his," Trunks grunted as Karl finished up his updates to the participants. The moon was far from memory; the sun was now rising from the flat horizon. Breaking dawn meant far better vision, and for Trunks, far more safety. He hated being in the dark, potentially fodder from any direction, especially without his ki sense. At least he could see an attacker.

"Sounds like we're already two down," HellFighter 17 stated the obvious. "Guess there's no practice rounds, huh?"

"All the more reason to stay on guard," Kami responded. "We've been lucky to find each other so quickly in this game, but God knows what's to come next." He took the lead of the group, looking into the distance. "I've been in this before. Just when you think you've got the upper hand, some damn saiyan jumps on your back and blows you up." Trunks smirked, remembering the poor Namekian's demise at the suicidal explosion Raditzu used on him last time.

"Huh," Garlic Jr. disregarded. "I don't think any of us are going to lower our guard in a tense situation such as this."

Thirteen was the next to speak. "So, what's the plan now? Are we just gonna sit around here, or keep looking for the others?"

"I'd like to press on," Trunks answered, thinking of his good friend still unaccounted for. "As soon as we find Goten, I'll feel better." He almost failed to say it, but he followed with, "and Bra."

"The more the merrier," Kami affirmed. "Let's go." He motioned for the random assortment of warriors to follow him as he led them away from their location.

Trunks dropped back besides Seventeen. There was something he needed to talk to him about.

"Hey, Seventeen," Trunks said, looking ahead.

"Hey." The android returned the greeting, but far less enthusiastically.

The halfling wasn't sure how to say what he was going to say, but it had to be said. "How are you feeling?"

Seventeen gave a split second smirk, before dropping his lips. "About the same as the last time you asked me."

"Look," Trunks started uncomfortably, "I just want you to know that... you know, that if anything happens here, you know, to you..." He paused, still facing front, but now had Seventeen's undivided attention, "well, I just want you to know that I'll... I'll keep looking for her. Cell too. I'll find him and make him help."

Seventeen looked at the hybrid, bewildered. "Uh..." He was speechless; stunned. "Uh, thanks, I guess." He didn't mean to sound so dismissive, but the shock of the saiyan's words caught him totally offguard.

"And," Trunks added, his voice dimming, "... if I can, well, if I can "take the bullet" for you," he said, adding air quotes with his fingers, "I'll... I'll think about... no, no, I will. I'll take it."

There was silence between the two companions. Trunks looked at the ground before his feet as he walked, but Seventeen couldn't take his gaze from the prince. This warrior, who he barely knew, was offering his life for the android's, and even offered to continue the search for Sakura if he was... unable after the tournament.

Far more silence passed between the two before Seventeen finally added to the one sided conversation. "... Why?"

Trunks' eyes rose from the ground, but still fixed on the horizon. "Because... because you have something important to you, you know? You have this... this meaning for your existence. You're seeking your daughter, a daughter... well, you didn't even know she existed. What have I got? Huh, yeah, I'm a prince, the next in line to inherit an entire planetary domain. Sure, I'm the son of a woman who runs a multi-trillion dollar company dominating almost all of the known galaxy. But... despite all that, all of this stuff just... just given to me because of who I am, I'm not fulfilled. In fact, I kinda... well, I kinda envy you." He paused for a moment. His right hand reached up to his ear lobe and removed his Potarra earring. Gazing into the orange centre of the mystical jewel, he said, "you have no idea what I am."

The halfling stopped talking. He was so emotionally introverted that if he so much as met Seventeen's gaze, he'd lose control of his composure. Seventeen's lips opened, but he decided not to say anything. Trunks'd spilled his soul to him and he hardly knew the android. If he didn't want to talk, especially after a self sacrificing offer like that, HellFighter wasn't going to push the conversation further.

"You must really want me to find my little girl," Seventeen whispered to himself. He didn't intend for Trunks to hear it, but he did.

"Just... just look after yourself, 'kay?" Trunks finished, reattaching the earring to his right lobe. He power-walked out of Seventeen's pace, meeting up with Kami.

"So, how's the trek?" Trunks asked, sucking in a deep breath to placate the restrained emotion in his chest. "Everything going well?"

"I heard," Kami interjected. "I heard what you said. That's a very noble proposition."

"You heard?" Trunks questioned.

The guardian of Earth flicked his ear with his finger. "I'm a Namek. We don't miss much."

"Huh," Trunks puffed.

"Don't worry," Kami assured, putting a hand on Trunks' shoulder. "We'll all look out for each other."

Trunks nodded. Garlic Junior approached from behind, his dwarf like stature causing Trunks to look down when he spoke to him.

"An admirable sentiment," he added. "I hope you're as loyal to the rest of us."

Looking to his right, Android Thirteen were beside him, his countenance obviously set by the tone of what he heard also. The silver maned cyborg smiled.

"All for one, and one for all, and such," he said.

Day One: Morning - Violet - 05-26-2006

OOC: I have a lot of ground to cover in this post...so...sorry for the length. ^_^

Dawn pressed against the horizon. They say that night is always the blackest right before the sun began its break over the gentle swell of the earth, and it was times like this that only furthered the theory?s truth.

A gentle sigh escaped her softly pouting lips as Violet gazed into the deep, dark eyes of Seventeen. She hadn?t gotten to meet the android beyond a few simple words after Red Stallions and earlier in the night when they had met up at the park.

?So you are our almighty leader, then, huh? You look a bit scrawny to me.? She huffed, crinkling her nose. ?No offense.?

Rebuffed by her comment, Seventeen shifted his feet on the limestone steps. ?Not everybody can be a fat, rich guy, you know;? he replied with a half smile. ?But, I do say that it is about time we got to speak to each other beyond a few jovial comments. Hopefully now we can pass the formalities and get to know each other.?

She nodded once, and shifted her gaze to Kid Buu. ?It?s about time you caught up. I was getting bored out of my mind waiting.? Violet greeted the smaller majin with a slap to his rubbery shoulder. He rubbed it swiftly, trying to get the stinging feeling to subside.

?Ouch, Violet! Did you have to hit so fucking hard?!?

She chuckled lightly, and turned her attention back to Seventeen. ?Now that you two have-?

?Hey!! You!!?

The voice cut her off mid-sentence, and the small group turned towards the approaching shadow. It advanced rapidly, until they could see the shimmering grayness of the man?s hair and beard, and the bright white stripe across the man?s torso.

?Anyone know who this nutjob is?? Violet questioned to her small group. The man finally caught up, stepping lightly onto the steps of the monastery. He took the scene in with one long gaze, his light colored eyes sparkling in the moonlight.

?You guys aren?t going to kill me, are you?? The older man?s face was lined with faint wrinkles, but the essence of youth still fluttered in his aged features.

Folding her leather clad arms over the gentle swell of her breasts, Violet began tapping a foot impatiently. ?Unless you have a good excuse as to why you cut me off, old man, you better say your prayers.?

He smirked, placing a nervous arm behind his head and chuckled. ?Oh, I must apologize.? He stuck out his hand to her in polite greeting. ?Name?s Jackie.? Vi, being the great ambassador-like person she was, took it, echoing his gesture at formality.

?I?ll just stick to old man, thank you very much.?

?Ah?ok.? His eyes faltered as they darted to the other two. ?You guys got stuck in this game, too, eh??

Seventeen nodded his head, affirming the old man?s suspicion. ?Yes. In fact, the entire clan of Civil Unrest is participating this year.? He beamed with pride.

?As soon as we find the rest of them, that is, we will be forming a party. Safety in numbers, that is the way to go.? Kid Buu amended, reaching behind him to fish what Vi guessed was a cigarette. Her hypothesis was confirmed when the small majin placed it between his lips and lit it with a small burst of ki.

?You know smoking is bad for you, don?t you?? Vi scolded, shaking her head.

He took a long drag of the stick and exhaled, a plume of smoke rising into the sky and dissipated. He faltered over saying that he had been doing it for years, but that was only Dunhan speaking. ?And your point would be???

She smacked her lips in frustration. ?Nevermind. Just don?t blow that shit into my face.? He did so anyway just to spite her. ?Not funny, jackass.? She coughed, waiving away the cloud of smoke.

?Oh, sweetie, you know you love me.? He chided.

?Whatever.? She rolled her eyes. Turning her attention back to the newly formed party, she said; ?What say we get a move on and try to find the rest of these losers??

?So, you are with us, then, right, Jackie?? Seventeen asked, the old man nodded his head. ?Well, that settles it. Let?s move.?

As they set on their course, the sky began to lighten, the morning sun threatening to spill its radiant beams over the island. They continued in silence, trekking through a small stretch of prairie, and then onto the thick stand of trees, finding themselves traversing through a forest just as the sun finally peaked through the thick, sparkling foliage.

They stopped only when necessary, either to answer the natural call of their bodies, or to chew on a piece of the rations provided to them in their supplies sack.

When the bright rays spilled over a clearing, the sky had finally cleared to a vibrant blue, the kind you could only find at the birth of morning. That coupled with the raw beauty of the scenery, it made her catch her breath in excitement.

?You don?t see this everyday.? Sighed the android. Violet glanced over at him, the gray streaks in his onyx locks now apparent now that it was daylight.

?My sentiments exactly.? The female replied, echoing the sigh. She turned her head back to the path, finally, they reached a meadowlike stretch of land that spread out for several kilometers, nothing but grass and rocks. The incline of the hill wasn?t too noticeable, in fact, if it weren?t for the bright pink head tail swinging in the distance, Violet would have sworn they were on flat land. ?Is?is that who I think it is??

Kid Buu huffed. ?So the moron somehow managed to catch up to us. Funny.? He put out his third cigarette since departing from the monastery. Damn chain smokers, she thought darkly to herself. Without hesitation, Violet took off in a mad dash towards the beacon that was Super Buu, whose surprised face lit up at the sight of his comrades directly behind her.

?Hoy!? He greeted, waiving one long, pink arm. ?I brought a surprise!? Right behind him, sure enough, was Sixteen, and peering over the taller majin?s shoulder was the light blue cat, Puar.

The two groups convened, making their greetings and deciding that they should travel the island of Dante together. It sounded like a plan to her, and the newly formed clan made their way across the field to take up residence at the edge of the forest. It would have to do for now, until they could search for a better place to wait out their week on the island.

Day One: Morning - Jewtastic - 05-26-2006

"Ahem! Wake up, my little warriors!" The voice came over the loud speaker, startling Murasaki from his slumber. The ninja didn?t mean to fall asleep, yet the injury he had sustained must have made him pass out. His leg felt slightly better; no doubt he would still be limping for a while. His eyes scanned the horizon, birds chirping in the trees that line the roadway to the west, a few deer here and there grazed upon the grass lands.

The ninja?s stomach growled at him. It had been a few days since he had last eaten; the dry chicken taste slowly came back to him, plaguing him with its texture. His eyes narrowed, his pupil?s stationary on the deer. His stomach began to churn again, yet no food was there to be processed.

Stop it, he thought to himself as he curled up his fist and smacked his stomach twice. His back ached, not such a good idea. Slowly he rose, his leg still not up to full strength. His limp wasn?t as bad, but still there, noticeable to anyone who could see him. The sun slowly poked its head over the mountain, its yellow light rushing down towards the surface of the island. Its warmth was welcomed after the cold night before.

Slowly he descended from his tree post, the bandage that covered the holes upon his back cracked as he moved. The bleeding had stopped but much to Murasaki?s dismay the pain was still with him. Damn that Karl bastard. A med kit would have been nice to start with. But noooo, I have to get stuck with this thing, he thought, looking down at his wrist. What the hell is this thing anyways? It didn?t appear to do much good against that metallic beast back at there, how is it ever going to save me in the long run?

As he reached the ground he stretched a bit, his leg beginning to loosen up as he did, his back however shot into more pain then before. He threw his hands back, falling forwards to his knees screaming out in agony. It didn?t matter if someone heard him; he was on his last leg anyways. It was just a matter of time.

Looking up once more a deer had come over towards him, a fawn to be more specific. Ahh?.breakfast has arrived. Pulling a few blades a grass from the ground he lured the deer closer with a false sense of hope. As the fawn approached the ninja swiftly rose to his feet and gripped the deer by the ears. Tugging slightly he ripped at his head. The tendons that attached the head to the neck ripped first, followed by the muscle. The body of the fawn fell lifeless to the ground, Murasaki still gripping it began to tug and turn the deer?s head. A crack could be heard, followed by another as the bones cracked under the pressure.

The body now completely on the ground began to ooze red blood from its open neck. Murasaki holding the head still in his hands chuckled to himself a little, Well, they did say we would find ourselves out here?

Day One: Morning - Banned Dana - 05-26-2006

?All for one and one for all.? Proclaimed the silver haired gladiator as he kept pace with the elder Namekian and fused Sayajin.

The small clan made their way up a small rift in the ground, pushing themselves up over a small man made wall and hopping to the other side. Here they saw hundreds of yards of open land in all directions. The entire alliance paused for a brief moment to take in the over all beauty that stood before them and for a moment, they all felt complete peace.

The sky was lit up with all sorts of reds, oranges, and yellows. A tiny bit of clouds lingered over the island, but not enough to break the beauty of the scene. Birds flew over head in a ?V? formation in the distance, heading southward. A slight cool breeze came swirling in from the east, brushing against their skin and sending a cooling sensation down their spines. Small mounds of earth were scattered around the wide open plains, every inch covered by green grass. The scene was completed by a small glistening stream that lay parallel to the brick wall. It were as if they had fallen straight into a fairy tale, one filled with beauty and glee, but also one filled with death and destruction.

Sighing, Thirteen nodded his head, though it had no significance, everyone seemed to understand, and as one, they began their journey to an unknown location once again. This time, however, they all seemed to be filled with understanding and meaning, or so the silver maned machine believed as he glanced around. Noting the look on Trunks? face, he began to wonder why he had missed out on friends like him. One?s that were willing to die for the sake of another. Thoughts of Violet passed through his mind, but they faded quickly. She was here too and only one could win, meaning that if they survived until the end, one had to kill the other.

?So, what?s your story?? Kami asked the butterscotch toned man, giving him a once over. ?Why?d you join this deadly game??

Thirteen rolled the question around in his mind before trying to come to a definitive answer, he was tired of being caught off guard and looking like a complete moron, though he was seriously beginning to wonder if he really was. Searching and searching for the answer, the droid found that it was a bit more difficult to explain than he had expected.

?For the truth.? the answer had just rolled off his tongue.

The Namekian gave him a cross eyed stare.

?About what, if you don?t mind me asking.? Kami was interested, though Thirteen wondered if it were only because of lack of anything better to do.

?Oh, it?s nothing really.? It was a lie, but he didn?t want to get into his life story, not yet at least. ?Just a big gap in my life and I want to fill it, that?s all.?

Kami got the point and nodded, even though he was trying to hide it, the machine-hybrid was a terrible liar. Keeping his eye?s from android, the Namekian continued marching next to the halfling. Thirteen watched the two of them walk, they both seemed so elegant in their movements, it was something that he envied. Letting out a second sigh, the humanoid began to wonder if perhaps he could learn to find the trust and friendship that these people had together.

?One day.? thought Thirteen, day dreaming about the thought. ?One day...?

Day One: Morning - Kirano - 05-26-2006

The sun began to show as dawn approached Dante. At long last, morning was upon them. "Ahem! Wake up, my little warriors," called out a familiar voice. The voice made Bulma instantly open her eyes. She began rubbing her face, and took the sleep out of her eyes with her hands. She began stretching and yawning the same time. The voice was none other than Mr Jak?s. ?I hope everybody is adjusting to island life well! It's now 6 AM in the morning!? Bulma looked up at the sky.

Stating the obvious! He?s pretty smart he is!

?I'm a bit disappointed that only two people have fallen in the starting hours of the competition! I hope you guys can pick up the pace? He called out the names of the dead warriors. They were none she was aware of. ?And now, it's time to announce the new forbidden zones! These zones will be activated in six hours, at the noon update! If you're in one of these spots at noon...BOOM! Hehe? he called out 3 of the danger zones.

I?d hate to be those who are currently in danger zones.

?That's it! Good luck, my warriors! We've had great ratings so far, and the personal collar camera sales have shot through the roof! Keep making this a successful tournament, sweeties!?

Sweeties?I?ve made up my mind, this guy is gay!

?This is Karl over and out!? Trying to put on a more masculine voice at the last minute wasn?t going to cut it. Bulma still believed that he was gay! The woman decided to have a drink of water, and sat on the ground, listening to the birds chirping. At the same time, she switched her eyes from left to right, back and forth, totally focused. Thoughts raced through her mind. He had a bad feeling about Nappa. One thing was for sure, she wasn?t going to be fooled by anyone. The woman was too clever for that to happen. In the end there had to be only one winner, which obviously meant a lot of backstabbing would occur. On Dante, she had no friends!

Day One: Morning - Toshiro - 05-26-2006

The warrior stood there. Contemplating his movements as the light of the sun started to show it's self fully. His head crained to the left as he heard the tell tail signs of some one approching, some one strong, and some one who was either pissed off, or wanting some ones head. He gripped the chainsaw's handel before pulling it from behind his back, holding it firmly as his other hand held it's self over the cord, ready to ignite it in to action should he need it.

But he didn't, he saw the man who was coming his way. And he felt pitty for the poor man. The man that he called a friend in some ways was the man behind the destruction. Lowering the chainsaw, Gohan stared at the man as his eyes locked on to him.

"Yamu.." The mutated human roared and then ran forward, drawing forward a metal cylinder and igniting it, a beam of ki based energy leapt forward. His eyes widening, Gohan leapt over a swipe, dropping his chainsaw as he then ignited his own sword of ki energy.

"Eragh!" The mutant swung his ki sword, the hybrid swinging down his own of a more powerful origin as they smashed togther. The two swords sparked togther as the warriors looked at each other.

"Pul lyour self togther you stupid prat!" He was fighting not just to get Yamu back under control, but also to keep him self from out right killing the sorry fuck. He threw his energy on to the meshing swords to throw hi mself back, and to also throw Yamu off of balance. The hybrid reacted quickly, landing to the floor, he swung his right leg out, dropping with the weight of it to trip the mutated man on to the floor.

As the hulking man dropped to the floor, all Gohan could do to stop the man fro mattacking again was stomping his foot down on the arm he was weilding the weapon with, forcing it to stay on the floor as he lowered his own sword of energy to his neck.

"Pull it togther, or I will kill you." The hybrids voice had drained, and his eyes held a dimmed darkness to them as he stared down at him. He wasn't pissing about. And the stern look he was giving the male told all that he would do it.

Day One: Morning - Krillin - 05-26-2006

Krillin's snores were monstrous, thundering against the treetrunks and literally frightening the poor squirrels and woodpeckers amongst them. Luckily, however, these same trees blanketed the horizon, and effectively numbed the otherwise telltale noises kicking out from his slumber.

An inconveniently placed megaphone jarred him awake. The gaywad announcer did a phenomenal job of making the warriors even more hateful. For one, his voice was nasal enough to tick that primal instinct to kill anything annoying. While Karl Jak was quite safe at the moment, that hate would no doubt carry on to the other competitors. For another, he made it obvious that he was living in luxury, watching the spectacle through video screens and audio streams, while the rest of them danced around with each other. It was very much like a human zoo, only this time, the zookeepers weren't there to keep them alive, but rather make sure they died. Very grotesque. A poet somewhere might be able to write a powerful piece on a theme like that, but no one would care to read it. The human race loved to see horror and brutality displayed before them, but none of them were brave enough to delve into a good poem about it.

As the Danger Zones were listed off, Krillin scribbled on the corresponding bits of his map. Three zones. Three places to steer clear of. He wished there were actual lines in the earth corresponding to the ones on the map, but there weren't. That made it a great deal more difficult to figure out where he was, but there were posts at the corners. It would take a fair bit longer to be more precise with the zones he wanted to travel to, but it could be done.

With that, Krillin hoisted up his pack, realized he left his water, and unhoisted his pack. Then, after sticking the bottle in there, he rehoisted his pack, and went off into the early morning. An hour's nap would have to do, for now.

Day One: Morning - Belle Hibiki - 05-26-2006

The sun rose, and the day dawned crimson enough to make even the most seasoned sea captain turn his ship around and sail hard for safer waters. Fingers of radiant light slowly crepy across the forest, turning it a brilliant amber before they relaxed their hold as the sun rose high into the air. It stared down like a hot, bloody eye on the island, watching... Waiting.

"Don't pick at it," Violet admonished him again for what felt like the trillionth time.

Buu scowled but lowered his fingers from his face. Sure, it was all well and good for the bitch to say that, but she wasn't the one who was bleeding for God's sake! "I wasn't picking at it," he grumbled instead of voicing his opinion. Was it bleeding more? He couldn't tell. He couldn't see it, and repressed the urge to scream in frustration.

He was sitting on a small log at the edge of an impromptu camp. He was surprised just how many people they had managed to assemble in such a short amount of time. There were even some characters that he'd had no idea existed within the ranks of Civil Unrest. His eyes hovered over "Jackie" before he fished out another cigarette from his puttalin body. He was through how many now? Eight? Nine? He'd lost track.

As a pleasant kiss of nicotine wafted through his lungs, Buu shuddered. He wondered if he had those things now too. He reached up involuntarily to brush his fingers across the slightly raised, shallow cut across his cheek. Oh sure, real easy for her to say, his mind growled, abruptly returning to the previous subject. For someone who had had the ability to regenerate from a single particle, the idea that something so simple as a cut could make him suffer was horrifying. He could be hurt! He looked quickly at the others in the group at this disturbing thought.

Even now, could they be plotting something against him?

Day One: Morning - Android-18 - 05-26-2006

She crouched low; a branch became easily pushed aside. The field had gone by behind her; the wilting blades soon flourished and tickled her ankles. Small insects leapt from their nests to nip and peck at her bare flesh. It was somewhat annoying. Dante?s Abyss had not been this annoying last time, but then again, this time around it seemed to be legit. She could easily recall the false show run by the Cold Empire, what a laugh.

The sound of a slap echoed thought the small area. The android frowned and lifted her palm from her calf. The remains of an unfortunate mosquito riddled the crevices of her appendage. Promptly the blonde smeared it off on the side of her shorts and pressed onward through the tall grass and sparse tree growth. It was not surprising as the familiar tingling of an itchy bite soon surfaced on her slender legs. She groaned, wishing she had some kind of lotion. It was growing apparent that the real enemy here was the tiny army of critters that lived beneath her. Pesky buggers, all of them.

Her foot crushed down on a dead twig. She paused, looked left and then right, and then stepped forward. A platoon of ants scattered forth from the ground, a nasty ant hill so cleverly placed beneath her foot became the start of a war. Not one to be weak, the android fought the embarrassing girlish fear that easily began to bubble forth from her very being. Also, it was not so easy to suppress, she became the girl she was, and fled the scene. Ants of all sizes flew from her sneakers and she crunched, crashed, and slid through that thicket as if death were on her tail. To her, it might have well been, at least death wasn?t a creepy crawling fleet of little biting ants.

Panting, heaving, and pretty much having a hacking fit, the female finally halted in her rampage of fear. Her hand rose to wipe sweat from her brow before her gaze took in the surroundings. This place was not as amusing as the last one, either. From what she had seen it was just an island. There were no clever landscape ideas, nor bunkers to settle into. There were, however, danger zones. No surprise there. Perhaps it was time to rest, even she grew tired, even if it was all in her head. Only a few more steps took her to a stout boulder surrounded by a few trees and lush grass. All in all it was peaceful, but there was no telling who?or what, was out there. With that thought the sheepish android had to peek around with paranoia ever so close. She set her boomstick, as she proclaimed it so, upon the rock beside her, and proceeded to shrug her backpack off. A little water would do her some good.
