Careers - Raz - 07-07-2006 There's a good amount of those on Chubbs who've already moved onto their college years, picking up a major, deciding what they want to do with the future, etc. So why not give a little experience to others who might have the same dream? Post what major/career choice you would like to pursue and maybe there's a member who can give some guidance in the direction you'd like to go in. Personally, architecture has always been a lust for me to do with my artwork. Only problem is that I'm limited on my search for a good college to head on after high school to. Location doesn't really matter too much; I'm looking to live either on campus or apartment nearby. I want to also be able to side a bit of graphic design or animation which was why I've been checking out Laguna College of Art and Design but it lacks an architectural program, I do believe. Careers - Toshiro - 07-07-2006 I'm undergoing a career in ICT. Careers - Sammah - 07-07-2006 Super hero.... Careers - Tobias - 07-07-2006 Don't even talk to me about this. Excuse me while I go throw up and weep. Careers - Ruhiel - 07-07-2006 I'm torn between engineering and law. If I go into law, I intend to eventually become a mediator. If I choose engineering, I'll pursue robotic and microbiological engineering, so I can enter nanotechnology fields. Careers - Aero - 07-07-2006 I am torn between multiple careers. 1.) To be a football player (American football). I am good at it and have even gotten a scholarship at university of Miami, University of Maryland, and Texas A&M. 2.) To be a history teacher. I have always been interested in U.S. History and also the Great Wars. So I just figured that I would help inform young people about them. 3.) GFX Designer. Though it is early, I think that with more experience, I can become very good and actually make this one work. 4.) Law. I just love the money and the thrill of facing off against another proffesional. 5.) Animator. I seem to be good at drawing anime (Mostly DBZ). So I might try to get into that field. Oh yeah, pornstar will always be a dream career for me!!
Careers - Raz - 07-07-2006 The world does need another rapping pornstar, come to think of it. Careers - Android 17 - 07-09-2006 I'm going to be a high school principal. I'll probably also write on the side. Going to college for a Bachelor's in Environmental Biology with an intent on eventually earning a doctoral degree of some sort. Careers - Banned Dana - 07-09-2006 High School Teacher(english)/Football and Track Coach...then cross train into journalism. Careers - Raditzu - 07-09-2006 I'm working on something boring like a business major. Its not really what I want to do, and its definitely not what I want to end up hanging my hat on, so to speak, but people are stupid and they think knowing how to use excel means something. I really want to get into writing as it pertains to the gaming industy. I feel like I have a fairly creative mind, and I'm confident in my writing abilities... and its just something I think would be a lot of fun. Might as well aim for a career you enjoy. That said, though, I wouldn't be surprised if I end up in a cubicle somewhere for a while. Not that its something I want, but I'm one of those "hope for the best, expect the worst" kind of people. Feh... regardless, I still have a long way to go. Careers - Krillin - 07-09-2006 Four years in College, pursuing a dual major in Philosophy and Theology/Religion, along with a minor in Creative Writing. Then another three years in Seminary, getting a Masters in Theology/Religion, followed by a final three or so years obtaining my PhD. Though, at the moment, I'm torn between getting a Doctorate in Theology, or a Doctorate in Philosophy. 'Course, I have a good four or five years to decide that, but it'd be pretty nice to know as soon as possible. |
