Harvest Moon Magical Melody - Android-18 - 08-19-2006 FoMt MM The others were...surprisingly disappointing. Of course I have yet to play the N64 one, and I think there was one for the SNES, not sure. But yeah those two are my fav, in that order. Harvest Moon Magical Melody - Krillin - 08-19-2006 As soon as I started it up, I immediately knew that it wouldn't be as good as I kinda thought it would be. I'm not one for the super cutesy. A Wonderful Life was a beautiful atmosphere, even if the gameplay was slightly flawed. I knew they were going more cartoony with MM, but I didn't know they were going overboard with it. Simply put, it's just too cutesy for me. That said, from what I've played so far, I'll definitely love it as a game, but I'm left wishing that Natsume took the games a bit more seriously. Perfect, it isn't. If they could take the face from A Wonderful Life, along with some better dialogue (which Natsume has NEVER been known for), then it would definitely get an A+ in my book. As it is, it's looking at an A-. Still good enough for obsession. =) Harvest Moon Magical Melody - Raz - 08-19-2006 By far, the best HM game I've played has to be the one that was on the N64. FoMt seemed a bit... eh... bulky. I got used to the chibi appearance. Harvest Moon Magical Melody - Android-18 - 08-19-2006 They decided to go with the Animal Crossing angle, that's why it looks so cute-esk. I got used to it, and find it cute when my little girl nods her head in her little manner lol. They knew animal crossing was a big hit, and wanted to move back from the more serious style. I do agree that if they had taken the graphics from Wonderful life, and put it on MM's game play, we would have had quite a game. I had bought Wonderful life for 80% graphics, 10% for just owning it, and 10% to try it. I was so disappointed in it.
