Gridiron Gang - Burter - 10-01-2006

Watch it. Holy shit, please watch it.

Very very powerful movie on par with Coach Carter. It was very well done. Maybe a little cheesy, but still...an excellent football movie with great messages

Gridiron Gang - Yamu - 10-01-2006

Looked like The Longest Yard meets Remeber the Titans without alot of diffrences.

Edit: Heh heh, just noticed I still have a [M] before my title.

Gridiron Gang - Burter - 10-01-2006

It's a lot more "real" then Remember the Titans. In that it's not a Disney movie. It doesn't hold back in terms of who they are trying to convey the message to.

Never say Longest Yard though

Gridiron Gang - Yamu - 10-01-2006

Must give it a look-see then.

Talk to the admins. I doubt there will be a reason to remove it.

I like it...makes me feel established. Not like I can still access the ModCP still or anything.

We have your stats saved if you want to return

Gridiron Gang - Yamu - 10-01-2006

Still in the consideration stages...I really just don't have any ideas to write about.

Edit: I thought another Yamu had come in here during my absence?

He did. We saved your stats.

@Pan: This is the Rock's best performance, by far.

Gridiron Gang - Hellfighter 17 - 10-01-2006

It doesn't matter, Yamu. Whatever they did is lame. Get back to Kai's and get kaioken already.

Do it! I want closure! >=O

Gridiron Gang - Bojack - 10-01-2006

"Doesn't matter what hood you're from, or what set you claim. This is your hood now."

He's saying this with a posture and voice like he's still in The Scorpion King. Major turn off. I'm always up for a good 'fuck-up kid revival movie', but not with the Rock. I'll stick to Don Cheadle.

EDIT: wait, did the Rock cry at any point? Because I'd pay to see that.

Gridiron Gang - Burter - 10-01-2006

Yea, he did cry actually. A couple times. Not like baby-bawling crying, just a tear or two

Gridiron Gang - Kirano - 10-01-2006

The Rocks in it. Best performance? Yea I gotta see this now. Way to hype it up Burt.

Gridiron Gang - Minoshia - 10-01-2006

It's a good movie.

Just saw it. Pretty good scene.

Gridiron Gang - Bojack - 08-14-2007

Friday Night Lights was better though.

Gridiron Gang - Aero - 08-14-2007

Friday Night Lights was awesome because of the hits, but it doesn't really convey a message.

Gridiron Gang was good at conveying the message it wanted, much like Coach Carter, like Burt said.

With that said, Remember the Titans is still my favorite. The racial component of it made me like it the most. Seeing black people and white people get along and work for a common goal.

What? You fail.

Gridiron Gang - Dave - 08-16-2007

This movie is one of my favoirtes.
