What grade are you in at the moment?

Wtf? - Warako - 10-23-2006

Going by his age, I'd say 12th grade?

Your teacher's nice.

Depends on your class level. If it's an AP English class, yeah, that sucker is a C, or maybe even a D (and in some cases, that's a U/F, I'm afraid). Sorry, but that's how it goes in those classes. I know, I'm in one, and my teacher enjoys giving me them. 'Course, that's for poetry writing and analysis, and I personally hate poetry with a burning passion (I find it pointless and stupid), so that causes some problems.

However, if it's not an AP course, that really shouldn't be a C paper. If it was your final draft, then yeah, it could merit a C. It's got some errors, and doesn't have much coherency. However, if it's a first or revised draft, then no, that's not fair at all. That should be at least a B, minimum, for a first draft. However, if it was a final... yeah, I'd have to agree. Especially in junior year.

Sorry if that wasn't the answer you wanted to hear. Sad
But that's just how our lovely educational system works.

Badly structured.

Well, free-range mainly means like what point of view, characters, setting, storyline, that kinda stuff, but as far as writing quality, I doubt she'd not care about that.

Literature or Language AP? If it's Literature, I envy you. I'd love to write anything prose or short story related. I haven't gotten to do any creative writing inside school since... lemme think... 7th grade. Yep. My class makes me wish Shakespeare had died young. Which makes me mad, because I used to like Shakespeare. >.<

But yeah, for an AP class, you probably should have put some more into it. Free-range, yeah, the idea you had was original. However, the whole story looked like you rushed it, perhaps. Or, if you're like me, did it in the 5 minutes before class. =P
