Anyways, I hate how they ended it. Goku just flying off with Uub? Come on, ghey.
At least they should of gave us the Goku and Vegeta fight since that was an underlining theme of the whole series, their rivalry. They could of actually showed the entire tournament from start to finish rather than just Goku and Uub's ghey fight and than show stills of the rest. I don't even know who won the tournament, was it Pan? I couldn't tell.

The idiotic grunting and screaming. I realize that's mostly because of the dub, but it's so retarded. Cutting that shit woulda made the show so much more tolerable.
Uh, what else... I guess the storylines coulda been more fleshed out. Just once I would've liked to see someone win because they're a better strategist or have a unique advantage. Something besides "Well, he's stronger than such-n-such."

As idiotic as this seems (also as impossible as it is) the show would be amazing if it were re-animated and Akira collected some of the internets best DBZ RPers to help im close up some of the loop holes left in the transition from the manga. Naturally, that will never happen. But it's a nice dream.

1) The lack of any sort of really 'evil' villain after Frieza. Frieza stands out as the last true 'villain' in DBZ, since all the other creatures that they fight are DESIGNED to kill. They've never been given a real choice between Good and Evil. Frieza had that choice, and chose evil. Which makes him way more badass than any of the Androids.
Also, he was a racist. Pure awesome.
2) The Buu Saga. Shouldn'tve happened. Even though I love having Kid Buu and all, the series ideally should've ended after the Cell saga, what with the whole passing-of-the-torch thing.
3) Fox (I think it was Fox, may have been WB) for only being able to take the series to where it did on Namek. I was just watching through some of those episodes, and they did a really good job on the series. Even if they took some liberalities with the translation (which it seems they did), there seemed to be a lot more humor to it.
4) Two-frame Fighting of the Cell Saga Recycled x10000. Absolute shit. Thank God it got a bit better in the Buu saga.
5) Saiyan Domination - Very rarely did anyone not a saiyan contribute in any meaningful way to the fights after the Saiyan saga. Another reason why I like the episodes that Fox did.
The real exception to this was when Tien briefly held off Cell, which was super badass.

and Yajirobe cut off Vegeta's tail he should get credit for that....and if it wasnt for Yamcha being stupid no one wouldve known the saibamen blew themselves up

I forgot about Piccolo. Maybe that's saying something. He showed up in the Namek saga long enough to stop second form Frieza for about 10 minutes, this is true. However, once Frieza actually had to start working, he just went "pft", 3rd Formed, and raped Piccolo's ass. Thereafter the namek was a complete pansy until he fused with Kami and fought 17, where he was whipped on again even though he had the super badass Hellzone Grenade (which did NOTHING, despite being probably the cleverest energy attack seen). Correct me if I'm wrong, but those are the only *big* battles he's been in after the Saiyan saga.

Remember, I said no one else really contributed AFTER THE SAIYAN SAGA. Yajirobe's tail cut was Saiyan Saga. And I find it a dubious distinction that Yamcha's single greatest contribution in all of Z was getting blown to pieces because he was an overconfident idiot.

lol..oops...wait...there was that time that they couldnt find the androids and Yamcha did...and Piccolo could've beaten Cell Imperfect if it wasn't for Trunks and Krillin showing up(saiyans negative contribution)....and...there has to be more hold on....Oh yeah if it wasn't for Hercule, Fat Buu would've still been bad, and Vegeta would've been killed by the Spirit Bomb....and lol the Yardrats taught Kakarot IT if it wasnt for them he wouldn't have been able to do some of the things he did...o yes you cannot, absolutely cannot forget the lobster thing on namek that saved Bulma from two of Frieza's henchmen....and korin contributes by makin Senzu Beans..and I beleive it is time for me to go to sleep because I'm tired, so good night
Dragonball Complaints - Krillin - 10-23-2006
1) Saiya-jin domination, as per Kid Buu. Tien pwning Cell was hardcore, but it barely did anything. Sure, it did some super sweet plotline thing, but Cell wasn't any worse for the wear afterwards.
2) Lame villains. Cell? Buu? Gay. Fuz is where it was at. And Vegeta.
3) Great Saiyaman.
4) Horrendous fight sequences. Someone already mentioned it, but it deserves repeating. When I watch a fight, I want to see new things. I don't want to see Cell and Goku doing the same punch-kick combo super fast over and over again. I want to see Cell getting drilled in the head with a kick and sent flying, but correcting himself with a somersault, all while charging a Kamehameha Wave, which Goku dodges and sends one of his own, at which point Cell kicks off, charges ki into his fists, and punches through the wave and into Goku, who promptly flies off, only to correct himself while sending a flurry of ki blasts to throw off the trail, while...
See what I mean? Much cooler sequence than, "Oh, man. My non-descript melee attacks aren't causing any damage! And we're already fifteen minutes into a twenty minute episode! Damn, what will I do to keep their interest?"
5) SSJ4.
6) Two-dimensional characters. Goku is such a boring character. Vegeta would be boring, were it not for the whole "Father of Trunks" thing. That was deep and interesting. He changed his way of life just for the kid. And right when you're all settled with Vegeta's new figure, BAM! Majin Vegeta hahaha! Then Final Explosion...damn. Those were great times. Even if they happened in the Buu Saga.
7) The Spirit Bomb. Damnit folks, there are other ways to kill baddies. I could've told you Goku was gonna whup Kid Buu with a Spirit Bomb AGES before the saga even came out. It was just fact. The only major non-movie villain I don't think he ever used Spirit Bomb against was Cell. It was just dumb.
8) Everyone and their monkey going SSJ. Whoa! Goku just went SSJ after years and years of training and hard work and determination and perseverence! I guess that means we can go SSJ at age 7, without any real emotional trigger. Sweet!
9) The horrible dubbing. "Cell, you killed my dad! Stop it you big bully!" No. Gohan, we're sorry you had to use such kiddish words in such an obviously taxing situation. If I ever oversee a dub for DBZ, I promise the words/phrases "damn, son of a bitch, bastard, and cocksucker" will all be useable. Well, maybe not cocksucker.
10) Lack of actual tactics.
11) Gohan giving up fighting to do school. Dumbest plot move ever. I mean, hell. You just saved the universe. You are potentailly the strongest person, like, ever. So what do you do? You go to high school and stop training. Duh. Not like any pink jello-ish creature will ever attack.
12) Over-commercialization.

I think the reason some of us are here was because of that interest of the Dragonball Z series, despite its most noticeable flaws. I know the show was corny, but honestly, I?m glad it was there. If not for the series, there would not have been a Chubbs. =(

1: SS3, why? Just why? I mean when Goku went SS3, who couldn't even beat fat Buu..... there was just no point.
2: Android 17 and 18 should have had a bigger role than just beings Cells upgrades or whatever they were.
3: The power levels, case in point the whole, when a Saiyan gets 7 shades of shit beaten out of him and gets revives, his power levels ski rocket. Remeber when Vegeta got pwned by Zarbon, then after getting revived he they fought again, and Vegeta didn't break a sweat....
4: The chocolate thing, so, Buu can turn a human into chocolate and eat him..... it may just be me but that is so lame I can't even find a word to describe it's lameness. Also, when Piccolo magically made Gohan a new pair of clothes....Wtf!?
5: Koola not being in the series, it would have been so cool if when Mecha Frieza and King cold came to Earth Koola came too. They could have done a whole saga out of that.

YES!!! I always hated that about the series. Every time, it's all "Goku is uber-suppa saiyan, nobody can beat him, lolololololol11!11" Stratigy is the way to go! When Gero came into the series, I was happy that someone with a brain instead of mussle came into the battle. He would've have won had it not been for being EXTREMLY OUTNUMBERD. No matter how smart you are, you can't beat Vegeta, Trunks, Piccilo, Gohan, Tein, and Krillian combined!

I am adverse so SSJ3 because of the sheer fact that having 3 levels of "Ultimate Best Ever Warrior" is silly.
"Super Saiyan? Ultimate Warrior, I guess. Super Saiyan 2? Um... Ultimate of ultimate... I guess that's possible. I mean, it's Gohan, so we know he can do shit beyond the ordinary. It's been hinted at all series! So I'll buy that. Super Saiyan 3? Seriously, how lazy are you guys? So the build up to Gohan's SSJ2 over the entire series = nothing now? That's it, I'm outta here. Latah fuckos."
I also found it exasperating that the Buu saga kept you in the thrall, waiting for Gohan's super-secret-omg-wtf-bbq-rape power to be released by Old Kai, only to watch Gohan be good for one episode... And then get pwned. Sigh.

Vegito was a more poetic fusion given thier long rivalry.
What I love about DBZ is the concepts. At it's core its a very good series. But it suffered form budget restrictions (the punch-disappear-punch fights, the 20 minutes of talking) and general greed and fan service (buu saga-GT).
The buu saga would have been much better as a movie, centered around one, maybe two buu forms and fusion saving the day. It would get the fanservice of seeing the characters in the future out of the way, plus introduce a couple cool concepts the the Buu Saga brought with it.
