Now this is f-ing ridiculous... - OldYamcha - 10-28-2006 Okay, so being a 9th grader means I have Logic as a regular class...now that would be cool...if only the teacher wouldn't be an ass... So, I was explaining something to my friend during class, and he got mad and gave me the most ridiculous punishment ever. This is what he said: "On paper, explain that doorknob to me." -points- "...in 5 pages." I took it as a joke...and found out through a phonecall I have it as homework for Friday. Any other ridiculous punishments to share? Now this is f-ing ridiculous... - Android-18 - 10-28-2006 Better learn not to talk during a teachers lesson while you're young. I have heard a lot of grief upon students who choose to talk during a collage course. I'm not social, I stay out of trouble, so I share anything. All I know is I hate those people that do try to talk to me during class, or those who are talking and cause the teacher to try and talk over them. Now this is f-ing ridiculous... - Super Buu - 10-28-2006 That's a ridiculous punishment. Now this is f-ing ridiculous... - Bujin - 10-28-2006 In 9th grade, my english teacher had a glass eye, one in her head and a spare on her desk. One time, I was talking in class, and she got mad and threw the spare at me. <.< It's not as bad as the doorknob thing, but it kind of hurt. Now this is f-ing ridiculous... - OldYamcha - 10-28-2006 Quote:Originally posted by Android-18 I agree...though...I was explaining something about the lesson. Because the techer speaks like he is juggling 5 basketballs with his tongue, and he spits while doing so... >_> Now this is f-ing ridiculous... - Kami - 10-28-2006 Copy and paste "It opens doors." for five pages. Now this is f-ing ridiculous... - Uno - 10-28-2006 In 4th grade, I was standing in line with the other kids to get ready for recess. The kid infront of me turns around and starts to talk to me. We recently got in trouble as a class by being noisy, so the rest of the class was quiet. I knew the teacher was going to find out, so I didn't even say a word to him. The teacher hears someone talking, walks over to us, and punishes me! I get a detenion a have to write and read aloud a 300 word essay about how I disrupted class, and the kid that was talking gets off scott free. I evened tried to say it was him, but he was like "Stop trying to blame someone else for something they didn't do." Fuck off teacher! Now this is f-ing ridiculous... - Spencinator - 10-28-2006 That reminds me of the time in third grade when some kid pushed me, and I ended up getting knocked into some kid in front of me by accident. Instead of the kid behind me getting in trouble, I get in trouble for it. I tried to explain myself, but she didn't buy it. =\ I also remember last year when I was trying to quietly throw away some garbage on my desk while the rest of the class was working, and I got yelled at my teacher because she said I was ?disrupting? the class. O.O I was trying to explain that my desk was a bit messy so I was just trying to clean, but she wouldn't stop yelling at me. So I was sent to the office. >< Now this is f-ing ridiculous... - Super Buu - 10-28-2006 You guys have crazy teachers. I kinda wish mine had been a bit closer to that (just not as extreme). I could never concentrate (and still can't) with any kind of noise. When the whole room is deafening from talk, it's impossible. Now this is f-ing ridiculous... - Paragus - 10-28-2006 I was in 3rd grade. One day it was early in the morning when the pledge of allegiance comes on the loud speakers and my shirt got hooked on my desk when i tried to stand, so i wasnt standing for the first couple of lines. My teacher came over and grabbed my desk and literally chucked it across the room and made me stand for the rest of the school day. Very traumatizing .
Now this is f-ing ridiculous... - Uno - 10-30-2006 Quote:Originally posted by Paragus You want to talk traumatizing? When I was in 8th grade, in sewing class(I hated the fact that I couldn't pick the classes I wanted to be in), a kid got his finger cut off! He and his friend were being stipid by playing a game invovling their fingers and sissors. One thing lead to another, and off the finger went, flying across the room. I was the frst to see it happen, as I was telling them, "Dudes, something bad is going to happen if you two don't stop." They said, "What's the worst that can happen?" After he went to the hospital, we were tring to clean the blood the went everywhere. Of course, the finger went flying, and we couldn't find it...til I stepped on it. I still have nightmares. Now this is f-ing ridiculous... - Hellfighter 17 - 10-30-2006 My class always talks during lessons; our teacher seven join in the conversations sometimes. That sounds like a great punishment, actually, especially considering the class. Now this is f-ing ridiculous... - Paragus - 10-30-2006 Quote:Originally posted by Koola omg that is traumatizing. Im sorry
Now this is f-ing ridiculous... - Tobias - 10-30-2006 Hey Koola, sorry about the finger thing. Seriously though that quote you have in your sig? The Joker said it. Now this is f-ing ridiculous... - Ruhiel - 10-30-2006 Okay, so, we were sitting in class, and for one reason or another, we had a pair of white rubber gloves like the doctors use. Don't ask me why, we just did. So, this other kid and my friend got the bright idea of deciding to blow them up like balloons and bounce them around the class. It was funny as hell, until the teacher walked in. Now, she's a cool teacher, but when she saw this, she came up with an equally ridiculous punishment. She walks over to the whiteboard and tells the kid who blew up the gloves in the first place to "come here." She then proceeded to draw a small circle on the whiteboard and says "put your nose here." He laughs and eventually does it. Five minutes later, he's still there, and then he starts saying "this is ridiculous. My nose itches so bad!" Then, the teacher walks over to the board again, and draws a second circle. She says "put your right foot here." Now, by this time, the whole class is rolling with laughter as he struggles to balance on one foot, and eventually fails and falls backward on his ass. So, the teacher laughs, and walks up to the board again. She draws a third circle. "Put your other foot here." Yeah, sure, it didn't happen to me, because I do my best not to push a teacher to the point where I get into trouble. But still, it was a ridiculous, yet absolutely hilarious punishment. Now this is f-ing ridiculous... - Dehan - 10-30-2006 Of course I had many teachers give 'rdiculous' punishments...didn't mean I did them lol. I had one teacher demand I write a three week journal and prepare to do a short presentation/speech in front of the class or serve a week in ISS. I lied and said I'd do the journal...and I BSed my way through the presentation lol. But in college the punishment varies. If a instructor is standing up trying to give you tips on studying for his next quiz or test he expects all of the students to stay silent. I've had four instructors to just sit down and call up their wives or friends if someone starts talking, especially if they ask you once to be silent or let them finish...and if you don't then they just tell you to leave and be ready for the hardiest quiz/test/mid-term you'll ever have in your life. Since I've been in college only three instructors have kept that threat...and it sucked hardcore. I say show your teacher as much respect as they deserve, and I know from experience that many don't deserve any respect what so ever but if you want to get through high school or colleg epeacefully just bite your tongue and kiss butt if you got to. Now this is f-ing ridiculous... - Uno - 10-30-2006 Quote:Originally posted by Garlic Jr Yes he did, but I was quoting Burter Jr. on quoting the Joker. Anyway, I'm gonna change it. Now this is f-ing ridiculous... - Hellfighter 17 - 10-31-2006 I've never received a ridiculous punishment, but I have been punished for a ridiculous reason. It's winter. I'm walking onto the playground in good ol' sixth grade, then a friend starts chasing me and throws asnowballs at me. I am merely running away and not retaliating (I love snowball fights, but the playground supervisor was a hardass). Then all of a sudden the supervisor tells me to come to her and didn't even notice him, and tells me that I have detention. When I tell her what was actually going on, she says I should have came and told her, then I go on to say that I was actually going in her direction and she yelled at me before I could tell her (both true, not that I would have told her). She just stares at me then tells me when I have detention. =\ I'll never forget, even though I don't really care; I just like to pretend I'm a grudge-holder, which I may secretly be. |
