This is from the 2006 DA board. I'm sure the rules will be similar.

If you die by inactivty, you die for real. If you kill yourself, you die for real.
If you die normally, in a battle, you will be returned to the living realm and teleport to a planet of your choice, except Kajin Rala and Frost
