My Last Fight - Broli - 12-20-2006
Well fellas, I've engaged Android 17. I'm going to attempt to hold him off long enough for you guys to finish Super Buu and the rest of the forces in the fortress. To be honest, I'm rusty. I haven't roleplayed anywhere near my maximum potential in months. In short, I don't know if I can beat Android 17, and if I can't, then I'll be dead.
I've put so many hours into every single bit of planning in this game. Putting up buildings, planning offensive strikes, flanking strategies, messages, assassinations, everything I've put hour after hour into making sure that we're the best team out there. I have to say that, regardless of the need to be humble, I think I've done a pretty great job.
With that said, if Android 17 kills me, I don't want Dante to fall apart. I'm not saying that I'm central to our force, but I am the guy doing most of the behind the scenes work. So, I want you guys to know what I think would be the best thing to do if I die.
Reijin needs to be promoted to General. With KV working as much as he is, he could use another helping hand. Everyone needs to respect Reijin and his leadership just as you would listen to my advice. I have full faith that, even if I die, you guys can easily finish off Outcast.
United and Dante have an alliance that will be upheld until the Outcast is finally finished off. When that happens, you need to be quick to catch United off guard. They've turtled this entire game. The weakness to their building strategy is that if you can get them to fight outside of a fortress or on some other location, you can beat them. Try to lure them to a village, a fort, anything weaker than what they're trying to be defensive is.
Flanking and encirclement is the key to any strategy. Try to find ways to trick Garlic's units and get around him. Just when he thinks he has one angle defended, hit him hardest where he's not expecting it.
I have full faith in you guys. I said it from the start that Dante would be the winners of this game, and I still think we will be. I know that you guys can achieve this regardless of if I die or whoever else dies. You guys are the best in this game. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise. Don't let anyone else make you think that you aren't good enough to take on United, Outcast, whoever.
Roleplay to your best ability. Do it actively. Win this game, with or without me.
You guys are awesome. I've loved roleplaying with each and every one of you, and I wouldn't have changed any of you out for another player. I came into this as the Commander of the best bunch of roleplayers, and if I must, I'm going to go out as the Commander of the best flipping writers at this RPG. You guys got this covered.

Well, for one. I loved the speech, but come on Commander. You're not going to die, you're going to fucking tear his shiny metal ass!
If not, then you were, not you are the best commander I could ask for. I'll make sure to help win this, and that means this little Pigeon is going to take a crap all over United and Outcasts if neccesary.

I just hope no one expects this as a "We're down for the count" post. I think that this group will be able to pull off a win, but I'd like to see everyone putting their hearts into it. I honestly think that we have the better writers here in this group, but this is the time to show it. If you are convinced you can't beat a PC at all, you should partner up with someone and double team the person. Broli and I, I'm pretty damn sure, will be able to beat 17. If either of us die, I just want to say just as Broli did, that we had the best time working with you guys. Although it was incredibly difficult for me to stay active during this, I have to give it to Blakey boy here. He really stepped up during the time of need to be leader of this group. He handled a lot of things whenever I wasn't able to or didn't know what the hell was going on at the time. Reijin and several others also stepped up in terms of being a leader of this group, and for that I'm pretty thankful to have you guys on this group. Completely.
However, I don't think this is the end by a long shot. We should continue to RP as much as we have, in not, even more so. Beating Outcasts will definitely give us one hell of an advantage and Garlic Jr will be sending close to 1,000 troops to help us. With that, we should be able to back ourselves up even further against these guys. I feel like we are definitely win this, but it's all up to us. Only we can control whether we can win this fight. Not Burter, not Outcasts, and not even United. Only WE can. I'm willing to offer my entire zeni to the guy who can RP the best in this competition if that's what is needed.
Oh, and kudos to Broli for posting that humongously large post. I tried, failed, and will now shut up. =(
