I have an incredible idea for a movie. But until I become older, have about five million dollars, and am able to hire and movie crew and get some actors, I need to write. So I will write a small novel over this. I want some opinions and ideas, please. This is serious, no spam.
Ok, well I got this idea last Friday, well, Saturday if you want to be specific. It was abut four in the morning at the school because we were having a lock-in. Don't know what it is? Too bad I'm not explaining, it's seven in the morning.
Anywho, they were playing a game I remember playing when I was about six or seven or something and it got me an idea. The game was Called Run, Rabit, Run. If any of you have played it. It's where you pick a few people to be the "wolves" who are the people who are "it" basically. We played this in the gym for the lock-in so they lined up at the end line and when the people who are "it" yell "Run, Rabit, Run!" the people at the endlines have to run from one side, to the other. If they are tagged, they are out. Ok, get it?
Well, I was tired, disillusioned, and stuff....when the idea hit me.
I would make a move (Or, well, right now, write a novel) with the plot being like this game.
The plot would be:
A young girl, no older than 10, no less than 6, would be a mass killer! Except she isn't really that age but her body seems like it. She is at least one hundred years old from the time when the game Run, Rabit, Run was created. She uses this for her killing too. She likes to be known as "the wolf" and she has many servants and friends of her own that help her. They will catch people of her choice for different characteristics they have. Such as, if they've been bad or good, hurt people or help people, have diseases or not, etc.
She chooses these people and her servants catch them and they are thrown into this long maze, or werehouse, I still am figuring out what the place will be, and they have to try to escape. But the thing is, they are too scared to do anything at first so she talks to them over a loud speaker, telling why they were chosen. Then, when it's time for them to run, she says "Run, rabit, run."
And then stops talking on the speaker, and the person(s) will run for their lives. If she catches them, they die. She knows every way into and out of the building and has traps set up. If a person gets by her to the other side, they live.
It's still in the process of making. So what do you guys think?
I like it, I could make something out of it. If you ask me, it is kind of like Saw. A little bit though.

You dont need much to make a movie. A few cameras, location and some people who would act. Money doesnt always make the movie. For instance, Blair Witch project didnt take up a whole lot of money, yet lot of people went to see it. On the other hand, Haunted House spent lots of money on making visual effects to scare people, yet nobody went to see it. Its not the money that counts, its skill. To tell you the truth, you dont need much to make this movie. And the idea is really good. Just make sure it will be a good scary movie (Blair Witch Project) and not a second class idiotic movie (Texas Chainsaw Slaughter...see its so bad I cant even remember the exact name).

Reminds me of this story I read about this hunter guy who has hunted everything but humans. So he gets this guy to go out into the forest and he tries to kill him, but in the end the guy he hunted kills him. Idk, that thought just came to mind.
Anyways, about the warehouse thing, why not like, an old abandoned shipyard, or something like that. Those are always pretty scary.
And for an ending, are you trying to make "the wolf" get killed, or does she live and keeps on killin people?

I don't think it was a book. It was a short story. I read it in the 8th grade. It was kinda weird.

Good idea about the shipyard, I'm still thinking how to get them there.

What if, she like followed someone she had marked for the entire day, then, when they are alone, come up behind them, and knock them unconcious. When they wake up, they are in the place.

That sounds like a good read, I would rather read it then watch it. But you can ahve the movie come out like 50 years later and kill the book o.0 I think a godd ending would be that the "wolf" would go off somewhere alone and have a offspring and leave them with her subjects.
EDIT: 20, then that would be from the victim's point of view, would it not. Unless it is at the beginning of the movie.

What about, she puts up some kind of reward to go to this place or somethin, and you go from there. (that's probably some movie too...)
EDIT: Scratch that. How's about she has basically a "hitman." The hitman goes out a pretends to be the marked person's friend or something. They lure the victim to the place, and then whatever.

Thank you, I just got a better idea. Her "sister" or something will meet up with guys or other chicks and lure them there.

xD. I like the idea a little bit, we will see. This will be a long novel. I am going to ask one of my teachers to help edit and revise it too if she will. After I get back since it's Christmas break, at least.

there are a lot mmore genres then scary books and fantasys....infact im going to write a WWII era story for the cultural day on my school. Look over the limits of the genre your working on......be the Leonardo da Vinci of writing.

Not exactly what was said, but basically "Any man who collects historical war arctifacts, has never set foot on a battle ground." That is from The Last Castle. I would say that I do not like peopel trying to write about war, unless they have endured it themselves. =(
BTW, The Last Castle is a awesome movie. =)
EDIT: I am trying to write something, either a short story or a novel, not really sure. Just so you know, short stories aren't always 5-10 pages long, they can be 50 pages long, it is just a story that does not qualify for a novel. My novel/short story would be about the last couple of months in my life, as they were the most hectic, and on eday I remember every moment.
