I DID IT! Bwahahaha! - Super Buu - 01-10-2007

I killed Seymour after having left that game idle for like 2 years! Friggin' Mount Gagazet ...

Now, can someone remind me what the hell a Fayth is? >_> Or at least, what they're explained to be at first.

I DID IT! Bwahahaha! - Jewtastic - 01-10-2007

A being that is dreamning for eternity but lends you their spirit in the form of an Aeon. Oh and I agree, Mount Gagazet what the hardest battle with Seymour...everything else was like a peice o cake.

I DID IT! Bwahahaha! - Krillin - 01-10-2007

Congrats dude. Gagazet Seymour is the second most "break-your-controller" worthy event in the game.

The first being getting Tidus's Ultimate Weapon. Damned chocobos

Or Lulu's weapon. Yea that wasn't to much fun either.

That's third.

I DID IT! Bwahahaha! - Tapion - 01-10-2007

I was told that the fight with Seymour on mount Gagazet would be really hard, but I won on my very first try, and easily too...thanks almost entierly to Bahamut of course Big Grin

I just used Game Faqs to make my way through that game, it was a piece of cake. Though everytime I came to the save point just before the final battle I always chickened out and used my Xploder cheat thingy and just gave all my characters unlimited stats.

I should really play that game sometime and try to get through it on my own.

You should, it's a lot more fun that way.

And yeah, Seymour is hard. Although I beat him the 2nd time around, it was a slim margin.

Man fuck that lightning. I gave up after the third time I messed up.

I DID IT! Bwahahaha! - Dantes - 01-10-2007

I did it by levelling up a bit. I didn't even have Hastega before I did so, and I think that made a lot of difference. After grinding some, I breezed it on my first try (after having had my ass handed to me multiple times the last time I picked it up to attempt).

I DID IT! Bwahahaha! - Super Buu - 01-11-2007

^ And to add to the above, the reason I left it so long is because I hate grinding (I think it takes the skill out of winning, not to mention the fun out of the game), and pretty much refuse to do it on a game I've paid for. But in the end I decided that it was lesss frustrating than doing the fight over and over and losing. >_>

Anyway, PROGRESS ENSUES! I'll let y'all know I complete the game. =o Right now I'm making my way through those caves on Gagazet, after a little swimming bit.

I DID IT! Bwahahaha! - Spencinator - 01-11-2007

I personally love to grind to tell you the truth. I think it takes a lot of dedication to spend hours leveling up and purchasing items to help increase how you play the game, and it doesn't ruin the fun of the game for me. =3 However, that's just my opinion on the subject.

I DID IT! Bwahahaha! - Hellfighter 17 - 01-11-2007

When I saw "grind" I thought you meant something else.

Nerds.

Oh my god, when I play rpgs I am a complete obsessive compulsive trainer! If my guys can't take out the boss within like three turns then I go and train for literally like 3 hours, it usually takes me roughly like 10 extra hours to beat every game I play because I always go so far above and beyond what the game difficulty expects of me.
