Left 4 Dead - Super Buu - 03-06-2007

If you can't be bothered to click the link, here's the basic rundown: it's an online co-op game where you're one of four survivors in generico zombie outbreak land. Basically you have to escape each map and make it through alive instead of killing everything. Emphasis is on teamwork, especially with bosses which might grab one player. Weaponry is super-basic.

I never got around to buying Resident Evil: Outbreak (the first was offline-only in the UK, and by the time File 2 rolled around I'd lost interest) so my curiosity is definitely piqued. It sounds like a riot. Anyone else thinking of getting this? We could set up some multiplayer parties.

Screw you, since I'm black I get to be the black guy or so help me I'll take this to the supreme court and get Al Sharpton to represent me! Looks pretty damn good, since I have no 360 I"ll buy it for PC...hopefully it's free to playonline or else I'm just gonna have to pass.

Being it is PC release, I'll definately play.

I never played Dead Rising but it seems to be similar just online play which will be fun.

Of course it won't be pay-to-play... Outside of the initial purchase, that is. That's the trademark of MMO's; I don't know a single 4-player online game that requires a monthly fee.

I'm actually pretty excited about this game.

I liked Resident Evil online, but after a while it became too predictable. Most of the time stuff was exactly the same, and if you had it down to a system, you were never in any real threat.

This game sounds like it's going to avoid that, with its Dungeon Master-esque AI running in the background and mixing things up.
