What a morning - Raz - 03-09-2007
Little back history about myself... on my mother's side of the family she has four brothers and a sister all but two brothers who have moved away and are no longer in contact with us. The two remaining do a wide array of drugs and leech off my grandmother who is pratically on her death bed while contributing nothing to maintaining the property, paying bills, or even supplying the house they share with my grandmother with any food. (There's three buildings on the property my grandfather built, the front house, a back house, and a garage. The garage of which has a small room which belongs to yours truly).
The two up front periodically invite their friends whom they've either met in jail or through street phramacists who have warrants for their arrest out as well as my uncles themselves. So apparently it was believed that one of these guys was staying up front or so the police believed which led to the obtaining of a search warrant of the premesis.
This was from my point of view...
It's five in the morning and I awake in my room in the garage to yelling and then dead silence... I look out my window to find a flashlight scanning the area which I'm not too sure about so I pull on a pair of jeans and a tanktop to go check it out. I duck under the window because I have no damn clue who it could be nevertheless if that light is attached to some gun and make it to the door.
Opening it, I step out then close before turning to the door leading out of the garage into the drive way. Within seconds I'm blinded by four new lights with someone yelling "Get the fuck on the ground!" now... I was fully compliant the second time he shouted, the first time I was still trying to get over the fact that I have four guns pointed at me. I get on the ground and am handcuffed, brought around to the front, and made to sit on bricks between the front and back house with my mother, father, and brothers handcuffed next to me.
They didn't find the guy because he was never there in the first place and ended up apologizing for "bad information" on their part.

I hesistate slightly opening doors now. o.o Think it was the whole 'sounding too much like a movie' thing that got me thinking "Are you fucking serious?" when they yelled at me.

But yeah, I should have, they put the damn cuffs on wrong and ripped a good sized cut on my wrist in the process. =[

I think if that was me in that situation I would have gotten killed, because flat out, if I encountered a situation like that that I knew nothing about regarding my safety or Erin's, I would have been standing next to the door with a bat or something heavy and waited for the door to open to bring it down on whatever did it, although if there were police lights or that many damn lights, yeah, I guess standing there going "Fuck." would have been best.
