*Snicker*

But what they don't tell you is after it's 0-60 it falls on it's face. Tongue

Plus 0-60 in 4 isn't that good for a supercar.

A Saleen S7 can do it in 2.8 seconds, and tops out at higher than 230 miles per hour, totally stock. Hell, even a 'Vette Z06 (less than 75k Canadian) will put down better 0-60 times than 4, and tops out around 198 mph. Not to mention it runs on gas, which won't burn off nearly as fast as a full-throttle battery powered vehicle will lose charge.

True.

But, it looks cooler than a Corvette and the hybridness is awesome for a treehugger like me . . .

0-60 isn't the point.

The thread title is "greatest" car ever. Not "most fuel efficient". ^_^

@Cargo: Better looking than a 'Vette? Well, everyone's got their own opinion, I guess...

I don't think 0-60 makes a great car. But I guess everyone has their own opinion.

1969 Shelby 'Stang, ftw.

I don't think that's the only thing, either. But considering that's the only thing - excluding "fuel" economy (which is important, too) - the website decided the car has going for it, I decided to focus on it. =\
