Side effects of drinking? - Grandpa Gohan - 04-01-2007
While I don't go drinking a whole lot(recently its been more however). The last time before last weekend was on New Years. I'm on the hefty side, so I can hold my liquor pretty well.
On New Years and then again on Friday night, after I had either stopped drinking completely or slowed down considerably, I was left with shooting pains down both my arms(mostly from my elbows to my wrist). I've asked both my parents and they havent heard of anything like it either.
I scarcely looked around on the internet for some stuff about it, but didnt really find anything. So, figuring that some of you might know/heard about it, I come here asking just that, anyone know whats up / heard about this from other people?
=( Im seriously considering going to the hospital to check with a doctor to make sure everything is alright, in-case its actually something else and I only notice it when I'm getting tipsy.

Hmm, you could be having an alergic reaction to it. I know a girl who can't drink alcohol without tylenol or her throat closes up. Try taking tylenol or benedril when you drink. (These two don't have any bad side effects with alcohol, so no worries there)

On New Years it was UV Blueberry Vodka + Minute Maid Fruit Punch.
On Friday was an assortment of things, UV Cherry Vodka + Cherry Pepsi, Captain Morgan + Cherry Pepsi[Or Pepsi, Lime juice, cherries], Shot bottle(the mini ones) of Black Cherry Vodka...
I've drank Vodka before New Years and then last weekend, nothing happened. So I'm doubting that it was a allergic reaction, though I will try that next time(took some Advil after I woke up because of the pain and it went away fairly fast once it kicked in[thank god])

Some people are allergic to specific types of alchohol. I have a friend that's just flat allergic period. Everytime he's tried to drink, he's broken out.

A friend of my sister is algeric to spirit's, and has a seizure if she touches them.
You should get it checked out thou man. Find what booze you can;t drink so you can return to the drunkness
