I get to my car this morning and there was a Master Sergeant in the Air Force waiting for me next to me car. He had pointed out that last night there was a Japanese female who drove a large white van and that she had backed up into the front of my car, and drove away. Luckily he had seen it and taken down the license plate number. So i looked at my car and was speechless, you all know how expensive my car is, and the damage was... not severe, but the cracks and dents are noticable. So I reported it to the Marine Military Police, and then the Air Force Police cuz I was in their jurisdiction, then reported it to the Okinawa City Police Department and they tracked down the japanese female. The vehicle was a company vehicle and their insurance company will pay for all of the repairs.
So I got to a car garage that I always go to for repairs and stuff and got an estimate. Everything that had a scratch, I told them I didn't want fixed, I wanted it to be replaced. Hmm... so it came out to be this:
Front Bumper for Body Kit: $1500
New FD3S Front Mount Intercooler: $1000
Custom Made Paint Job: $4000
The estimate was over 680,000 Yen which equals around $6,500...
So yeh, she backed up into the wrong car, needless to say their diving company will have to pay some hefty charges. I hope she gets fired... she never even said "sorry" either.
