The person who posts next determines whether or not you got the pin or the kickout.
That's what the whole 1... 2... is about.
You end with:
1...
2...
And the next person either says "3! New champ!" or "Kickout!"
Obviously, as champ, you'll wanna say kickout. But otherwise it's up to the next poster whether or not it's a pin or not
