I mean, MSN has some things that are -overly- flashy or elaborate, but AIM looks like it hasn't changed since 1975. =\
They both operate very well. In fact, AIM is less likely to crash - as far as I've experienced - but I rarely crash an IM more than once every month or so anyway, so it's hardly an issue, but I will admit it is annoying when the MSN server is offline for a half-hour period at a time.
