Just want some opinions on what the response to something like that would be. If it's good response, then maybe the staff'll try and make it happen in the future. Personally, I want it.

In fact, my first thought after I posted was "I need to elaborate."
But anyway.
So far, I've got a few thoughts:
-Alliances be called "Super Groups" (In Reference to Avengers, Fantastic Four, Thunderbolts, etc.)
-Canons or Customs or Both? (Hmm...)
-What Time Period? (Civil War, Post Civl War, Pre Civil War, etc.)
-Etc.
If canons were it, I would likely be either Venom, Spidey, or Hulk.
Also, statswise, I think that it would most likely work out something like this:
Strength
Dexterity
Constitution
Intelligence
Wisdom
Charisma
Like tabletop rpgs. Stats may help in different ways:
Strength = brute force.
Dexterity = agility, etc.
Constitution = ability to stay conscious
Intelligence = general smarts and technological aptness
Wisdom = general common sense and arcane aptitude
Charisma = Speaking skills
For example, if I was the Hulk, and I was playing him exactly like the comic, I might put more points into Strength and Constitution. Reed Richards, on the other hand, might benefit more from Intelligence; and Doctor Strange, perhaps, wisdom. Just some examples.

If you want a MArvel RPG site, I can hook you up. a few of my mates play on them. but there aren't any stats involved, it's down to how you your self act out the char you pick and the limit is on their abilities

I know that there are many Marvel characters to choose from, but it would be limiting it to that genre if we did that is what I'm saying, which was my question but I supposed you answered it. I donno, I would personaly rather keep it a DBZ site, but if you made a site similar to what your talking about I would probably take a look at it.

A Marvel RPG would be lame if people could build their own stats. Like Spiderman somehow getting strong enough to punch out Galactus... seeing that would make me wanna choke a bitch.
Stats for each character would either have individual limitations:

Strength: 4
Dexterity: 6
Constitution: 3
Intelligence: 6
Wisdom: 3
Charisma: 4
Spiderman's 'Potential Stats':
Strength: 12
Dexterity: 24
Constitution: 9
Intelligence: 24
Wisdom: 9
Charisma: 12
...permanent stats, only changeable through items and stuff like that, or no stats at all. The potential stats would be attained through accomplishments (quests, story arcs, etc.) and while you could build stats HOWEVER you want, once that stat reaches its maximum, you can't pump any more into it.
Canons only of course.
Civil War hasn't been over long enough in my opinion. And it seems like a lot of work. There is an Avenger's team for every state, and anyone that doesn't conform is automatically a villain. It would be nice, but would probably be better attained through a Civil War arc on the site itself.
Why limit to just Marvel? It should at least be Marvel and DC, with little easter egg places and characters (for instance, there should be a Basin City(Sin City), and a Maxx running around). Or perhaps just have joinees prove that the character they want is from a comic and go from there.
What would also be cool is having every character from Marvel/DC be NPCs until someone joins as that character.

Marvel RPG's have been tried with stat's, and been made painfully horrible.
You can't exactly have some one like Wolve kicking the crap outta Mag's, due to the fact that his "power" isn't as high.

The current Bujin and I had a Marvel website once, where you like, evolved powers rather than stats. Your power started in an earlier stage, and as you got stronger, you'd be awarded a higher form of that power. Like, in staff sagas or something.
