[PS] Bar/Theatre/Arcade - Burter - 05-08-2007

All official announcements will be here. This is also where you can relax and just enjoy the company of your fellow competitors

[PS] Bar/Theatre/Arcade - Celipa - 05-10-2007

"Stairs, stairs, stairs!"

Celipa sing-songed her way up three flights of stairs and drab white walls, cheerfully bouncing along as she ascended. Her destination was the bar: as soon as she heard that there was a bar here, she had sprung into action. Usually she wasn't a big drinker. But the slip of paper in her pocket that bore the number four marked acceptance into the game, and that was cause for celebration.

Finally she reached a door. A brown door, completely devoid of anything exciting. Even the handle was duller than usual, as its paint appeared to be chipping. Nothing could down on Celipa's spirits however, and she turned it with her typical wide grin, stepping into the bar which was bustling with the large amount of activity she had expected. The cheerful saiyan made a beeline for the counter.

"Um, gimme that kinda thing. That you give people. With alcohol in it!" she chimed to a rather greasy looking man standing behind the counter. He was rubbing off the inside of a dirty mug with one his grubby hands, and turned up from his business.

"Here ya go," he grunted, after filling up yet another dirty looking mug. He slid it across the counter-top to her.

"Err, thanks."

Celipa stared at it a minute. THIS was beer? It didn't look nearly as glorious and golden as it did on the commercials. Even its fizz appeared lesser than it did on Earth commercials. She lifted it up above her head and stared quizzically at the bottom of the mug, hoping for something a bit more glorious than what was actually there, like a winning lottery ticket pinned on it or something. But she had no such luck.

"Oh," she muttered, kind of let down. "Oh well, I guess. Down the hatch!"

She opened up her mouth and took a hearty swig out of the mug, and gagged as she choked down the liquid. As it went all the way down into her belly she let out a spluttering noise, shaking her head violently like a dog shaking off particularly unpleasant wetness.

"Gross!" she exclaimed.

A few males' heads turned, all of which bearing looks of disbelief and even incredulity. Their GOD!? The beer!? Being put down by a mere woman?

"Sorry guys," she said, making a face at the beer as she pushed it away. "I guess this isn't my thing."

She stood up from the counter, still making her gross-out face as she found a seat at an empty table in the corner. Laying her head down in her arms as she sat, she closed her eyes serenely.

"Meditation will toss off that bad karma," she muttered. "Knew I shouldn't have tasted that crap."

[PS] Bar/Theatre/Arcade - Olibu - 05-10-2007

Unpleasant; the only words one could use to describe the stench that was aloft the bar room. However, to many a nose the stench had fallen upon impaired receptors, warriors cared not for the pleasantries of a smell. And though he did not share this ignorance the rest of the fighters bestowed there he sat. Beautiful blonde hair ensnared within a mangy red hat as the fighter refused to allow his morals and values challenge his desire for the whiskey.

?Why you don?t seem to be enjoying yourself at all? the brisk soothing sound of a female?s voice broke into the drunker stir that was Olibu?s head. Amplified by his intoxication Olibu observed that she was a very beautiful woman, but paid no mind. He wasn?t here for women, he knew that much. Just what he was here for, he knew not, but it was certainly not for the skirts.

?Must people at these shindigs are happy, celebrating even. Brutes like yourself come here for the blood sport, not to drink away sorrows. What?s got you down?? Olibu began to say something, but the words were drowned out by the alcohol he indulged in.

?Hey sweet cheeks, over here?

?Ugh, asshole. Well, I had better get to that, so when you feel like stringing those words together to have a conversation, let me know.?

Just like that she was gone, but Olibu didn?t mind, in fact he was pleased. Without her he could continue to drink himself far into the unconscious state, which was just fine with him. The blonde raised his glass to his lips allowing the fluid to slosh into his mouth, as well as dampening the bar.

Then it came. Sounds he was all to familiar with, the sounds of the world he had awoken to just one year ago.

?Let go of me. I?ll get your order, just take your hands off me.? The female?s voice came once more, ?You damned fighters have no manors.?

?Oh baby, I like it when they play hard to get.?

?Stop it, you?re hurting me!?

The man who had wrapped his rather massive fingers around the waitress?s wrists tugged on her, forcing her upon his lap. ?Now what do you say you give daddy a kiss?? he spoke with a drunken haze which was followed by laughter and nasty gestures with his tongue.

?I believe the woman said no, sir,? the words flowed out of Olibu?s mouth with great ease, as though they had finally found their home. The man tilted his head at the blonde fighter and just laughed. He then proceeded to slide his hand up the woman thigh, which did little for Olibu?s anger.

?I said let her go.?

?Oh Mr. big shot! You gonna make me?? the man finally paying attention to Olibu spoke as he tossed the woman to the side. The man arose to his feet, standing an impressive 6?7 with an odor twice that size.

?Now, I don?t want any trouble.? Olibu managed to say just as his breath was taken from him by the man?s massive fist slamming into Olibu?s stomach.

?Too bad, cause trouble you?ve got. So what are you gonna do about it??

Olibu, who had buckled over to gasp for air, returned to his posture and stared into the wild eyes of the oaf. The man looked right back, absent of any intimidation and smirked, ?That?s what I thought, you?re a pussy.?

Just as he finished he applied force to the jaw structure of Olibu, impaling it with a clobber knocker of a punch. The blow left the blonde hero upon his back with a serious tooth ache. ?She ain?t shit to get yourself beat up over. Ain?t nothing but a whore anyway.? The brute spoke as he exited the bar, accompanied by Olibu?s dignity and pride.

(Didn't wanna bug ya without askin ya Celipa, you can interact with me if ya want, anyone can.)

[PS] Bar/Theatre/Arcade - Bujin - 05-10-2007

This the place?

Bujin sighed as he faced an obnoxiously long flight of stairs. The memory of having gotten there in the first place had escaped his memory, but it didn?t matter at that point. As he peered up the opening, he noticed black marks that resembled finger prints on the pale white walls. Logic said that it was something a child would do, but observation noted that the prints were too high. Bujin merely shrugged off his acute sense of sight and slowly lifted a foot to meet the wooden stair above it. The action killed him a little inside because he hated stairs. Hell, he hated walking, which was a fault that he made a mental note to correct for the events to come.

?Hell if I know,? Bujin muttered, speaking up to the cheerful voice as he continued his steady climb, ?Keep in mind that I have no idea where I?m going.?

Rae giggled innocently in response. Bujin chuckled in kind as he continued his struggle against the wooden behemoth. The flight of steps never seemed to dwindle, or at least it didn?t seem so to the small man. Finally, with a triumphant smirk, he reached the top of the stairs and did a small arm pump in celebration. Jumping up and down, he punched the air and hummed a victory song to himself. However, he heard a sound that soon made him grind his teeth.

Ahem, Rae cleared her throat; There are more stairs behind you.

Bujin turned slightly and saw another obstacle to his immediate left.

?Son of a bitch!? Bujin sighed loudly after he screamed.

Rae giggled once again. The blue man mumbled to himself with half a mind to shoot a deadly glare at the chick voice ? that is, if there was something to glare at. So, to make up for it, he shot an angry squint at the nearest person. To his surprise, however, it was a familiar figure. A female saiya-jin was standing at the top of what he was sure was the end of the stairs. She was staring into the room beyond, and judging by the smell and the drunken shouts that emitted, it was a bar.

?Celipa?? Bujin asked hesitantly, reluctant to take the risk of bothering someone that he didn?t know. The woman jumped ever-so-slightly, and turned around. Before she could even make a reaction, Bujin continued his trek up the wooden steps. This was for the best. Even if this wasn?t Celipa, the small man had a fresh person to hit on, and that ain?t bad.

[PS] Bar/Theatre/Arcade - Bra - 05-10-2007

Re-materializing after having your very molecular structure torn to shreds and pieced together by a precise series of digital instruments absolutely sucked. Just like every other time she?d used one of the insidious machines, Bra was left with a raging headache, whose jackhammer strikes could fell even the strongest building.

Maybe it had to do with her distrust of the machinery. It was a derivative of several Capsule Corporation?s scientific breakthroughs, but even so; if it were to ever fail or operate incorrectly, it could either kill someone in transport or cause them to outright cease to exist, perhaps even worse than that.

Regardless, she was in the sprawling compound that was the Dante?s Abyss waiting area. She wasn?t sure if it was in orbit, or hidden somewhere on a planet, since this year?s location hadn?t yet been divulged to her.

The cyan haired heiress stalked between gaps in the throng of warriors who had gathered, and caught sight of a sign suspended from the ceiling a fair distance into the lobby. It offered locations for the warriors to visit, including helpful arrows to point everyone in the right directions, much like the signs often seen in airports.

One interesting sign read ?Bar, Theater, and Arcade.? Bra flashed a smirk; bars were a hotbed for idiocy and over-inflated egos. It would be fun to silence a few blowhards before the competition began. A little fear would do them good.

Marching up a set of stairs, the slender halfling found herself at the bar?s entrance. Pushing open the door, she walked in just in time to see a drunken, blond mountain of a man laid low from a brutal punch to the jaw.

The man standing over him was even larger - the perfect target. Gliding through the crowd, and attracting a few looks from several competitors along the way, the empress placed herself just in front of the towering aggressor.

?You think you?re pretty tough, eh?? Bra spoke with the slightest hint of venom behind her words. A sinister smirk played across her visage as the warrior guffawed at the comment.

?I jus? dropped that punk bitch. Yeah, I guess I am pretty tough.? he retorted.

?Be careful!! He- He-? cried the waitress.

?Shut up, slut!!? retorted the monstrous barfly. That comment struck a nerve. The hybrid reached out, gently brushing her fingertips along the warrior?s bicep, before driving her knee deep into his gut, doubling him over as the air in his lungs rushed out of his filthy mouth.

?She didn?t do anything to you, you worthless piece of shit.? Bra icily declared, before bringing her elbow down on the man?s back, slamming him into the floor. She spat on the fallen fighter, and then turned her attention on the blond man.

?Picked the wrong fight, I guess?? the teal haired princess inquired, extending her hand to the recovering bodybuilder. The man obliged, putting his own hand in her grip. Bra hauled him to his feet, and on wobbly legs, the blond warrior refused to fall back down.

?He did it to protect me, actually.? the waitress interjected, offering the man a smile of thanks before returning to her duties. The saiyan-human cross cringed at the smell emanating from the man she?d just helped up; he was very obviously drunk.

?I figured you just picked a fight you couldn?t win. I guess he sucker-punched you, huh?? Bra wondered aloud. ?Well, I was going to drop you along with him, but... well, you?re lucky you were trying to do the right thing. Even if you suck at it.?

?I?m... not drunk.? the man finally managed to retorted, slurring his speech as he spoke. Evidently the rest of the conversation had completely gone over his head, which was fine. The princess didn?t take an immediate dislike to the man, and he had displayed traits of nobility.

?I?ll bet. What?s your name, hm?? Bra suddenly demanded. The blond fighter nearly recoiled at the comment, but suddenly his composure came rushing back to him, snapping him out of his stupor, if not for but a moment.

?I am Olibu. And you are...??

?Bra.? the half-blood replied, short and cutting, as if to say ?don?t even think about making fun of my name.? Either Olibu picked up the hint, or didn?t have any reason to make fun, because his expression didn?t change in the slightest.

?Well... Bra. Do you drink?? he kindly asked, taking a seat and extending his hand as a gesture for the girl to sit down as well. The teal haired fighter complied, though she made her response with an obvious degree of hesitation.

?I, uh... not really. What?s... good?? inquired the princess as her cheeks flushed, matching the color of her clothes.

?Not much of a drinker, huh? Well, can I order something for you to try?? Olibu suddenly demanded. Bra nodded, mumbling her response inaudibly. ?Excuse me!? the muscle-bound blond waved down a waitress. ?Can I get a whiskey double and... I guess a... spiced rum and coke for the lady. Not too much rum, though.?

?Uh, yeah, sure.? replied the barmaid with a smile, before heading off to fill the order. The halfling silently wondered just what the hell Olibu had ordered for her, but she most certainly wasn?t going to act like she didn?t know. Instead, she waited for him to change the subject.

[PS] Bar/Theatre/Arcade - Olibu - 05-11-2007

?So tell me, what?s a girl like you doing in a place like this?? Olibu questioned the cyan haired fighter as the barmaid returned with the drinks. The female arched an eyebrow at her drink, obviously puzzled by its containments, but quickly disbanded her expression to hide her ignorance of the ale.

?That?s a little clich? don?t you think?? she muttered as she raised her drink to her lips. Olibu, who had missed most of the romantic novels of the last century, couldn?t fathom what was clich? about his question and just skipped right on passed it, ?I meant to say? this is a rough life, this fighting. Why do you do it??

As the liquid subside slowly into her mouth her eyes began to squint and she forced the flow to stop, but quickly, as to cover up her distaste of it, she began to slam the rest of it. As she finished her last gulp she allowed a sharp remark to cut into the warm greeting of the too fighters, ?Are you trying to say that I?m incapable of such a life? What too pretty? Are you one of those types that think women are weak and need a man to stand up for them? Is that why you just got your clock cleaned by that thug??

?No? No, that?s not what I meant at all,? he began, hesitant not to anger the ill tempered female, ?I?m most certain that you can handle yourself, I would hate to be on the receiving end of one of your blows. I just mean that when you indulge in this kind of lifestyle, it changes you. Your heart is in the right place I would guess, but wear and tear can get to anyone; so much bloodshed, and for what? A trophy and 15 minutes reruns on the tb.?

?Tb? Do you mean T.V.??

?Uhh, it plays pictures??

?Yea, it?s T.V.,? a smile appeared upon her face as she continued, ?Sorry, I guess I?m a little defensive to those I don?t know. You sound like you don?t really want to be here, let alone fight.? she spoke with a very drastic change in tone from before; a much softer tone. Olibu chose not to respond to her comment; he instead prodded at the cut just above the eye. Noticing, Bra spoke up again ?That looks like it hurts.?

?Well, it certainly doesn?t tickle.?

[PS] Bar/Theatre/Arcade - Grandpa Gohan - 05-12-2007

Grandpa Gohan stepped into to tube and was immediately whisked far away from his home planet of earth. Being discombobulated and then reconstructed didn?t really do anything to him, other than give him a slight headache. He stepped out into a lobby of sorts, signs hung over head indicating different parts of the building where fighters could gather. He eyed them over, one caught his interest, and more than a few others probably.

He made his way over to a set of stairs, over them a sign read ?Bar, Theater, and Arcade?. Gohan sighed but ultimately knew the trek up the stairs would benefit him, not only would he get some exercise, but he?d have a chance to meet some of the other fighters, even if their egos were over-inflated.

He made his way up the stairs at his own pace, which resembled more of a snails pace than an old mans, though both were quite slow. While he ascended the stairs he had plenty of time to think back on the past couple months of the old mans life.

He had been in Conquest, part of the faction Dante, who had won the tournament. Yet despite the overall win, he himself had been eliminated. Axle, the kid who had saved him from an earlier defeat and elimination, had been taken from him by the large explosion which annihilated Hyperton Fortress and many people along with it.

Gohan was pretty good at letting things go, yet the image of one thing was seared into his thoughts and memories forever; Cell Junior. The Commander of the Outcast Army and creature that shared his demise at Sanguine Castle. His disrespect for life and anyone who got in his way perturbed the old man something awful. If there was anyone in this competition that the old man wanted to kill, it was the small blue bug.

The elderly man had become lost in his thoughts, and when he finally snapped back to reality, he was coming up on a bland looking door. It was the final obstacle before the bar. He turned the handle and made his way in, the foul stench of the room engulfing his sense of smell. The room was buzzing and there were more than a few warriors there of both genders.

The room was well lit despite being a bar and was rather spacious. Tables were scattered about and many people were already drunk. Gohan-jiisan thought to himself that a drunkard would get no where in this competition. Then again, he had thought that about kids and had been proven wrong before. Laid out on the floor was a large rather large fellow, no doubt a small brawl had broken out before he had arrived. The bar was made of a fine wood and nicely polished. On the back wall were many bottles of all types of liquor. They had a wide assortment of beers on tap as well.

Gramps decided to quickly scan the room, one face immediately stuck out. The face of a saiyan female which he had seen in pre-show Conquest. Celipa, he had overheard her name, but never had the chance to formally introduce himself. He didn?t notice anyone from Dante as of yet, but as more people signed up, that would probably change.

His pace was even slower after walking up the stairs but he managed to make his way to the bar. The bartender was much younger than the last that he had encountered and was not nearly as groomed as the last either and had an overall greasy appearance.

Gohan turned in his seat so he was facing the room; he scanned it over again. There was a small blue man that he recognized from the Conquest pre-show, though he hadn?t the faintest clue as to what his name was. Kind of off by themselves, there was a muscular looking man with long flowing blonde locks, and he was talking to a rather young looking female. She had straight teal hair and deep blue eyes.

?Tch, more kids.? He muttered.

?Could I get you something, sir?? questioned a voice from behind him.

It was the greasy looking bartender.

?The str-? he stopped, remembering the drink that the elderly bartender had given him; ?I?ll take a glass of cold milk? and a Tylenol.?

?Sure thing mister.?

He grabbed a glass and a half gallon of milk from under the counter and proceeded to fill it. On the counter at the bar resided a small white bottle with a red cap. He swiped it and removed two of the pills that were in it.

?Here you are, sir.? He said, placing the glass and the medicine on the counter.

?Well at least he had good manners?? Gramps thought to himself.

?Thanks.? He said politely.

He popped the small tablets into his mouth and took a swig of milk to wash them down with. When he was done he had a milk mustache, though it was cleverly hidden amongst his facial hair.

ooc: If anyone wants to interact with me, please do so.

[PS] Bar/Theatre/Arcade - Banned Doma - 05-12-2007

Doma took his time walking all of the steps up to the nearest room he had seen available to the open public. He heard the sounds of electronics and could detect a faint electronic hum in this direction, so he headed there in hopes of finding a place to gather information and meditate before the big competition.

The large, spacious room was already occupied by many other competitors, large and tall, wide and thin, light and dark. Many of them seemed to be steeling themselves for the competition ahead, while some just seemed to be taking the opportunity to lounge around. A select few, however, didn't have the funds to funnel into the bar or arcade, so they just chatted to one another about how well they thought they would each do.

Doma found a nice, quiet spot to sit down at, on a bean bag in the corner of the room. His back was to a wall, which he felt was the safest in an unknown environment, and took out a small book he had in his pocket. Opening it up and leafing through several pages that already had words written on it in a tongue unfamiliar to all but maybe a select few in the room, stopping when he found a blank page. Opening his palm, a pen popped out of nowhere and he began writing in it.

He was so engrossed in whatever he was writing that he had not noticed when one of the patrons of the bar had come up on him, trying to look over his shoulder. The man smelled strongly of alcohol, so much that anyone would know he was drunk even if they missed the flushed cheeks and the glazed expression in his eyes. The man wore a grease-stained T-shirt with the kanji for 'Bad' on the front and he was leering uncomfortably close to Doma by the time the young elf noticed.

"Umm, excuse me sir, could you please back away a little bit?" he asked, turning his eyes back to his book as if expecting the man to comply immediately. The look on the large oaf's face was that of curiousity, slowly changing into a look of rage as it finally dawned on him that his looming so closely to the young man was an unwelcomed advance.

Stumbling off and muttering something under his breath, the man staggered away to bother someone else, leaving the busy little elf to finish his writing, put the pen in his spot in the book, then put it back in the small bag at his waist. Leaning back, he rested his hands in his arms and watched the people around him. Despite having such an eagerness to learn about these new people, he was very tired from his trip and could only sigh with the regret of the lost opportunity as his eyelids became too heavy to bear and he fell into a light slumber.

[PS] Bar/Theatre/Arcade - Orion - 05-12-2007

Molecules materialised, recomposing from the amazing technology that the telepod possessed. In a few moments Koola was complete again, his eyes refocusing from blurred vision. Rubbing his bony scalp, he stepped off, lest he be telefragged by another creature warping through.

The changeling prince came to an information sign, showing a colour coded map with a legend describing each area in detail. There was a dojo... nah, he wasn't in the mood to fight just yet. Beyond that was a museum... again, a history lesson would only serve to bore him. He wasn't sleepy, so that ruled out the living quarters. That left one option.

Plodding down the staircase, Koola was hit by a wave of foul, nose burning odours. Several smokers in the vicinity let their nicotine based stench waft around as carelessly as those spilling their drinks did. Obnoxious hooting and discussion filled his ears, spanning from who was going to dominate Dante's Abyss to how much cash it would take to get the cute waitress to remove her top. Koola snorted in contempt. This place had the same atmosphere as a generic Saiyan bar.

Sucking in his last untainted breath, he descended into the bar, deciding that he would not breathe while inside. His race was just so composed that breathing was merely a luxury, not a need. Spotting a seat at the bar that seemed furtherest away from the mindless banter and cigarette smoke, he made his way there hastily and sat down.

"What can I get you?" the moustached bartender asked as the changeling made himself comfortable.

Koola cocked an eyebrow. "I don't drink."

"Really? Well that's a first," he said as he stroked his handle bars. "Is there anything I can get you?"

He pondered for a moment. "Milk. A nice cold glass of milk."

"Now there's a warrior's drink."

Koola eyed the human next to him where the comment had originated. A long purple robe covered his body, concealing whatever frame the old man had. He gently pulled his long white beard off the bar and let it dangle into his lap. Holding an empty glass with translucent milk running down the inside, he looked at the changeling.

"Do I know you?" the prince inquired nonchalantly.

"No, but you didn't order a drink. That makes you different. Different than all the others here."

"Yes I did. I ordered milk."

"I meant alcohol," Grandpa Gohan said in an annoyed tone. "Everyone else here is chugging down the booze, while you opt for milk. Why?"

The bartender firmly placed Koola's glass of milk on the table and slid it over to him. Without a word, the Icer took it and sipped from it. "Because that stuff reminds me of Saiyans. And I refuse to drop to their level. I don't want to act like them." There was a moment's pause before the Icer spoke again. "Why are you interested, anyway?"

The elderly man shrugged. "Just making conversation, I suppose. You're probably the only sober one here." Gramps stroked his beared before continuing. "So if alcohol reminds you of the Saiyans, why did you walk into a bar?"

Koola finished drinking his milk and slammed the glass on the bar. "What's with the inquisition, old man?"

Gohan's eyes widened slightly. The changeling unintentionally just hit one of the seasoned fighter's buttons.

"Old man?"

[PS] Bar/Theatre/Arcade - Bra - 05-12-2007

An uncomfortable silence fell over the pair for a few moments. Bra toyed with the small, empty glass which had contained her drink, while Olibu appeared to stare at the ceiling for a moment, either deep in thought, or merely deeply bored.

?I don?t fight for tournaments, you know.? the princess stated suddenly.

?Huh?? the blond haired warrior appeared to snap back into the conversation, immediately returning his gaze to the one speaking to him.

?I?m not in this for some trophy, or some stupid-ass prize. Those morons who watch this contest don?t mean shit to me, you understand?? Bra leaned in over the table. ?I?m here... because I really, really want to hurt a couple of the contestants this year.?

Leaving him with the bizarre and rather unnerving comment, the teal haired hybrid pushed herself away from the table and strode out of the bar, without even so much as a glance over her shoulder to the one she?d been speaking to.

Heading out into the hall, Bra found herself attracted to the flashing lights and obnoxious sounds of a sprawling arcade located just down and across from the bar. It was a sprawling maze of games, machines, and people, all vying for supremacy in a series of virtual competitions.

The heiress walked in, eyes widening in amazement. Strobe lights and lasers created a very futuristic air about the complex, while the buzz of conversation rose over the sounds of the machines.

The crowd in here was decidedly young compared to the one in the bar, but all were still warrior-like in appearance. Fighters her age. Easier to come by now, thanks to her aging having been accelerated during the freak accident in the Room of Spirit and Time. Still, it was startling, not being the youngest in a given competition of strength.

Bra stumbled across one machine in particular, which had a huge crowd around it. One of the players immediately looked up, his expression turning to one of recognition. He pointed her out to a friend, and they immediately waved her down.

?Hey! Hey, you?re in this game!!? he exclaimed. The game - called ?Dante?s Abyss ?06? - appeared to be a fighting game based on the competitors of last year?s event. The crowd made way for Bra, who stepped up to the machine, bewildered by the fact that these strangers knew who she was.

?Come on! I wanna play you, ?kay?? insisted one of the gamers, clad in a blue karate gi. The demi saiyan offered a nervous mumble in reply, but took her position at one of the two control set-ups.

Immediately, the game switched to a player select screen, and, to Bra?s dismay, her opponent selected Raditzu as his player. The empress decided, considering she was a character in the game, that she?d do best as herself. Thus, she selected ?Bra?, and the game instantly shot through a loading screen and into combat.

While the princess was trying to adjust to the game, her opponent began clobbering her virtual self into oblivion. Accidentally, the girl activated her kienzan daggers, which slashed the digital Raditzu and sent him flying backwards.

Immediately, the blue-clad gamer mashed a button, causing his character to ascend to Super Saiyan 2, garnering a poignant ?what the fuck?!? from the cyan haired warrior. Unable to keep up with her opponent?s massively increased speed and strength, her life bar quickly drained to zero, and a ?Finish Her? message scrolled across the screen.

A series of button presses caused Raditzu to tear off Bra?s head, leaving her bloody corpse to collapse onto the floor. Crimson fluid pooled out on the floor while the princess frowned at the sight.

?That?s not gonna happen again.? the hybrid growled.

?What? You want a rematch?? retorted the boy in the karate gi.

?Yeah. Well... maybe. Just... not with you,? the halfling replied. ?Sorry I didn?t do so good; I never played that game before.?

Marching off to one of many lounges placed into the arcade, Bra collapsed into a chair. She leaned back, legs crossed, and closed her eyes. Noises from games and people echoed in all directions, and the empress still managed to fall asleep.

?Hmph.? Exosus stated almost immediately. Bra took a step back, before realizing she was in the false reality created by her subconscious. Yet again.

?What do you want now?? the princess demanded, almost in exasperation.

?Nothing. I?ve got what I wanted; I don?t need anything else,? the robed version of Bra crossed her arms with a smirk. ?But I wonder... have you got what you need??

?What the fuck does that mean?? Bra retorted in exasperation. She was tired of her doppelganger?s ceaseless mind games.

?It means, are you really prepared to follow through? Winning DA, killing the changelings, saving your race, and then... whatever may come. You really up to it with so little help?? Exosus pried.

?Are you asking for more power over me? ?Cause you?re not getting it.? Bra snarled.

?No, no! Just... forget it. Wake up.? and the dream ended. Bra was back in the arcade, further perturbed by Exosus' increasing... weirdness.

[PS] Bar/Theatre/Arcade - Celipa - 05-13-2007

"Bujin!"

Celipa drank in her small blue friend's exotic appearance with an exuberance even more over the top than her usual, and flung her arms around him as he reached the tip-top of the stairs. He had a wide grin on his face as she clung to him, and for a second she had forgotten his perversion completely out of sheer joy he was by her, and that she was no longer alone.

...but it could only last so long. She forced him away and grinned widely.

"I was just about to leave this smelly drunk-haven until you traipsed up here! I should've known that if you were going to be here that this was the first place you'd go!" she exclaimed, chuckling at her friend's expense.

Bujin stared silently a moment before letting out a quiet nervous laugh.

"Yeah, it's good to see you too," he stated, glancing past her. "Let's go get some beer."

Celipa shrugged and followed the petit blue man who had taken a lead on her into the bar with far less enthusiasm than him. She had no idea how Bujin was able to stomach something so disgusting as beer.

She picked out a table as Bujin dragged back two large mugs beer from the counter and grinned widely as he slammed the large behemoths of alcohol down on the tabletop. Before she could strike up a conversation, he raised up a finger to indicate the need for momentary silence. With only the sound of other drunken morons to cover up Bujin's gulping of beer, Celipa sighed and shoved her own mug away a bit.

The little blue man put his empty mug back on hard wood and shifted his glance to Celipa's drink.

"You gonna drink that?" he asked, raising an eyebrow.

The saiyaness grimaced and replied simply: "It's all yours."

[PS] Bar/Theatre/Arcade - Tobias - 05-13-2007

Garlic's muscles felt like coiled snakes. Cobras ready to strike. But there was nothing to strike at yet, no prey, only oceans of amber could ease the tension, injected in ounces a shot.

?'Nother one, pretty.? The barmaid let a grin dance on her face. Those dimples were worth killing for.

?You sure, hun? I don't think you'll win the competition all drunk like.? But she poured him another round anyways. So nice of her.

?Am I ugly?? The question had the same effect as if Garlic had tried to punch her in the face. Surprise jerked her head back and a little bit of the whiskey sloshed over the bar.

?I... you have this very unique look about you,? she mumbled, not meeting the Goblin's gaze. Instead she made a production of getting a rag and cleaning up the spilled drink.

?What I mean,? Garlic slurred, ? is could someone like you... ever love something like me. Is this all I have? Fighting and booze. What a life.? Alcohol and emotion mingled, making a tingling sensation in his chest, and it wasn't pleasant.

?Aren't there... you know... others of your kind?? She still did not meet him eye to eye, and now a bit of pity entered her voice. Annoyance burned away some of the tingling in his chest. He didn't need her pity! He was Garlic Junior! He was... nothing. Maybe he was pitiable. Just a drunk little green man. Garlic dug a palm into his eyes. The corners were starting ache.

?There are.? He answered at length, and with a hint of a defensive tone he added, ?I was quite popular at home. A prince. I left them because... well I left them.? She didn't need his life story, and he wasn't sure he could handle more pity.

?If ya don't have anything here... why not go home.? She was still drying the bar even though death valley had more moisture at this point. The goblin chuckled at her response, though. He had burned every bridge possible on his way to this dimension.

?Thats not possible. I couldn't go back. They wouldn' have me after...? Garlic downed his shot and washed away the memories that tried floating up.

?No one ever choked to death swallowing his pride, y'know.? Garlic had a good and deep laugh at that, and tears started to roll. He couldn't tell if it was mirth or sadness, but they stopped as suddenly as they began.

?I guess its true, then. Fighting is all I have left.?

?Now I didn't say that! Just cause your not my type...? Garlic stumbled to his feat and walked away.

?I've had enough angst, pretty. Time to kick someones ass.? The greening walked down the hall with a grin that defied his earlier mood. He couldn't afford self pity, and there was only one other way to release this tension. The doors of the dojo squeaked to announce his arrival.

ooc: now in the Dojo

[PS] Bar/Theatre/Arcade - Bujin - 05-13-2007

?And you know?? Bujin hiccupped, causing him to stop mid-sentence. He frowned, looked up at his Saiya-jin friend, and continued, ?I can?t remember what I was about to say.?

Celipa shrugged and flicked a few stray peanuts from the top of the bar. Bujin chuckled and slapped her on the shoulder, not even considering the fact that she could possibly have lost interest in his elaborate, yet totally made-up war story. Just as he was about to continue, however, a familiarly painful buzzing enveloped his mind. As few scattered voices were sounded softly in the background. They seemed to be displeased with something, and if they really were just figments of his now-drunken imagination, it was doubtful that they knew what they were shouting about. Bujin sure as hell didn?t.

Looking up, the small man saw something that didn?t belong there. Instead of seeing the happy bartender with a red vest standing there, he saw a happy man in a chicken suit. The buzzing increased in volume as the bottles behind the enormous chicken gradually turned into cartoon-like pigeons singing something about popcorn. Bujin shook his head, but to no avail. The annoyingly harmful sound remained, and the chicken-man tried to ignite a conversation with a single cluck.

?well, that?s messed up, Rae inserted, her voice fluttering with laughter, You really ought to stay away from booze.

Bujin winced and slammed his head on the bar. Rae was a friendly enough voice, but that was all she was. Right? Bujin had never seen her before. She wasn?t a person. She was an idea. The blue man gritted his teeth. Was this really the alcohol kicking in, or was it his overly-vivid imagination? The buzzing got louder. And louder. Louder still. Finally?

The noise stopped, and was replaced with the sound of Celipa?s voice.

?Are you?okay?? she asked, sitting up in her chair and voicing genuine concern. Bujin raised his head, and looked around. The bartender seemed to have lost his chicken suit, and the birds returned the bottles.

?Yeah?yeah, I?m fine,? he hiccupped again, the rush of gas hurting his chest a bit, ?It?s?just a painful memory.?

?I bet,? she clicked her tongue, ?Okay, so you were charging the front lines on a pony, right? What happened then??

Yeah, Bujin, Rae commented teasingly, What happened?

Bujin sighed, and struggled off of his stool.

?Maybe?another time. I need to get out of here.?

[PS] Bar/Theatre/Arcade - Retane - 05-13-2007

"We are not the same, Me and you, Retane." Enroshia sat with his legs crossed, his head hung low. His voice was unsteady with what seemed to be a mixture of sadness, pain, and anger. The emerald mercenary looked from the sky towards the long white haired ally. The two had crossed planes, into a whole different universe, and the slug was cautious of the new enviroment. He was unsure about the elvish warrior's intentions and hadn't come to fully trust him. Letting out a heavy breath, the alien turned to acknowledge the back of his accomplace.

"You are evil and wicked, heartless even", continued the distraught warrior. " You kill without a second thought, those you let survive after confration are either cause their weakness bores you, you want them to suffer, or you have to. I kill only to protect or I have to. Rogues and mercenaries we bothmay be called, but different we truly are. I am what I am by force and treachery and betrayal. You choose to do this freely. You are different from your main race, but so are others. You do not see them all killing relentlessly without heart like yourself. I, myself do not kill unless I must or see it needed for my situation."

The jade fighter showed no retaliation to the remark as he knew it was true. He had he reasons for such a thing and cared not for another's feelings on how he handled his own business. He was alive so he had to be doing something right. Even the after life had incorporated him into their dealings. Heaven and Hell both had recruited him together to kill and save. It was those of that plane that Enroshia worked for unwillingly and te mercenary had begun to understand that he hated it.

Never had he cared about what others thought. He had no plans to do it now.

"But the excitement and yearn for adventure, we have in common", added the warrior as he rose and turned to look at the green humanoid slug.

---------------------------------------------------

The mercenary walked quietly into the crowded tavern and removed his mask, squinting as he forced his sight to become aquanited with the dim lit room. His eyes darted to and fro, looking for a familiar face or anything that could gain his interest. His first glance proved useless, as he only found the usual events going on. He did note that the place was quite larger then a typical bar but understood that there would probably be need for such excessive room.

The emerald renegade placed his mask about his belt and stalked onward, scouting the area out as he went. He recognized no faces of last years event or of Conquest and pondered the question of 'How many people actually repeated the events?' He paused for a moment only to buckle as something collided with the back of his legs. The rogue turned around, ready to strike only to catch the glimpse of a small boy.

The two stared eye to eye for a moment before the namekian snarled, "Watch it kid."

"Kid?" Mumbled the half saiyan knowing it wasnt his fault that the taller figure had stopped abruptly. "I bet I could show you a thing or two."

Retane looked at the young boy, not knowing what to think. He had seen stronf younglings before but had no real issue with them in a fight and thought about a fight for a moment. He could end the young bouys life quickly or perhaps have a challenge and learn a bit more. He had an excuse if the kid couldn't stand a simple wave blast so perhaps he might do so. His body needed the refreshment anyways.

"Want to prove..." The mercenary stopped for a moment. His eyes caught sight of the one that had beaten him last year. His hand immedeatley reachedfor the Card of Destiny upon his belt. He paused for a moment, knowing he couldn't kill the human known as Obilu so bluntly at the time. The female with him looked familiar but younger. Perhaps the cyan haired woman and Bulma were related?

The mercenary pushed past the boy and moved onward in the direction of the two. His lust for vengance boiling.

[PS] Bar/Theatre/Arcade - Retane - 05-13-2007

:::Flashback:::

"Take this." The Plane Walker tossed two dark red gauntlets to the emerald slug, who in turn, caught them and looked downward at the newly acquired objects. From the looks of it, they clasped around the wrists and projected something out of them. Desiring answers the rogue looked up at his companion, confused.

"They told me to assist you",came the swordsmen as he answered the silent question, "I thought that perhaps those weapons would do part of the job. Each cuff holds ten daggers that can be loosed at the simple flick of a wrist. Certainly someone that weilded them with skill could become even more dangerous." The elvish warrior turned and walked off leaving a fiinal trail of words, "Put them one and let us begin."

Begin? The mercenary hadn't quite figured out what they were to be doing and started after the quickly dissapearing silhouette. As he reached the area he had last spotted the pale humanoid, the jade fighter paused, sensing that something was not right. His eyes shifted about, darting quickly to and fro, hunting for some clue. The dimension they were in seemed to be nothing more then a long stretch of dim darkness.

Wasting little time the gauntlets were firmly placed upon the warriors wrists. He looked about the area, once more scouting for danger. It was then that a slender blade came at him, aiming directly for his eyes. The rogue leapt back but wasn't fast enough to make it unscathed. A clean, yet wicked gash was left upon his cheek, his own blood beginging its warm trickle down the side of his face.

The renegade still had his senses though, and with the flick of a wrist, he let one of the daggers fly. Enroshia, though was no novice and deflected the blade with his own scimitar. The alein gritted his teeth in anger, realizing that he had made a mistake, for the cuffs had belonged to Enro and he would already know all about them and how they were used. He knew as well, that if they were to help him in this fight that he would have to think of a tactic that might be unknown to the swordsmen.

Quickly the warrior called upon his ability of darkness and shadowed the area in pitch black. He had no idea what this was truly about but he had to assume that Enroshia was after his life. Crouching low, the mercenary released a low growl, threatening his foe and moved off to the side, leaving no sound to follow. Quickly a slight brush of wind whispered at the keen ears of the slug and told him that his rival went towards the sounds of his growl.

Using his ears and his inner senses, not needing his eyes, the emerald warrior tracked his target, listening to every footstep as Enro prodded away, hunting for Retane, wanting him to slip up. The humanoid slug reached to his belt, flipping a pouch open and produced a deck of cards, The Cards of Destiny. Drawing the top card, he warrior looked down, a fruitless action, pondering what the card actually was.

Nine of diamonds.

Not sure how he knew what the card was, and not really caring, the mercenary launched it in the direction of the elvish warrior. The card was silent, it's thin shape able to slice through the wind without disturbance. After a few moments, the mercenary heard still nothing but silence. THere had been no connection, but he was positive that Enroshia had just been standing there.

Missed. And you can not see where I am, came the call of the pale humanoid, but which direction, Retane was unsure. A shuffle came from his left, then from his right, and once again right in front of him. The mercenary leapt into the air, confused. Was the swordsmen really that fast? Or perhaps it was some sort of trickery. What ever it was, the emerald warrior wasn't happy with it.

[PS] Bar/Theatre/Arcade - Aero - 05-13-2007

?Another.? Gokua looked at the bartender with half opened eyes as he slowly felt his sense of balance slipping away. It was what he wanted. He wanted that feeling of comfort?of thinking that everything around him was gently tumbling, whilst in reality, it was he that was distorted.

The bartender had just finished drying out a shot glass with a stained cloth that he usually kept in one of the pockets of his smock. He glanced over at the drunk alien. ?All right, just let me put this final glass away and I?ll filler up,? he replied. His voice was deep and frequently pushed out from inner grunts. He had a fatman voice, and rightfully so; he was a bit on the round side, gut protruding from his dirty smock, and an extra layer of fat jiggling under his rough, red beard.

He put the glass back with its friends and retrieved a bottle of some mysterious beverage from under his counter. DANTE WELCOME TIPPER was the brand, or so the sticker said on the front. Under that it showed how many ounces it was and also that it was 100% alcohol. Without hesitation he opened the top and grasped Gokua?s glass in his other hand, filling it. It flowed from the bottle to the glass with amazement, and Gokua couldn?t resist turning an eye to it. It was so pure?so beautiful. The purple liquid transferred to his glass with elegance only seen from exotic dancers (Not strippers, exotic dancers). It made him salivate.

?There we are,? the chubby tender said as he slid the glass back to Gokua?he still have the reflexes to snatch it out of from its trajectory?and shoved the strong liquor back under the counter. ?Hope you have fun with that shit.?

?Oh, I will.?

The bartender turned his back, but was quickly called over by another competitor. Gokua didn?t care to see who he was tending to; didn?t matter.

He gazed into the glass at his purple antidepressant as he thought about the troubles he?d wash away with this shot?Dante?s Abyss commencing, possibly fucking a broad during the competition, who?d be his first victim, would he be the first victim?even though he knew that the troubles would merely reemerge with more tenacity later. But fuck it. Facing problems up-front was for fags. Gokus wasn?t a fag.

He brought the glass up and welcomed the alcohol into his mouth. At first, it had the taste of a heavenly juice, but quickly the 100% alcohol overwhelmed the initial flavor of greatness. It tasted like shit, pure shit. Gokua?s face wrinkled from its strong aftertaste, but still he took another swig. It wasn?t like he had much else to do but drink his day away.

The room became more distorted as he looked around. His fellow drunks were beginning to mutate into pink elephants and magical unicorns, except with penises. He was at ease.

From the far corner of the room, one of the contestants turned the television on, via remote, which had been lying only inches away from Gokua a moment ago. It was FOX 45: News at 10 again. Gokua sighed. This is fucking up my day. It was Susie CarMichael, from Dante?s sign-up station once again.

?I am still here at the sign-up quarters outside of Vegeta?s capitol building, where there hasn?t been any drought of hopeful contenders yet.? Her fucking accent still agitated Gokua. ?And now, we have one of the individuals that just signed up with us now. Mister Kiro.? She gave the blue warrior her microphone and took a step to the side, allowing the camera to completely concentrate on the DA hopeful.

Gokua?s eyes instantly widened, and his sense of unbalance evaporated as his eyes locked onto the small screen. It was Kiro?his Kiro. It was the Kiro that he fought alongside in the civil war back on Pathos. It was the Kiro, whose purple cloth Gokua sported around his head. ?Kiro!? he shouted aloud as he leapt from his seat as if it had been sabotaged with a dildo. His fellow drunks looked at him apathetically and then returned to drowning their sorrow with that great golden beverage.

?Kiro . . .? he muttered as he slowly walked his way to the television in a limping step, like an undead. ?Where have you been all this time?? He dragged his feet through the littered floor, colliding with soda cans and candy wrappers as he reached the television, hands outstretched towards the screen. ?I must find you . . .?

?So, Mr. Kiro, do you anticipate a good stay in Dante?s Abyss?? Susie asked him.

?Well, I plan to make it pretty far and hopefully meet up with a childhood friend of him.? A smirk stretched from ear to ear as he said that sentence. His eyes narrowed and his cheeks rose upward, almost shrouding his eyes completely. ?He knows who he is.? He pointed a finger at the camera before him.

Gokua?s mind was poisoned from the special liquor, and he saw Kiro?s left hand, finger pointed and all, emerge from the screen, twisting around in full circles as it got closer, like a jack-in-the-box, but a hand instead of a head at the end. It enthralled Gokua, and he felt it come within a few inches of touching range. He reached back, trying to grasp his dear friend?s hand. As soon as they nearly touched, the vision disappeared.

?Boring,? a contestant said as he changed the channel on the television to a much more entertaining show?Spongbob Squarepants.

The introductory song played:
Captain: ARE YOU READY KIDS!?
Children: AYE-AYE CAPTAIN!
Captain: I CAN?T HEAR YOU!
Children: AYE-AYE CAPTAIN!

Gokua whipped his cranium around with incredible force, glaring at the poor soul who ignorantly changed the channel. His eyes were full of hatred, and a steady grunt of humming erupted form within. His blood boiled. Gokua wanted to lunge forward and completely lacerate the man?s throat?from ear to ear?for changing the damn channel.

Captain: WHO LIVES IN A PINNAPLE UNDER THE SEA!?
Children: SPONGEBOB SQUAREPANTS!

Gokua listened to his instincts, and went after the man?s throat. The shitty introduction song to Spongebob Squareplants blasted in the background as he pushed the man to the ground and grabbed the only weapon available?a dirty butter knife with residue of strawberry shortcake still present. He grasped it tightly and slammed it into the guy?s juggler. Blood spewed from the fresh wound, spraying Gokua with crimson fluid as he pulled the knife across his neck, ripping through his throat, and all the way to his other ear. Blood continued to flow like a rising tide, drowning the man?s and Gokua?s attire in blood.

The Pathosian was a crazed drunk, incapable of tolerating any bullshit. That was a perfect example.

[PS] Bar/Theatre/Arcade - Joe Android 15 - 05-14-2007

Android 15 watched as the electric door slipped open, he stepped in. The Android looked as the electric door shut close. The Android looked around to see a rare gathering of several different races around. Hmm.... This is funny. What a rare gathering.

The careful android then scanned everybody in the room just to make sure there weren't going to be any unnecessary combat or any sudden rashional movements. ::Beep Beep:: The Android smiled at the results, and moved towards the bar table, which he saw a several sitting there.

Android 15 took the seat closest to the entrance of the bar, he started tapping the table with a strange rythm, alerting the bartender.

The bartender moved towards the android slowly. "Yes sir, how may I help you?" asked the bartender in a polite but lazy tone.

The funny dressed android acted as if he didn't hear the question, but simply reached in his pocket and threw the silver can he pulled out of his pocket unto the bar table.

"Fill this up, now" said the android with a flat tone.

The bartender surprised by his reaction, reached for the silver can. He then put it close up to his nose and sniffed a bit. The bartender smiled and went to work putting stuff together, and combining stuff. Thus, refilling the android's can with his request.

"Here you go sir. You sure have good taste" said the bartender after finished working with the android's request and putting the silver can on the bar table. "Anything else?"

The android looked at the bartender, and smiled at his comment. He reached for the drink and placed it carefully into his pocket and tapped it twice. The android slipped out of his seat and walked towards a couch near the television. He then jumped on the couch, and placed himself in a comfortable position facing the television, seemingly to enjoy the show that was on.

[PS] Bar/Theatre/Arcade - Uno - 05-16-2007

?One, two, three, pull!? Several employees were in a line, grasping each other by the waist. At the count of three, the group of workers tried to pull out an object that was stuck in the teleporter. Although the tried, they seemed unable to release the large, pink, humanlike mass from its hold on the machine. ?This isn?t working.? one of the workers cried, wiping sweat from his forehead. ?This thing is stuck like glue. We need more workers.?

?We can?t do that.? the second employee stated. ?I we don?t get this thing out soon, on of our other contestant may get stuck inside that thing. One, two, three, pull!? again, their attempt had failed. ?Wait! I have an idea. Bill, get the butter from the fridge so we can greece this thing and pull it out.?

?The butter?? questioned Bill. ?Hey But that is for my lunch!? The other employees sighed as they tried to release the large pink gumwad from its resting place. Still no luck.

?Bill, it?s the butter, or your job ? Bill began to contemplate the idea for a while, then began to release tears from his eyes. He started dripping from his nose and tried wiping away the liquids, but only spread them all over his face and arm.

?A-alright, if I have to...? Bill responded as he ran into the employee break room. He returned with a small plate with butter on it. ?This...this is for you, my delicious butter!? said the sobbing employee as he spread the butter over the pink blob. For the forth and final time, the group said aloud, ?One, two, three, PULL!!!? as they yanked back as hard as they could. The blob came fling out like a speeding bullet, ramming into the group of workers. All the workers feel back on the ground as the large mass feel on top of them.

?Oh, thank for that!? the large Dodoria yelled. ?I be stuck, you get Dodoria out. You even give Dodoria butter! Yummy!? Dodoria stood up and walked away from the crushed workers, licking butter from his armpits.

After wandering aimlessly around the area, the manly pink creature stumbled into a bar, where several different bystanders looked in disgust as the heaping wad of buttered gum strolled through the door. Dodoria finally took a seat after finishing licking all the greasy dairy product off of him. The bartender walked over to the slumping pink mass. ?What will you have...? The bartender paused for a moment to find the right word. ?...sir??

?Dodoria want one glass.? The bartender quickly prepared one of his finest beers into a large mug and offered it to the hungry alien. He happily took the glass and stared into the contents. The large creature grimaced as the dumped the beer onto the floor and tossed the mug into his mouth. He gave it a good ?crunch? and then another one after that. He finally swallowed the broken shards and finished with a satisfied burp. ?BLEAAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaa!!! That was delicious! Dodoria have another!?

[PS] Bar/Theatre/Arcade - Retane - 05-16-2007

His anger flared. His temper boiled. He was infurious, not at Enroshia, but at himself. The white haired human outclassed him every which way he could think. Skill and technique. He was faster, the elvish one was. Of the two, only Retane could release ki. The mrecenary fathomed his predicament and swiftly crossed his arms acrossed his chess and thrusted them downward.

Silent and lightless, the mercenary felt the powerful wind circulate around his arms, coming close near his arms. He felt the slight pain, as one of the winds nicked him. Quickly, he concesntrated on keeping the razor winds calm. Now all he had to do was figure out what it was that the elvish warrior used as a technique to trick him.

I call it Mind Manipulation. You hear and see what I allow you to. Does it scare you, that I know more about your whereabouts, then you know about mine? Come now, Retane, release your darkness and let us see who is the better.
The mercenary released the darkness, hoping to get the upper hand, releasing a bright orb. Closing his eyes, he felt the flash, and half saw it light the flesh thast covered his eyes. As the light receded, he reopened them, only to see the pale humanoid staring back at him.

"Learning anything yet? You will never leave this place unless you beat me. The longer you take, the more chance you risk to perishing." Enroshia was blunt and his eyes were of fire.

The renegade growled, wanting to kill him, yet the words struck harder then any attack could. It was the truth and it stung, deep within. His pride had been injured.

A solid thunk came next. Enroshia buckled, staggering back, nearly dropping his blades. The jade assassin had swung without even knoing he had done so, and connected with the jaw of his rival, and he had done it swift and hard.

The mercenary took little time to thrust one arm forward, releasing the slicing winds at his foe. They connected and the jade slug, listend to the slicing as the flesh ripped open. He heard no screams though. Was Enroshia that tough? A quick glance allowed the warrior to see the dripping blood staining the crimoson cloth of his target. Enro only let a heavy breath, but that was the eye of the storm and the swordsmen learned it as the namek loosed his second razor wind.

------------

Retane approached Olibu, quietly, not noticing the half saiyan behind him. They stared eye to eye, the two did. The assassin sniffed barely and was able to sense the putrid alchohol emitting from the vapors of the humans breath. He was deeply intoxicated, and it sickened Retane.

The warrior growled low, not making a move, wanting to see his neck pour blood, yet he resisted. He paused, staring the human deep within his eyes, wondering if the man that deafeated still dwelled within.

[PS] Bar/Theatre/Arcade - Olibu - 05-16-2007

The cyan haired woman had wondered off, away from Olibu, and in his intoxication he hadn?t the slightest idea of where she had gone. However, it bothered him not; he couldn?t shake the visions he had of almost every woman he had ran into. Behind his dreamy blue eyes, every woman appeared as the one he had failed. The inkling of Bra resembling Bulma was dismissed by the fact that his mind had made every woman appear to look like Bulma.

The stench of alcohol lingered around the blonde fighter as he attempted to raise himself from his bar stool. The emerald warrior, crazed and psychotic from his taste of revenge, felt himself tense up as though the calm moment just before a fight was appearing before them. And as he stare back into the clear blue eyes of his opponent from just one year ago, the moment of calm passed. However it had not transitioned into further developed stages; the fight never came. Instead the thunderous sound of a rather large man crashing to the floor broke the calm.

Retane, who had compiled a rather bewildered expression upon his face, stood there towering over the drunk. Surely not; could this drunk be the same man who had best him? If it was so, the courageous warrior that stood on the battle field just one year ago had lost himself within a broken shell of a man.

The emerald warrior couldn?t stand the sight of Olibu, there would be no pleasure in a victory over this man. No, vengeance was to be sweet, not shameful. However, the namkian had no idea what his next move should be, he had not completely dismissed his revenge; he would have it. Only he would have to change the circumstances.

(I'm seriously sorry Retane. Some things have come up at home, its pulling me from my writting, but I'll try to stay in this. Again sorry for the length)
