The Straccis - Auditions - Old Zangya - 06-28-2007
OK, so I was playing "The Godfather: The Game" and I thought that the Straccis were a pretty low-detailed family in the game. Them and the Cuneos, but I wanted to do that Straccis, alright? So, I decided to make up a little RPG about the Straccis. Each "Episode" is going to all take place in one thread, sort of like the Heroes thing that Burter did. Well, what's going to happen in this thread is the auditions for the parts in it. I'm gonna put up some characters, then, if you want to be in it, write a short roleplaying sample for the character you want. I'll pick the ones I like best to play the main roles, and put the rest in reserve for guest appearances. So, here's the main roles:
Salvatorre Stracci, Sr. - Don
A cruel, violent man, Sal Stracci, Sr., is a man that hates to be trifled with. He's known as the "Butcher of New Jersey" because of his cruel, murderous methods and his extremely successful chain of butcher shops.
Salvatorre Stracci, Jr. - Underboss
Sal, Jr., is just as cruel as his father, but refuses to think for himself, instead carrying out his father's every whim. Secretly, however, he is creating a plan in which his father will be forced out of office. He's also very flirtatious and loves to party.
Jack Fontana - Consigliere
As long as he's safe, Jack doesn't mind being a part of one of the most brutal mob families out there. He looks out for his own back, along with the Straccis, but is generally not as brutal as his clients, and prefers more diplomatic solutions. He often hangs out with Sal Jr.
Oscar Zavarelle - Capo Regime
One of the two Capo Regimes of the Straccis, Oscar prides himself as the main manager of the butcher shop empire, and often can be seen at the slaughterhouse, assisting his workers. Some people think this is because of his bloodthirsty nature, although he insists it is because he just wants to pitch in on the grunt work.
Leon Grossi - Capo Regime
Leon wastes no time in using 'persuasion' by way of violence to get his way. He's the interrogator of the Straccis, and is skilled in not only violent persuasion but also diplomatic as well. But he prefers the violence.
Sofia Stracci - The Don's Wife
Sofia is a lady of interest in many crimes. Though her husband is her only said tie to the gang, she has often been accused - but never convicted - of assassination and theft. She's the elegant one of the Stracci pair.
Now, keep in mind that occasionally, characters will be killed off, attacked, or some other things, but that all comes with it. If your character is ever killed, you will be immediately put on the list for main roles if any come up and will be a first choice for guest roles. So, auditions are now open.
