Hey guys, I'm gonna be helping out running a news website dedicated to television. Check it out.
http://www.theidiotsbox.com
We haven't officially launched so we arn't updating very regularly. We're looking for dedicated writers if you're interested.
In a couple weeks we're gonna be launching the site and we'll have much more regular updates

Writers in what field? Summaries, reviews, previews? Or . . .?

Turn off the idiot box, hey!
It's a disease just like the chicken pox!
Theidiotsbox.com - Burter - 08-05-2007
Any of the above.
Articles will the bulk of it, but previewing and reviewing is cool

Bump. We're launching soon. Positions available

If you need anyone who can write about sports, i'm very sports knowledgable, but other then that i don't watch much TV. just throwing it out there.
Theidiotsbox.com - Burter - 08-25-2007
That would be absolutely awesome, dude. We have nobody on sports right now.
IM me and we'll talk about a trial position to see if you like it, and we like your work.
Theidiotsbox.com - Bujin - 08-25-2007
I'd be available for sports, as well. <.< Too bad I didn't see this sooner.
Theidiotsbox.com - Burter - 08-25-2007
I'd appreciate it if you both IMed me sometime

How many people do you need for the sports? Because I wouldn't mind. Myself, Bujin and Mino could all focus on particular sports or something.

I dont really watch too much TV. Unless you just wanted an article of Doctor Who and House alternating everyday for the next 5 years.
But I have bookmarked the site, so I'll be reading it.

Well, we're a TV site, so we would need sports blogging as it relates to TV. For example, writing about a certain sport as it airs on TV (maybe a Monday Night Football review every week). Also, general reporting like, say, a popular athlete is going to act in a TV show.
I don't think we need a ton of sports writers, since it's not our focus, but we definitely would like to have at least a little sports being done, because Sports IS a big part of television entertainment
Tien: We don't have anyone on either of those shows so IM me if you're interested in blogging for them and doing some general reporting for them.

If I could rip into Madden every week I would so write for ya guys.
