ghost in the shell sac - Pink Underoo - 08-21-2007
Finally watched the first season of stand alone complex, thought it was pretty godly. Reminded me a lot of cowboy bebop since most of the episodes were decent stand-alone stories and the major plot development was slow/disjointed. It felt like 1980's drama/suspense with plenty of action.
Anybody know where I can find good torrents for 2ndGIG or Solid State Society (Josh, I'm looking in your direction)? Are they comparable to the first season?

I never finished 2nd Gig. What I did see of it, while good, wasn't quite up to par with SAC in my book. Gotta say, though, that SAC had one of the most satisfying endings of just about anything I've ever seen.

Dab, check your PMs.

EDIT: I take that back, SAC didn't really suck. I just expected much more of it, having loved the movie. It was like a detective drama or something.

Hm, seems like 2ndGIG is inferior to the first season of SAC, at least for the first 10~ episodes. It really takes off in a different narrative direction from the first season, but half way through the 2nd season it starts getting better.
The Solid State Society movie seems to be like 2ndGIG condensed into a single, uninterrupted 2~ hour story. It was okay, but I probably should have watched it after finishing 2ndGIG =o
