Actually, I think it'll be a good movie, when looked at from a strictly movie view. The problem is, it probably won't live up the fan's expectations.
Like Spiderman 3. I loved it. But alot of people don't, for various reasons.

Obviously, if they make a DBZ movie with a big budget, they'll have to rewrite things to the point where it won't be recognizable by a fan. A studio isn't going to put a ton of money into a movie that only a small subset of people will appreciate.
Then again, they made the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles work... So who knows.

Look how close the Halo movie was to being made, WETA had warthog prototypes and some ODST suits already made, and it was dropped. Odds are someone will pick it back up but it shows nothings set in stone.

If they really do make it, I'd see it. I'd hope to be surprised like I was with Transformers but I doubt that's gunna happen again, lol. I highly doubt they're gunna do it though.
