I remember back when I used to get all my news from this site. Then I get a chance to visit, and notice nothing is said about this subject that is very important to me.
Recently, as in about half a week or so ago, it was made public that Robert Jordan passed away. He was in the process of finishing up the 12th and final Wheel of Time book. He and his wife actually lived in Charleston, SC.
Here's my condolences and hopes that the book will still be finished by his wife, as before he died, he had the entire story plans given to her or something, and its supposedly been sent off to word processing.

I actually got curious after relistening to an old wot podcast and went on his blog the very day it was announced. It really hit me when I remembered his earlier blogs about his sickness.
He'll be missed.

Dammit. It's very sad to hear that he passed on, so may he rest in peace. Also, I hope that the last book gets published. It's his legacy, and I know he'd want to see it end. I mean the guy spent his last days on Earth trying to finish it. =(
