I haven't bought the videos. I got really excited though when I realized there was a guitar with a fetus inside it. Bought that as soon as I saw it.
Through the Fire and the Flames just sounds SO much more epic when you're playing it. It's beautiful. And it hurts. A lot.

How did someone not get this right sooner?
It should also be a good indication of how ridiculously awesome Rock Band will be.

The price is pretty much the only thing holding me back right now. £70 for a game is a bit much, especially since it's totally not the type of game I'm used to, so I'm not sure about it's long term playability. Plus my last experience of something even remotely similar to guitar hero was the eye toy for the PS2. I played it maybe 3 times in the space of a 3 years.... >.>
But I guess you can't really compare the eye toy to guitar hero.

The great thing about GH is once you've unlocked all the songs you can flip on you console, quick play a couple of songs and be good.
Its a great pick-up-and-play game with tons of replay value.
