fav albums/songs/bands - Bojack - 11-10-2007
I've started getting into the habit of listening to full albums. First of all, this is the way to go. Screw MTV, and a couple songs on Limewire every now and then; get full albums and listen to them. Preferably classics, but nobody is perfect. Secondly, STOP DOWNLOADING SINGLE SONGS. I have fucked myself when it comes to the following albums:
Appetite for Destruction - Guns N' Roses
Eliminator - ZZ Top
Back in Black - duh
...because the main/best songs I had already played out by the time I got the whole album. Or just keep doing it. I dont care.
My favorite so far is probably Blood Sugar Sex Magick by RHCP, Led Zeppelin, or Rocks by Aerosmith. Haven't really had time to think about it... anywhooooo, I wanna know what your guys favorite albums are. Or just ones you recommend. Etc.
*This is about albums, but if ur too lam to have heard a lot of albumz, then you can just contribute a song or a band.

Death Cab For Cutie - The Photo Album
The Decemberists - Her Majesty
Blonde Redhead - Misery Is A Butterfly (you should really check them out, they have this amazing Japanese woman as their singer and it has lots of pianos and violins)
fav albums/songs/bands - Blind Man - 11-10-2007
Muse - Black Holes and Revelations
O.A.R. - Stories of a Stranger
Lucky Boys Confusion - Commitment
Mindless Self-Indulgence - You'll Rebel to Anything
Reel Big Fish - Turn the Radio Off
Zox - Take Me Home
Zox - The Wait
Those are a few. I DEFINITELY recommend Zox, they're fantastic. All these bands are, and I'm sure I'm not the only one who thinks so =)

~Only Songs~
I'm way too picky about things to post entire albums so just think I support the CD.
Asia - Heat Of The Moment
Billy Talent - Red Flag
Cab Calloway - Reefer Man
Cake - Going The Distance
Chevelle - I Get It
Foo Fighters - Long Road To Ruin
Fu Manchu - Squash That Fly
Modest Mouse - Dashboard
Anything by New Order
Musically, the Foo Fighters have really grown and there new album is definitely a mark stating that. Same goes with Modest Mouse considering how comfortable I feel they've stayed true to their blend of music. New Order is an old favorite of mine, they're more electronic mixed with a small British punky sound. Meh, mostly songs... others I would've posted have already been done.

Have you heard that album? I thought it sucked, considering how great Good News for People Who Love Bad News was. But I did like that particular song.

I don't think any of their albums, past or future, will be as good as Good News... least in my opinion. Dashboard is what really headlined We Were Dead for me along with Little Motel only because I favor their smooth relaxing songs just as much as their more popular pieces.
