Yeah, i know, "wtf, theres plenty of threads like this go find one omg". Screw that.

I'm looking to buy a laptop, primarily for music and movies, maybe Spore when it comes out. I was thinking something that is fine now, and if I decide to get a decent game I could just buy a graphisc card and upgrade the RAM. I don't know dick about graphics cards (still), and I was also wondering would the graphics that come with some laptops (like ATI Radeon x1200 or something) be good enough for something like WoW or Spore.

I'm thinking like 500 dollars, maybe 6 if I absolutely have to.

I wouldn't expect you'd be able to get a laptop with a decent graphics card for under 600 dollars.

How about a phone with a plan first so you can call me, asshole?

I'm doing both stfu.

I figured that Sazuaa. The thing also, is that most new laptops come with Vista Premium, which has that Aero shit. I just want something that I could torrent on until I buy a graphics card. I figured I would have to.

And my usual setup of running programs is usually iTunes + Firefox + Windows Sidebar + Last.fm. Anthing that won't chug throuh all that is great.

For $600 you should look into a desktop instead. You should be able to get something waaay better and it will be easier to upgrade.

What Aero shit? I've got Vista home premium and haven't heard anything of Aero. Isn't it supposed to be graphic running in the backround or something?

It makes things see-thru and all pretty and shiny.. you can turn it off though.

I don't have room for a desktop. My room is literally the place where my grandparents stored everything for 5 years before I moved in.
