This is a pretty great article/essay written by Malcolm Gladwell. I thought some of you might enjoy reading it. Its pretty great.

That was really interesting. Usually I find it hard to sit and read a long article, but that was easy.

We talked, in one of my classes, about this article. One of the things I really liked about it was its accessibility. The examples are very ordinary (who hasn't "choked" or "panicked"?) and the language he uses is very simple. And the subject is common enough that anyone can relate to it.

Yeah it was definately a good article. Really easy to follow.

I kept thinking about video games when I was reading it. Like when I play Gears for example, I don't really think about what I'm doing, it all just comes naturally. But if I'm in a stressful position, like if I'm one on one with a guy to win a tight match, I'll become really aware of all the buttons and struggle to remember which button does what, and it feels like I'm new to the game again.

Yep.

The only thing I begin to wonder if this is going me make me even more over-analytical still.

"Am I choking/panicking? Yes/no?" etc. Still, good read.

At least if you're thinking about whether or not you're choking versus panicking, you're not thinking about what you're doing.

That's exactly what I was gonna say yesterday after I read the article, but I guess I never hit send. lawl.

Good article though.
