I watched a documentary the other day about the science of Superman. Basically just a bunch of physicists attempting to justify how some of Supermans powers could work. It was interesting.
Oh and btw, in the movie Superman 2 I think it was, when Superman turns back time by flying around the earth and reversing the spin of the planet. That is the biggest fail, ever. Period.

Superman can die, and has died. I've gotten into some pretty heavy mathematical and physics based arguments about this for the heck of it. The long and the short of it is that there's no clear winner until you account for the intangibles. They are both little bitches who don't like to kill, for one. Superman can be killed by kryptonite, but Goku's a dumbass. Goku has some killer friends and family, and superman's friends are kind of lame. Goku has IT, but superman reversed time once (though... reversing the earth's rotation would SO not reverse time...). Who would win? I think Goku would, eventually. There's a whole lot of depth, believe it or not, to both sides. But, long story short, Goku was based off of the Superman storyline. He has everything Superman has, plus a ton more. Super strength, super speed, super hearing and x-ray vision (not quite, but Ki sense does the same thing), lazer vision, etc. I think that superman can live without oxygen (or hold his breath forever... or something like that), so yeah, he might drag Goku into space... and then Goku ITs back to earth so that point is kind of moot. I give the "V" to Goku. He's got more cards up his sleeve and he's also not a homo.
