I don't think that the distinction between "gay" and "pedophile" had yet evolved into their current, distinct understandings at the time that this was made. A man who desires a young boy is both gay and a pedophile, so it isn't blasphemous that the two terms might have been used interchangeably in an earlier time. The term gay has evolved into a more socially acceptable connotation now, and so people like us can sit back and laugh at videos like this because it seems simplistic and narrow-minded. But the fact is that phrases, words, and ideas evolve constantly. Not only has our society's general understanding of gays morphed, but our use of the term as well.
