So I went to the movies with my cousin and his girlfriend (he made me come, third wheel ftl) to see PROM DATE. Not only was the movie completely a waste of my $6.50, but the theater was packed with loud 12-14 year old girls, all screaming and talking and being thoroughly disruptive.
The best part of the day was going to pick her up and seeing here FINE FINE FINE younger sister. She was liek, totes hot.
Anyway, I want to know about similar movie/night out experiences.

Last Thursday me and my friend, Greg, went back to Baltimore from our college to get his ex-girlfriend. We pick her up, then we all go to the mall. We begin to head back to college, and before we even make it to 97, we get pulled over for having a busted tail-light. Okay, no biggy. However, this asshole Greg tells the officer it's cool to search the car. The officer finds crumbs of marijuana and a jar. He locks Greg up.
He tells me and Greg's ex that he will be released tonight in about 3 hours. Great. So we decide to go see a movie while we wait. We go see Ruins. That movie was complete shit.
That's about it. >.>

My bad movie experiences were the following, M.Night Shamalan or whatever his name is, The Village...like what the fuck? Seriously. I was expecting something else, when the bitch crawled over the big ass bush or whatever she did and I saw the road I went crazy already knowing what the twist was going to be. I just lost it. Absolutely lost it.
Also, Napoleyn Dynamite, didn't catch it in theatres but basically wasted six bucks on the movie when it was a new release. Me and my cousin were just like :| all through the movie. Nothing amused me, there was no comedy, there was nothing that even made me go 'Ha.' besides the credits that appeared at the end of the film that allowed me to tear my eyes from the pile of shit that was hyped up beyond belief.
Another movie I was dragged to go and see, She Hate Me....I don't know what the hell my now ex was thinking when she took me to see that movie but it was horrible. Dude fucks women to get them pregnant...a bunch of insane women at that, gets paid, then gets charged with something that I can't remember. At the end of the movie they have the guy taking a picture with ALL the kids he fathered. Aint that a bitch!
OMG I got a throw back...Pootie Tang. I was all too pissed about that movie especially when people were actually laughing...da hell...da hell.

I think people forced themselves to see it as funny after seeing a weirdly dressed guy 'dancing' around in the promos for weeks on end on MTV and other networks, they spread the words to their friends 'Oh man Napolean Dynamite is going to be funny as hell, come on and come with me to see it!'.
Then when they finally saw it they just bit their tongue and didn't want to admit they were wrong and they would've been better off going spending that six bucks to get into a club and slapping the biggest baddest guy and having fun running like hell.

One time when I was like 9 or 10, I went to the movies with some friends for my birthday party. About halfway through the film (George of the Jungle) I needed to go to the loo, anyways I went in one of the cubicles, looked into the toilet, and somebody had left a massive floater. It was gross.

Napoleon Dynamite, though I found it to be pretty funny, is infinitely better when you're drunk. Being high is probably an acceptable alternative, though I can't speak from first-hand experience.

wtf... you only pay six bucks? Last time I went to an evening movie without my student ID it cost me nine just for the ticket.
Watched it drunk and still didn't find it funny. Well we were drunk that night and watched it again sober and didn't find it funny.

I typically avoid going to the theater. It's just not a good experience. I'd much rather be sitting on a couch in my house watching a DVD that I can pause and eating whatever I want.
