Power-Up Ring - Burter - 05-14-2008 This weapon was in 06, and was used twice, both times to acquire third tier levels. Dana (as A-13, I think) and then Reijin. Last year, I left it out of the list due to popular opinion of it being too strong. What do you think? Should we let the item that enhances a power-up by one tier back in? Power-Up Ring - Zangya - 05-14-2008 Could it be used by people who lack power-ups? For instance, to get a first level kaioken? Or spiritken? Yes, if it can give T1 Power Ups to those that don't have one, than I'm all for this being added. As in.... um... nonforever. Power-Up Ring - Warako - 05-14-2008 Zangya Wrote:Wait, it gives? As in, forever? Just for DA, not forever heh. That'd be retarded XD Power-Up Ring - Zangya - 05-14-2008 Warako Wrote:Just for DA, not forever heh. There. Now you're right. But yeah, I suppose it would be kinda weird. To get powerups without earning them. But it'd still be flipping awesome. And a downside to that (for the people getting the T1 powerups) would be that they don't get to choose. Like, Warako may want SNS, but he really gets Spiritken. Like, Warako may want SNS, but he really gets Spiritken. It doesn't work like that. With a powerup ring, Retane would be able to attain Ultra Namekian. I would be able to obtain Super Kaioken. Power-Up Ring - Dave - 05-14-2008 Yeah, if it gives people T1 then I say put it in. It would make a fight if say, someone without a power-up went against lets say, Rad, in a fight and he is SSJ2. Power-Up Ring - Violet - 05-14-2008 Eh, I say leave it out. EDIT: Burt, you know our postcount is going up in this forum? <.< Power-Up Ring - Burter - 05-14-2008 I like how Zangya is all "if it doesn't benefit me, then no." The real answer, however, is it increases your power-up Tier by 1. So if you have Tier 0, you would go up to Tier 1. It's temporary, you do NOT keep the power-up. I'm just saying, if everyone doesn't get a fair chance to use it, then it's not a fair item. It would be basically saying to someone like me "Hey, guess what? You have a weapon, but it's useless, so basically, you've got nothing." I enjoy your compliments on my cutthroatness, however. XD Power-Up Ring - Kirano - 05-14-2008 Violet Wrote:EDIT: Burt, you know our postcount is going up in this forum? <.< Because it's in the IC RP'ing forum. Very observant though. Power-Up Ring - Burter - 05-14-2008 It's fixed. Power-Up Ring - Violet - 05-14-2008 Awesome, thanks. Power-Up Ring - Zangya - 05-14-2008 Burter Wrote:I like how Zangya is all "if it doesn't benefit me, then no."Tier 0 means "you got nothin'", right? So, like, Tier 1 is like Oosaru trained or spiritken untrained etc. Power-Up Ring - Raditzu - 05-14-2008 If you're limiting the number of possible weapons, I say leave it out in favor of something more interesting. Otherwise, sure, bring it back. Power-Up Ring - Hellfighter 17 - 05-14-2008 With a 36-hour IC cooling period (or something alone the lines), sure. Power-Up Ring - Android 17 - 05-14-2008 Bring it back. It was a pretty sweet weapon. |
