Phantom of The Opera - Android-18 - 05-15-2008
So I bought my bf tickets to The Phantom of The Opera for his birthday in feburary. We finally saw it today, and it was great. I've never been to something like this, and I'd do it again. During some parts I got tears in my eyes. The actors were phenominal. The tickets were 200 dollers but they were front row, on the left side.
It was funny because near the end one of the screens scrolled down while they were singing and cut off one of the actors, and everything went quiet and then the conductor was on the phone lol. They got the screen to start going up but it was slow, so one of the actors lightened the mood by doing a crank motion like he was making it go up lol. The audience started laughing, and they figured out where they left off and everything got back on track.
I wonder how they change and get makeup on so fast...seriously.

Acting is fun. I'm involved with it in my community theatre. I'm hoping so go see Sweeney Todd sometime soon, but I don't know if I'll be able to afford the tickets. And it's hilarious when those things happen, too, at least to the actors. Like, this one time, there was this guy that was supposed to come out, but he didn't, so me and the other three people were just standing in the middle of the stage for the longest time, and suddenly I piped up and said 'So...' and we all started talking. Luckily, some miracle or something had just happened, so it made sense for us to all be quiet. The only problem was after a few seconds everyone looked back there to see if he was coming at the same time. Eventually he came, and I had to improvise because we had gone on with the scene, and now one of the people was just repeating lines we'd said before, so I said 'What did I tell you before? ---enter line here---'.
It was fun.
