Juno - Spencinator - 05-18-2008

I just watched the movie, and I have to say that I really enjoyed it. I wasn't sure if I was going to like it, but they managed to get me hooked into it.

Y'know, I think it sort of managed to capture the current generation. Like, even Juno reminded of a few girls I knew that didn't really fit a 'mold'. The highschool even sort of felt like mine. It was weird. But yeah, good movie. It's a little...'chick flickish' I guess, but in a vague way.

Regardless, I recommend this movie to any people who enjoy good films, regardless of their genre. =)

Juno - Warako - 05-18-2008

I enjoyed it simply because Ellen Page was in it. XD

Not really that chick flickish imo, but even in the situations that would fit a 'girl' movie, they bring up humor to fit the situation that actually makes it enjoyable regardless if you hate these kind of movies.

Vanessa Loring: Your parents are probably wondering where you are.
Juno MacGuff: Nah... I mean, I'm already pregnant, so what other kind of shenanigans could I get into?

Well, I can't really explain it...I mean yeah, I agree on your opinion that it wasn't that chick flickish, but there was that feeling in some parts of the movie that felt like girls would understand this or that better then a guy would. And yeah, in parts where you'd think it'd be awkward, they managed to find a way to break tension. =P

EDIT @ Warako: xD Yeah, that part cracked me up.

Juno - Reijin - 05-18-2008

She was supposed to do a movie that involved a lesbian relationship with someone who also happened to be a werewolf (not the focus of the movie though, the relationship was) called Jack and Diane, with the other chick she's involved with being the girl that plays her best friend in this movie.

It was going to be glorious.

But no one would pay for it to be developed, so after a few years of trying to get people to help the cause I think Ellen had to finally move on and not sit on hold with it. The other girl still has it listed on her movie listing though, but not sure if EP will be involved.

Lesbian scene with Ellen Page? Oh gawd, why won't people help support this? I need to hit the lottery.

Juno - Pink Underoo - 05-18-2008

Is that the movie where the highschool girl talks like a 40-something screenplay writer?

Juno - Hellfighter 17 - 05-19-2008

The movie was bad and Page isn't that attractive.

Sorry.

Juno - Tobias - 05-19-2008

Its okay Hellfighter I know you tried your best. Maybe next time.

Terrible attempt at trolling, please post again this time with a bit more emotion and feeling so we can at least laugh at you with some sincerity.

Juno - Hellfighter 17 - 05-19-2008

I'm not even trying to be 'different' or joking. I'm utterly serious.

Juno - Nappa - 05-19-2008

They always react to people whose opinions differ from theirs in that way, Hellfighter. Don't take them seriously.

I demand an answer! >=[

Juno - Saz - 05-19-2008

Yes it is. And I agree with HF. Ellen Page has a boyish look about her, me no likey.

So do you do. =P

Juno - Tobias - 05-19-2008

Let me take a completely different path and say that Ellen Page is hot, and Juno sucked. Everyone else is simply wrong. Disagreeing is an irrational response. You are wrong.

I'm sorry.

Juno - Reijin - 05-19-2008

Its quite obvious we are power hungry and corrupt and wish to persecute anyone who disagrees with our infinite wisdom. At least there are those out there to forever remind us that we used to be lesser mortals.

Juno - Waffuru - 05-19-2008

I liked this too.

Juno - Reijin - 05-19-2008

Hard Candy was her best. XD

Juno - Waffuru - 05-19-2008

She's totally a lesbian.

Juno - Saz - 05-19-2008

Lol.
