Alright, I wasn't sure if this should be in Q/S/U or here, but since it directly pertained to rping, I figured this was the best spot.
I think I remember somewhere someone or something stating you can't have 2 rp threads going at the same time.
Well, I was wanting to know if I could be running another thread in conjunction with Diary of a Machine. The Diary isn't occuring in real time, so I wouldn't be doing two things at once. However, they will both come to a climax and merge together at the end of the two, so I need both threads for each personality.
So, can I do this? And if I can (since I'm already in the Discussion board), is this really a good idea, or do you think I should reconsider this?

There's no rule that you can't have two threads going at once. Your character simply can not be in two places at the same time.
I see absolutely no problem with what you want to do. My only word of advice would be to pace yourself so you don't get burnt out.
