L'Atelier - James - 11-22-2005 I'll be randomly making sigs and posting on here as I do, this is just to get me back into the swing of making them so feel free to leave comments if you get the sudden urge to. *Note: I personally don't mind if any of the ones I've posted are used, just give me a notice if you are. Thank joo much. )Just one that I've recently done, the other was a while ago. ![]() ![]() One more thing, I won't be resizing these considering they are for practice and not for anyone in particular. You use them, you resize them. L'Atelier - Toshiro - 11-22-2005 Borders are your friend Goten... Give a stroke to the fonts. Find abit better pictures. ^^ Other wise, nice attempts. L'Atelier - James - 11-22-2005 Quote:Originally posted by Gohan Blasphemy! Mostly because I haven't the faintest on creating a boarder around them. Dodoria, is there anything specific you want about it? I've been stubling with different styles of backgrounds and was curious about what sort of general theme you wanted. Yep, the Garlic one was done in Paint. Wish I could give credit where it's needed but I lost the Url/site for the background I used. Thanks much, GJ. For some reason I like the darker style of sigs. Looking back on a few now and seeing that, here's one I did of Rad (also some time ago) that I touched up a little yesterday... and no, it doesn't have a boarder either. >.>
L'Atelier - Toshiro - 11-22-2005 Get on AIM GotGot, and I'll teach L'Atelier - James - 11-22-2005 Quote:Originally posted by Pan Might as well get in a little practice for siggy calls, even if I'll rarely do them, nice to have a template of desired looks from time to time. GohGoh, I r gotz work ta do 2daie. MayB l8r. =/ Edit: Oh yes, thanks much Pan for actually reading what I write. <3
L'Atelier - James - 11-23-2005 Attempted to blend a real picture with a drawn one. This one started out random, but then I realized how much I loathed Yamu's current one. Use if pleased.
L'Atelier - Yamu - 11-23-2005 I like it Goten. Alot. I'll have to see if I can break to my litte brother to not use his. L'Atelier - Yamu - 11-23-2005 Goten, is there a way you could bring the eye out a little more? It just seems to...angelic, whited out. Besides that I thought you did an amazing job blending them together. L'Atelier - Super Buu - 11-23-2005 Furiza, maybe try saying what you don't like about them instead of just saying you hate them ![]() Gohan said it all really, heed his advice since he did my current sig, which I consider awesome. I think you should try and learn how to do self-made backgrounds. Piccolo had started using them (I think?) and it's improved his work a lot. I don't know what's going on with those windmill things in the first sig. The Yamu sig really stands out though... I genuinely think it's awesome and inventive. Change the background maybe so that the white of the eye stands out, like Yamu said. Keep working on them
L'Atelier - James - 11-23-2005 Quote:Originally posted by Furiza Omfg, you're so truthful, why else would they keep you around here? Windmill thing was an effect I was trying out based on the persona and color inside the current picture used, SB was dark so I decided to use a mixture of a dark red and black coloring. Purely an experiment as I never wanted anyone to use them anyway. All this is basically like me showing up at work, doing my job, then being fired for peeing in the water cooler. I do this for experience. I'll give the change of the eye a try, I didn't do anything to it 'cause that attempt was at making a drawn picture blend into realism but... eh, if you like it I'll give it a shot to make better. L'Atelier - James - 12-06-2005 Realize the quality pic/font wise is off in this one, basically just practicing background creation on my own by mixing and nixing pictures together.
L'Atelier - James - 12-06-2005 Yep yep, s'what I was thinking when I finished enough to take a step back on it. But I was working with backgrounds, God knows when I'll figure out those techniques 18 whips out like nothing on her's. I'm just too lazy to read up on any of it. L'Atelier - James - 12-20-2005 Alright, earlier this week I was watching a lot of concerts I found thanks to the curtesy of my cable provider's inability to cure digital breakup and noticed alot of logos from many of the bands. Well, I got to thinking and thought I might try to come up with one of my own for when I hit that talent show I'm doing at my High School. What I've done so far is mixed both an idea from Bon Jovi's "Have a Nice Day" music video and a smilie from here on Chubbs to come up with these two with the only difference in color. ![]() I realize they're pixelated, I created them on Paint then threw them over to PhotoShop to blow them up. These'll be stenciled onto a shirt or jacket, depending on what I'm wearing to the talent show, but what I want to know is what everyone thinks of them. The color will obviously be lost during the stencil as the only parts that would be spraypainted wouth be the outline, eyes, and mouth. They're simple and hopefully not too identical to any other signiture signs being used currently. Later when I get a shirt or something done with it on there I'll post up a picture, but for now this is what I've got... so what does everyone think? |
