It's really up to you. Don't just do sex for the sake of doing sex though. Make sure there is a reason for it.

It's something I have had planned for awhile. I'm just unsure how to handle it as it is something I have never written before. I am unsure how far to take it, where the line between emotion and gimmick runs.

Depends what you mean by 'works better.' If you want people to know every detail of the character's experience, go the graphic. If you want it to be a little more low key, go the other. Personally, I don't see a need to rp sex, but that's me.

If you're unsure, don't do it, just say your character had sex and leave it at that.

Don't be too graphic, this isn't a place for adult fiction, but you really shouldn't be afraid to give details. Basicaly whatever you think 'feels' like its better.

I personally don't care to read every little bodily function some fictional character has with another fictional character. It isn't pleasant. Imply it, use a little vague imagery, and leave Yamu in a total stupor afterwards.

I prefer implied, kinda. But, it's really up to you; remember, you are here to improve your writing skills and such, so just writing in the form we want wouldn't really be accomplishing that, would it?

Personalyy I would avoid it completly, albeit through serious allusion and subtlty. There are members here who are relativly young and don't need to be exposed to those things yet, regardless of putting a warning or a disclaimer at the header. Often that only makes it more desireable.

I would do it but mainly to further my story, not just to go "oh I fucked her" but to show the emotional build that it causes my character, similar to what I did with Akira. In other cases I would fade out.
