Transformations? - Super Buu - 09-16-2006 There aren't any werewolves in the RPG, to my knowledge, and no, Vampire Man doesn't have a full moon form as saiyans do. In most fictional representations, vampires don't transform on the full moon, but what matters is DB, and Vampire man didn't have that ability. You could, however, if you wanted, roleplay his Spiritken as something similar when you unlocked it. Transformations? - Kaden - 09-16-2006 They're non-transformers. If you want to RP some sort of Full-Moon thing, then fine. It would have absolutely no bearing on your character as far as stats or abilities go, though. Alternately, someone could RP Spiritken as their "transformation." Transformations? - Super Buu - 09-16-2006 Indeed I did. Transformations? - Burter Jr - 09-16-2006 Excuse me for going off topic, but your avatar is really, really hot. Transformations? - Jonathan Meer - 09-16-2006 On a side note, in every vampiric story I've read (actually, a surprising number), I've never heard of an instance of a vampire transforming in a full moon. I would assume it isn't actually commonly assumed. Transformations? - Burter Jr - 09-16-2006 That's it? Just a couple? What we're trying to say is, it's not something that happens often in vampire tales, and thus far I've found nothing about a transformation in my book on creatures like that, which is pretty detailed on vampires. We're fine with you doing it to replace Spiritken when you earn it. Just none of us believe that's actually what happens. But then again, it's a fucking mystical creature, so the fact I'm sitting here arguing against is baffles me. Transformations? - Super Buu - 09-16-2006 I'd also like to add that in Hellsing, nowhere does Alucard/Dracula transform as a result of the full moon. He can just shapeshift into different creatures like bats, hellhounds and so on (note that only he can do this, not any of the other vampires in the series). If you wanted to copy that, you could learn Shapeshift. Transformations? - Burter Jr - 09-16-2006 Just so you know: Your "transformation" will not help you in regards to your power level or give you any kind of advantage in a fight AT ALL until you get Spiritken. I've seen some things you've claimed about your "transformation" so I'm making it absolutely clear now. You get NO advantage because you haven't earned a power-up. While in the actual roleplaying, it will give you some good stuff to write, it won't help you when it comes down to the actual judging of a fight or contest Transformations? - Burter Jr - 09-16-2006 You should also be aware that NPCs will not affect the result of a saga, spar, or fight. Ever. This is because anyone can make an NPC at any time. NPCs are just roleplaying fodder, NOT little robot drones to help you in a battle Transformations? - Hellfighter 17 - 09-16-2006 DM, you cannot use an NPC in a fight to help you in it ever. I saw your conversation with Panbuukin, and he is right, it is against the rules. Transformations? - Hellfighter 17 - 09-16-2006 We're good. Transformations? - Burter Jr - 09-16-2006 I saw your conversation with Gohan too, just so you know. I'm referring to the things you said to Celipa. |
