Before you close the page, turn a blind eye/Deaf ear, just hear me out.
Let Dracula Man back in, please. I'm one of the few people that understand this character and though he did instigate a lot of problems, most of his warnings were caused by other members being morons and instigating the fight instead of letting it die out. Max has a habit of thinking he's right all the time, that's his fault, but I know for a fact that there are people that only responded to him because they wanted him to get into trouble, which is messed up.
We've let other people back into the rpg after major warnings/bans, so I don't see why this can't be the case, here are the conditions I got him to agree to if you will let him back in.
- No OOC...at all(until Staff says other wise, though he agreed to 1 year with no problems). This includes the Discussion forum...he'll need to either PM a staff member, or me(which I agreed to) and I'll ask for him and PM him back with the response.
- Access only to the RPG Discussion forum, for obvious reasons.
Since OOC was his only real problem, other than that outragiously revived thread when he first came in as Kilah. Personally, I'd like to see Chubbs give him another shot by taking away his problem. We're a writing community that has fun and frankly, I had fun with him in spars and in the saga. He's improving with his writing(or was at least), and I'd like to see that improvement continue.
So yeah, I'm asking for DM to come back under the rule of no OOC until Staff deems him fit to earn it back.

I'm fine about letting him back, but I have the feeling he'll ultimately slip. I suggested this exact thing to him (staying IC only), before, but he always has this knack for needing to be right. How do we know he won't try and alter his character somehow? Can he actually stick with something?
If he can stay ONLY to RPing and keep his attitude in check, then fine.
However, I can almost guarantee you that some of the staff will quite adamantly say no.

I didn't like banning him in the first place. The simple fact is that he broke many rules, was given many additional chances, and continued to break these rules. I don't dislike the guy at all, and I don't like people talking crap about him, but I will admit to being annoyed a large amount of time.
I like seeing the guy roleplay, so personally, and I've thought this before, I think that if he can roleplay without constantly being immersed in drama, I have no problem with it. I thought he'd be happy with the other site he went to, but either way I don't have a problem. As long as no further drama is created by his presence.
And yes, I agree with you about people purposely baiting him at times. That is wrong on them, but unfortunately, if someone is out doing drugs its ultimately the guy that did the drugs that is at fault, not the person that constantly tells him "Dude, you are easier to get along with when you are high; that's why noone likes you anymore"

Out of curiousity... Of the available characters, who is he planning to be and what might we be expecting? I am not against him joining as anyone in particular, although I think it be a fair trade to give him basic stats of a new joinee with his brand new character. I am cool if I see someone roleplaying Gohan. If I see Gohan as a gothic stoner wearing black eye shadow and carrying a massive scythe, at least in the immediate time, then I will be less inclined to agree, despite that being in the rules. Just to throw that out there.

it may be easier though BJ, I figure he can ask me to ask since he's not going to be able to view OOC, except the RPG Discussion. And yeah, I've been annoying due to my impatients, but with him, I'm not really going to care lol.

My stance is "no," but in the event he comes back, I hope I am proved wrong.
I agree with Bardock, and I think he should have viewing rights for teh regular OOC forums, but not posting rights, and Piccolo can be his medium through which he converses (if both parties agree; I don't think any other staff would object, but that's my idea).
Just remember that I am in no way swaying my opinion here, I am merely coming up with an idea for a hypothetical situation.

That said, I would be acceptable but the settings I would leave him with would involve him being able to read and post on the IC boards, read the Warnings board, read the RPG Discussion board (no posting, he'll have to have someone post for him), and that's about it. If the forum itself requires it, Read on the Asylum as well.

Here is what I discussed with Max.
Me: Name two characters you want to be in Chubbs.
Max: Dracula Man or Lord Slug
Me: Do you accept the term that you will only be able to see the RPG Discussion, the warnings, character Vaults, and the IC boards?
Max: yes, but no access to the RPG Discussion.
Me: do you agree that all questions will need to be asked through me?
Max: Easily.(yes)
Max also requests that he not be able to see any OOC forums other than the warnings and Character Vaults, anything else would only be a reason for him to do something wrong.
He would also like to know if he could rejoin as DM with his old stats and stuff.

He'll start with fresh stats. I would prefer to see him take a character with a decent picture base as well, so that we aren't dealing with fifteen versions of him. Someone that didn't appear in one episode or a movie type thing.
