Question. - OldNoriAccount - 11-01-2006

This isn't a request, or a demand, or anything really. Just wondering.

This RP only goes up to SSJ2, is there a reason for that? Or what..?

Question. - Jonathan Meer - 11-01-2006

Because of the difficulty level. There have actually been a few cases of people temporarily going third-tier, but for now, no one has flat out earned a permanent SSJ3, a third Android upgrade, etc.

Question. - Dehan - 11-01-2006

Wow...I never thought to ask this question. But I see it like this...they don't have anything beyond SSJ2 so they don't have to give out SSJ easily i.e just getting the requirements and rping getting pissed off and transforming. That'll make it too easy to obtain ssj2-4.

And from what I hear you can only obtain the mighteh SSJ through a saga or excellent rping.

edit: never mind my two cents krillin answered lol. And it makes sense.

Question. - OldNoriAccount - 11-01-2006

Yeah, I heard it was really difficult, and it is really not a factor for me anyway. But I was just wondering.

Question. - Dehan - 11-01-2006

lol yep I'm going to enjoy 'trying' to obtain it. I've got a feeling it's going to be some of my best rps, if I make it through the saga that is.

Question. - Kaden - 11-02-2006

Third-tier powerups are actually in the works. We're throwing around some new ideas for 'em too. No clue when we'll make it official, if ever, but we haven't forgotten about it.

Question. - Saz - 11-02-2006

What about nontransformers, us lot get a raw deal. We need some sort of, ultra Spiritken....

Question. - Hellfighter 17 - 11-02-2006

Actually, we're moreso working on the schema for them rather than the specific mechanism for each race. We do want to try to be a bit more individualistic with them than we have been, though.

Haha I agree that would be pretty cool, but we can learn things that others can't such as trained versions of some techniques. Although that would be cool to have a transformation or something to try and get, I think it equals itself out. Big Grin

Question. - Saz - 11-02-2006

Sounds interesting. When will this scheme, be made public? In the near future?

Dude, another question...how the heck could Rad pull off SSj 3? He'd be stepping on his own hair every five seconds.

Also, any clues on what the power ups for non-saiya-jin characters would be on the 3rd tier? You know, other then like 'Transformation 6' for Changelings.

If I ever got it I'd play around with the idea of his hair shrinking.

But yeah, mostly what HF said. It wouldn't be as formulaic as the transformations have been up to now. And Sauzaa, don't worry, we're got going to leave anyone out to dry. As it stands now, it takes about the same amount of effort to get any powerup, basically.

'rad turnz ssj2 and wtfpwnzorz joo wit his peen0r'

That fucking rules.

Aaaaaaanyway, what Pan just posted is a perfect example of why we haven't added more in the way of powerups. We could just hand them out to everyone to even things out, but that's dumb and we try to do not dumb things.

No we don't.

Edit: Alright! So I can't do quotes! ;(

Actually, I sort of have a 'theory' for this. I don't think Raditzu's hair would get any longer. Vegeta's hair, after all, didn't get 'taller' or 'omg spikier' when he went super-saiyajin. His hair just turned gold because it was already Super-Saiyajin styled, and it sort of makes sense that it was; his 'royal bloodline' was supposed to be bred to achieve Super-Saiyajin or something.

So with Raditzu, he'd probably just lose his eyebrows, because his hair is already SSJ3 styled.

And I second what Pan said.

*slaps that good ol' link up once again*

Question. - Kaden - 11-02-2006

I completely forgot about those.

While I still think they're awesome, we'll probably be going in a different direction.

EDIT: Those multipliers are obviously old. Add 20 to each one for how it would be introduced if we went with it tomorrow.

Question. - Drake - 11-02-2006

Rad's hair wouldn't grow because the whol growing of hair in Goku's case was probably his body adding new mass to contain the enormas amount of energy that Goku was out putting.

SSJ3 is ridiculsously strong, it penetrates the upper levels of dimensions. Even though Gohan, and Kaioshin were in another dimension all together on Kaioshin-kai, they could both feel Goku's power.

Not only that but Goku had enough energy to stay on earth for a day, and using SSJ2 didn't seem to drain it that much but when he went SSJ3 it went from like half a day to 30 minutes.

EDIT: I CNA GO SSJ2!!1

According to that, though, Rad's hair would still grow. His body is accustomed to his current mass, so he would need to add on to it for the same reason Goku did.

Not necessarily. It could have simply meant that Raditsu potential to hold power was higher than Goku's because he had the long hair, where Goku needed to add muscle mass as well as hair, Raditsu might have been okay since he had more mass to distribute through his body.
