My switch - Blue - 11-17-2006 So, what do you guys think so far? I think he'll be fun to play, personally. I just hope I'm not playing the old "If you're big you're stupid" cliche too much. The thread My switch - Shun - 11-17-2006 I think it'll be very interesting to read. My switch - OldNoriAccount - 11-17-2006 Its interesting, I will give you that. o.o My switch - Blue - 11-17-2006 I forgot this, but do you think that the moves are overpowered, underpowered, or just right? My switch - Shun - 11-17-2006 Personally I think 80% of the power he copies in copycat is a little too much, considering the fact he can't do it right, and can't manipulate ki conciously. And how does he create the toys if they aren't ki? My switch - Medraut - 11-17-2006 You're making him just like Lenny from Of Mice and Men, and I love that book. I'll be all for reading a Lenny type in DBZ. (Why didn't I think of that? Than again it'd be hard to do with CJ considering he's only about 4'7")
My switch - Blue - 11-17-2006 Quote:Originally posted by Yamcha They are, but he doesn't conciously do it. As in, he's not like: "I'm gonna make an energy ball now," and there it is. His imagination is the focus of his ki-abilities, so instead of the example above, he'll say: "I wish I had a toy," and his subconcious mind will give it to him. My switch - Dave - 11-17-2006 Quote:Originally posted by Cell Jr. That is a great book, might I add...does your character like soft things? My switch - Medraut - 11-17-2006 Ugh ignore this post, this is Blue's thread eh and thought the question was directed at me. I feel like I ruined the thread now haha. My switch - Shun - 11-17-2006 lol Edit: I think he was asking Blue/Spopovich My switch - Blue - 11-17-2006 Quote:Originally posted by Piccolo Edit: Nevermind me. I just like to think I'm the center of attention. My switch - Blue - 11-17-2006 Quote:Originally posted by Vegeta Hehe! Yeah... I like Fat Buu. And it shouldn't be too hard to roleplay with. Just think of a younger sibling, cousin, nephew or niece about 5 and you'll get the general idea. My switch - Blue - 11-17-2006 Quote:Originally posted by Vegeta There ya go. I helped. My switch - Mal Nova - 11-17-2006 You can go ahead be assured Mino will be rubbing his head alot... Retane will be bitchslapping a certain overgrown baby alot... and im sure the others might be doing the same thing too. =) Damned, the Horsemen just got alot weirder =) My switch - Celena - 11-17-2006 "George, can we tend the wabbits?" My switch - Super Buu - 11-17-2006 Oh my god. Me and my friends used to parody OMAM so much, since we had to do a shitload of work on it. Lenny = badass. You just need someone to act as your George now. "Dammit Spopavitch, what'd you do that for!?" *raises hand* "I'm sorry Yamu, I didn't meanda kill 'em" ='( Badass change, though you might find it difficult to give him depth. I know Kibbles said that roleplaying a non-speaking, feral character was a lot harder than he'd expected. But hey, you can always change his personality if you get bored.
My switch - Belle Hibiki - 11-17-2006 Quote:Originally posted by Super Buu It's not so hard once you get used to it. In fact, I'm beginning to prefer it over the more standard and MUNDANE back and forth that is the spoken word. Not being able to speak opens up avenues of pure expression that would be otherwise closed, ways to show what the character truly feels on an internal level and represent it in the external. So like when he wants to say 'good job' to Violet, he slaps her on the ass. Or when Super Buu pisses him off, he farts in his face. It's really a step up in communication. |
