Love it when people add a background story that can actually correlate and work with what they're role playing. Rock on concepts right there.
You've also a well used and extensive vocabulary, though it could simply be my under reading that could contribute to that. Either way you lace it into your work seamlessly, avoiding the appearance that you are just "trying" to sound smart.
Also enjoy the temporary glances at Yamu's history since if gives a good comprehensive idea of who your character really is and what he has experienced.

Interesting inner conflicts, keeps me guessing whether or not Yamu is truly who he acts like outside where others perceive him.
Nice descriptions of physical and mental activity throughout the post having to do with what Yamu is accomplishing within himself as well as performing his assigned task. Wonderfully done.
