Lost Odyssey
#21
Finally managed to motivate myself to finish this game. Got to say, all in all it was pretty average. It started out strong, but by the third disc I was finding it differcult to carry on. The thing that really frustrates me is that the premise of the game, the five immortals, one of whom goes rogue and trys to take over the world, is really interesting IMO, but they somehow managed to crap it up, with their nonsensical, uninspired storyline. Anyway I'm gonna go and start a new game on Oblivion, and wait for the next decent RPG to hit the 360. When's Star Ocean out again?

I've enjoyed what I've seen of this so far. I just killed that giant bird and entered Grand Staff.

You guys weren't wrong about the 1000 years of dreams. I've seen three and two of them made me tear.

Yeah, at that point I was practically creaming over the game. But after that it was pretty much downhill all the way. For me atleast.

I'll just put it down to the normal depressant attitude of the Chubbs population before I start thinking badly of this game.

Heheh. I'm not saying it was a terrible game, it definately has it's good points. Also it has some of the bad-ass... est looking, random monsters ever.

Yeah, it certainly is easy on the eyes. Which, coupled with the scope and breadth of some landscapes, is rather impressive.

Which is confusing when you get the landscapes that just... suck. It's like they ran out of time making a bunch of it look pretty.

It wasn't really a problem for me, but it was definitely noticeable.
