Wyatt remained silent on the topic, but he soon heard from gossip that Wyatt’s parents had been killed by the Chinese. The master’s brother had been killed many years before by the Chinese, so he never asked, and continued to teach Wyatt. He taught him the ancient martial art skills and also the fabled ability of regeneration.

Wyatt trained daily, improving his body to peak condition. When not training he searched for any information on the raid that had taken his parents. It took three years to piece all the information together, but Wyatt finally came to know the identity of the politician who planned the raid, and also the soldier who killed his mother and father.

With this information in hand, Wyatt bid farewell to his master, thanking him profusely for all that he had taught him, but ending the farewell by stating that he would never return.
