Clarification on weapons and profession

Greetings!

I would like to ask for a clarification on the weapon rules as well as Jobs. This is to ensure I am not overstepping any boundaries.

As far as I understand the rules regarding weapons, you can wield whatever weapons you want. However, unless they are Sync Weapons or the Ki Rifle purchased from CC, they have no effect on the fight and merely serve for IC purposes. Is that correct or am I missing something?

As for Jobs, I stated my profession to be "Maid". Since a maid is a personal servant, escorting her master/mistress and aiding her in his/her tasks is a part of her line of work. This is also likely to be the primary thing she does, since characters on Chubbs travel and fight a lot. However, I am wondering if that counts towards a Job or does a Job strictly need to focus on housekeeping tasks such as cooking and cleaning?

For the weapon stuff, you're absolutely correct. People are free to RP using swords or guns or broomsticks while they fight, but it won't have any impact on the outcome. It's just RP fodder.

I've read it before, and I'm the one that advised Tamsin of make sure about it.

Us in America see the Job Title 'Maid' as house cleaner. But Tamsin, in the DBZ world, has his Application stating the pure intent of what he means by 'Maid'.

I Personally don't want Tamsin to have the correct intentions of what he/she has as their intentions, only to have a staff member be a dick head and see the Title and think "cleaning" and be an asshole and say the job doesn't go towards their rank.

AS far as I am concerned, when Tamsin says 'Maid' it's a title of her guold and means personal Servant... Staff may deem it different though...

Well.. Tamsin seems to like the Title Maid.. and Like I said,,, He's european and this IS DBZ realm... IM sure you can read his App and undersatnd it as meaning servitude... We even mention it in our RP's

But isn`t "Servant" and "Maid" the same thing, except that "Maid" and "Butler" is more gender specific? Also, to clarify, I did not say that Tamsin would not cook and clean. However, considering the nature of an RPG such as Chubbs, chances are that she will have to help her master in other ways as well.

Also, I checked that link and to be honest, it just makes me even more concerned as to what counts towards my job ranking.

EDIT: It`s like those butlers of superheros, like Batman`s Alfred Pennyworth. Although they did take care of the household, they also acted in a support role to the superhero himself. I am wondering if that support role counts towards ranking up my profession.

There are just connotations to "maid" that don't exist for a title like "servant."

I have no problem with switching the profession title from "maid" to "servant", if staff considers that a more correct definition. I don`t think it really makes a difference IC-wise and I am not exactly dead set on having the title as "maid".
