Just how much creative license are you aloud to take with these quests? Anything as long as it doesnt directly contradict the discription right?

Yeah, you're allowed to pretty much do whatever with them (as long it as makes sense based on what's provided in the description), but if they have a high reward then the enemies will be hard.

There are things you can't do... like you can't make NPCs to help you defeat your enemies.. generally you shouldn't create NPCs that aide you.
16 or Garlic why don't you PM your plan so I can punch holes in it now isntead of later?

Yeah, and I don't think the staff can emphasize enough what a high reward means. Some of you seem to think that a 15 TP reward means some villain with a power level of 250,000 who can be defeated easily. Or you may think that "well, if I just RP long enough, I can do it." While this is sometimes true, I don't think some of you realize how... impropable, I should say, it would be for someone with a power level of 500,000 to defeat a villain with a power level of, say, 10,000,000. That's why some of these quests really do take some team effort. CDBZ isn't an RPG where we can watch each person roleplay in their own little world. It's a place that's meant to blend everyone's RPing talents and have them RP together. That's what the purposes of some of the sagas and tournaments are, and in the same aspect, that's what the purpose of some of these quests are.
Sorry if I was leading into some lecture, but I'd rather you, 16 and Garlic Jr., to understand this, rather than cut your Quest short and expect a reward for an effort that just isn't good enough because you didn't realize exactly what kind of effort was going to have to be put in. Edit: Also, use other quest descriptions as reference. A 30 TP reward quest with a 39 million villain means that something half the reward would probably be half the power. Probably at least.

Thanks for the tips Boli. We are makeing this a team effort. We have 4 members Rping (more or less) on this quest. Three on 16s last RP i was in. The quest we are doing, as stated, doesnt give enough info for a good and long RP. Which is why we want to twist it. To make it longer and more enjoyable, to make it something we can work with. What you sugested we do is the precise reason i wanted to know how much we can sculpt th quest to fit our own. One thing i dont like in an RP is haveing rules tie you down or haveing something exact to follow, any thing that reduces your creativity, it produces poor quality.

So... there's not enough info in the quest, but you want to be able to have freedom with what you RP. Doesn't one compliment the other?
Being able to RP about anything you want was the reason for leaving out a long, detailed description. However, and I'm going to edit the quest to say so specifically, the enemies you're facing are all at very high powerlevels. I thought people would pick up on this, given the reward, but it doesn't seem like it. ![]() "It's on my brain, driving me insane. It's on my mind, all of the time, and if it left... I would be fine."

I picked up on it...
![]() Edit: Yes Raditz thats what i was saying, about the short discrption thing. I wouldnt be doing quests if they said to much and bogged you down *points at previous post* ![]() When in doubt: It was sarcasm.

Quote:Standing guad by one of these would be the easiest way to encounter these ne'er-do-wells, but be warned that they possess incredible power. Estimated powerlevels range from 38 to 42 million each. The law has been layed.

Holy crap. Forget the quest. You 4 are screwed.
I mean...I'm sure you could do it if you really tried....

I sense i slight bit of hmmm, how should we say, sarcasm in your final statment. But we can do it.
