Audition: Toma (YES)
#1
Real Name: Roibu T. Mihai - translated - Roibu T. Michael (The T. stands for Theodor, or Theodore.)

Age: 14

Education Level: Just entering High-School when the summer break is over.

Registration Date: This latter one is 12 June 2006. The first one was in September 2005.

You will be judged on your answer in the following:

1) First and foremost, why should you be selected to play?

Well, because I like and want to help this RPG. I know I?m not the best material, and I?ve got to work hard to even come close to any of the fellow RPers, and even harder to be a good staffer, but I?m up for the job. Every time I see a challenge I go ?Oh, I could do that?possibly.? And when I try, it?s not so easy. Then I train for a few weeks and get better and better at it. That?s how I learned most things?like programming, making sigs, making a real video game, skate-boarding, biking, etc.

2) What qualities do you possess that will make you the Idol?

First of all, I?m very patient. I?ve got friends to whom I?ve explained the same thing millions of times in a row because they didn?t get it. I didn?t get mad one single time. I think explaining a member a few times something, should be a synch. Also, I?m really creative. I come up with ideas for almost anything walking to school for example. I actually tried to make a small RC car from scratch when I was little and had that idea. I made it, but I didn?t have a casing and it looked weird. More so, I?m determined. Once I set my sights on something I want, be it a position, an object, or a girl Wink , I don?t quit until I get what I want, or get bored of the chase and leave it as it is.

3) Tell me any previous experience you have with running an RPG. Included should be the name of the RPG, the genre, and how long it lasted.

DBZ Universe - DBZ - 1-2 weeks
IIYFW RPG - Inuyasha - 1-2 weeks ( got grounded and the RPG disbanded )

4) Finally, you need to write a short essay/description (200+ words) of what you feel being a staff member of Chubbs is all about. What do you think is nessecary, what do you think has to be done. Be detailed, as much as you can. Don't kiss our asses, we arn't looking for compliments.

I think being a staff member isn?t about the updates, it?s about helping people. If someone asks you to update something, you shouldn?t think ?I?ve got to update this again.? You should think positively: ?I?ve got to help this guy again.? This requires patience of course. If you don?t have nerves of steel, you may lose your grip on what being a staffer really is. It would turn into a real non-paying job. The best option at that time would be to take a break from the RPG.

Also, you should be able to debate. If you can?t convince a member that something is wrong, don?t just warn him. Try to talk him into thinking you know what?s best and that that is supposed to be done that way, not his way. If you still can?t make him calm down, and if it gets serious, maybe with flaming, that is the only place you should warn him in. If he attacks you, strike back. But if he did something wrong, by being a newbie, let it slip once and tell him to read the rules carefully.

The next thing you should have I guess, is the ability to keep consequent. If you reward someone?s quest higher than the other one?s and you think it?s of the same quality, there will no doubt be complaining. The best choice is make some marks. If that is done, then it increases the rewards by that much. Also, reading it thoroughly is necessary as well. That is tiresome, but it keeps the members in line. No arguments over rewards will arise if the quests are graded fairly.

The final thing I think is to keep your cool. If you can?t help but go mad when you can?t win an argument, it?s bad. If you can?t win an argument, don?t. Talk it over with the higher-staff and they?ll tell you what to do, or they?ll talk to him personally. More people have more ways of thinking. Everyone is more or less stubborn and tries to go his own way, so it?s hard to manage a group of people who think differently. A good staffer should always be able to explain something to a member, or if he is too stubborn, to make him understand. I don?t mean to warn him, but to show him what would happen if it was his way instead.

I don?t know, it may be only me, but I think I?ve had these whole features for a life-time. Except being able to debate, as I?ve entered debating club at school and learned a bit before I left I guess. I really don?t think you would consider me, seeing as how I?ve been here for less than a year, but I think it?s more important to be good at something than to do it for a long time. Also, if I were to be a staffer I?d have to polish my skills a lot.

Tell me something, that you named in your last answer, that you think you'll have trouble adapting to.

I think it's keeping my cool in debates. I can win a n argument if I'm right usually. But, if it's too intense, I may lose my calm and leave a few minutes to cool down and clear my head. This is because if I used to argue with someone in real life, I usually started crying a bit, but not by choice, the tears just came. I overcame this a year ago, but this bit still remained. Now instead of sad I get a little angry and need to calm down a bit.

Same as Lucifer; I hope you can learn a lot in this, as at this point I don't think you could make a staff member, but I have hops. Yes.
